Rocket Fizz was founded Ryan Morgan and Rob Powells who started their business by selling fake dog poo and other novelties. There are also stores in Wesley Chapel and Clearwater along with 90 other Rocket Fizz stores. This store is their first in South Florida and it recently opened in The Falls in Miami near Macy's. Rocket Fizz is famous for the 500 kinds of soda which include traditional flavors like root beer, birch beer, and cream soda, along with more out there flavors like s'mores, enchilada, mustard, coffee, bacon with chocolate, fungal fruit, dinosaur dung, ranch, buffalo wing, and many more. The birthday cake soda would make the perfect gift for anyone celebrating their special day. This would be five stars for the soda selection alone but that is not all they sell. They are also the purveyor of every kind of candy imaginable. Nostalgic favorites are on the shelf along with the latest and greatest. In addition to the candy they also sell novelty items and signs. This store is so fun. You can give a gift that brings back a childhood memory or give something they have never seen before. The only downside is the merch is pricey. A few treats can add up fast. Still I'm glad that Rocket Fizz has finally made its way to South Florida for that one of a kind treat.

This place would be ideal for getting candies that will be used to decorate cakes or fill jars for a candy station or party favors. Or maybe you just want to eat several pounds of one flavor of jelly beans; no one will judge you. They do have some individually packaged candies, gum, lollipops, a variety of candy cane flavors, etc. They also have a refrigerated room with high quality chocolates for melting and other chocolates (candy bars, chocolate pastry shells...). The best savings are on the bulk packages that are meant to be distributed by the customer into other containers or onto cakes. The individually packaged items (rock candy on a stick, flavored candy canes, candy that comes in toy dispensers, small tubs of cotton candy) are around the same price you'd find elsewhere; for those items they don't have big discounts, but it's easier to find a variety of flavors/colors here.

While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon
