Don't even think about going into this place. They have it set up like a museum--everything looks very nice--but the prices are absolutely crazy. My son wanted a very small chocolate brownie; they weighed it and told me it cost over $8. Then they wanted to charge $9 for six small pieces of bubble gum. In total, almost $18 for something that wasn't worth it at all. To make matters worse, when I tried to pay I attempted to use a gift card from the same store that a friend had given me. They told me it had $10 on it, but that it "wouldn't go through" and that I couldn't use it. In the end, we left without buying anything. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

High traffic, visually over-stimulating, and dirty ice cream place without much flavor. I got a kiddie scoop of Chocolate Espresso Toffee (three of my favorite things). Unfortunately it just tasted like dark chocolate ice cream--I didn't get even a hint of espresso--and there were absolutely zero of the promised toffee chunks. My ice cream also had a slightly weird consistency, as if maybe the temperature wasn't regulated correctly (note: I have no idea if this is why, just speculating). Outside there's a bunch of seating but all the tables and chairs are filthy and they clearly don't have the staffing to clean anything. The inside is bright pink and there are stuffed animals and kitschy cheap things for sale all over the place, which feels weird for an ice cream place. When we walked in, there were two contradictory signs indicating where the line should start. When we went to pay there was a couple standing in front of the registers feeding each other ice cream. The staff stood behind the register and didn't say anything to them to get them to move, even though they apparently had finished paying and just decided to keep standing there? It was a strange vibe. Staff were not rude at all but apathetic for sure. Ice cream wasn't horrible, but the flavor I chose was unfortunately absolutely bland and forgettable. read more

I arrived here around 2:15pm on a summer Sunday afternoon. The pink themed store caught our attention along with it being hot and wanting a sweet treat. I got cookies and cream , regular sized which is two scoops in a cup. My son got an ice cream cone. At checkout, I was asked if I wanted receipt. I said yes and clicked the email option but the cashier clicked something and gave me a printed receipt instead -_- What I didn't like was that some of the ice cream looked like it had been frost bitten, which was unappealing and we stayed away from those flavors. Some of the options were pretty pricey. What I thought was very interesting was the "Tracy's Kitchen Sink" which is "Ultimate sundae with everything induding the kitchen sink - 18 scoops of ice cream, all of deluxe toppings, 4 chocolate chip cookies, 4 brownies, gobs of whipped cream & cherries - all served in a real sink". That's so unique and the cost is $100. In addition to the ice cream, they have an area there they sell toys and other treats such as candy, cookies, brownies, etc. There is much offered! This cute ice cream parlor gets extra points for decor & ambiance. Super cute sugar parlor style. It is a child and big kid's dream. They sell ice cream, truffles, candies and other sweet treats. Purchased the smores and candy apple for my daughter. Flavor wise she says they were a 10 out of 10. So extra points for the taste. The ladies at the counters were all very nice and helpful. The one point was only deducted for the excessive pricing! Those 3 items (2 smores & 1 candy apple) with an 18% tip cost $37!!! They sell stuffed animals and other cute things for the young and young at heart, and finally, they have their famous homemade ice cream. I love their carrot cake ice cream and order it every single time I go. There is no sitting inside the store, outside they have cute tables and chairs where I love to sit and enjoy my ice cream. This particular location has a rotunda with fountains and walkways that makes the area appealing for a very nice little walk after the ice cream. I am so happy we found this little gem. Can't wait to go back. I love sitting outside, the vibe is fantastic with the water fountains and the sights and sounds all around. Highly recommend! The ice cream is legit and delicious! I got the small cup which you get 2 scoops to pick from. You are allowed to mix the scoops. I chose cookie dough cookie and fresh strawberry as my 2 flavors for $6.99. The cookie dough was sooo good. You can tell it isn't out of a box. The strawberry flavor was good too, but it legit has chunks of whole strawberries in it. I also tried 2 candies in their 1/4 pound pre-packaged envelopes for $3.79 each. I got blue raspberry rings which were fresh and just ok. The other one I tried were the sour twin cherries. I liked these better. A little softer and a little more flavor. Last up, I tried 2 cookies for $2.99 each. The chocolate chip cookies was hot and super gooey. The chocolate was already melting on my hands and the cookie was going to collapse if I didn't lay it flat with support. Let's start with ambiance: This place is so stinking cute! The bright colors and childlike energy of this place is the perfect fit for an ice cream parlor. They had a baked goods counter which also sells things like candy apples, again super cute! They have a serve yourself and weigh candy area which i'm sure the kids really love. On top of the ambiance of Sloans itself, there is a fountain and plenty of walking to do outside once you've got your ice cream. Now to food, The ice cream is really high quality and there is such a big variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. They also have baked goods, and you can get an ice cream sundae or sandwich with both their ice cream and their baked goods. Lastly the service : Obviously they were not waiting on us like servers, but everyone was extremely friendly and nice. I hate when I go to a business and the staff looks like they hate working there, and luckily, the staff here seem to enjoy their job. How could you not in such a bright and uplifting establishment! All in all, a great experience. I recently moved to Doral from Broward County and have been exploring the nearby areas for regular restaurants and cafes to go to. My experience here was nice but I was a little underwhelmed about my milkshake that took almost 10 to 15 minutes to be made. I wanted something fun and fancy so I got the unicorn, which was a vanilla ice cream base with pink dye, sprinkles on the outside, a lollipop, and a unicorn straw.....but it could've totally been strawberry ice cream instead (duh) or even like a cotton candy, that would've given it a little more pizazz, but it was a mediocre vanilla shake that took way too long. Vibrant colors everywhere, plus pink LOTS of pink, candy, toys, & of course - ice cream & more pink. Half the shop is an ice cream parlor & the other is a candy store / bakery ? ( the have candy apples, brownies, cookies, macaroons). They sell toys as well their walls are filled with stuffed animals, pop it's, back packs, etc. Their menu is filled with delicious choices including some originals & interesting sizing as well ( I promise they have a choice called "the sink" ). We each got something different. I had butter pecan scoops on a chocolate dipped cone, My daughter got this amazing cookie dough one, my hubby got the s'mores sundae, & my son decided on chocolate ice cream with gummies & sprinkles. I wish they would have announced that the egg hunt was going to begin, many children didn't get to hunt for any eggs. Inside the parlor is kept very clean, everything well organized. There are colors everywhere. You will feel as if you were warped into Wreck it Ralph's sugar rush hahahaha. Last awesomeness, when you lock the bathroom door the big window located in front of the toilet blurs out, and when you unlock the door it becomes transparent again haha, very cool trick. read more

I was trying to figure out what made this place special and what was the best items on the menu to try. I wasn't really sold on anything but I decided to go with a New item signage that promoted Hot Bombs its a scoop of ice cream incased in a doughnut puff. They sliced the doughnut puff then placed it on a doughnut puff maker skillet scooped a ice cream ball in the center and closed the skillet and flipped it. Placed the warm Puff on a plate and decorated with bananas and nutella. A new item on the menu but I don't recommend it. I like the idea but the taste is not the best. I like nutella with banana but the doughnut & Ice cream were missing something it tasted stale. My total for this dessert was $12.94 I'd go back but to taste something else. This one choice I'd take a hard pass on. read more
