So I grew up with the old location and had mixed feelings about going to the new one, to be honest. But I was happy to know the taste and recipe are the same. I enjoyed an outing with my cousins here and treated myself to a dozen rolls and a vanilla shake. There's space to just hang out, enjoy some other sweet treats available by a food truck, and sit down on benches. Leashed doggies we're here to accompany and made some friends along the way. The menu has stayed the same with pies, rolls, and breads. Not all veggies are available they use to have but still the mos5 "popular" veggies remain. They still seperate the baked items from the shakes and drinks. I came on a weekend and there was practically no line which was unusual for me but appreciated. I heard a lot of great things about this place so I was excited to finally come and try it. Upon getting there I thought it was cute, but honestly I am not sure where all of the hype stems from. We waited 40 min in line on a random Thursday to try their cinnamon rolls. While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. These cinnamon buns are famous for a reason!! I'm sad i havent had a chance to pop over to the farm yet, but one of our company reps brought in a few dozen to the office. Yay! I was in the area and figured I would pop over to the new Knaus Berry Farm for some cinnamon rolls. I was pleasantly surprised that on a Saturday morning at 11 AM there were only a few people in line. I walked out with three dozen cinnamon rolls in less than 10 minutes. I came on on a Friday evening at 2pm and there was no line to get cinnamon rolls. I bought a half of dozen for $8.90. I also bought cheese bread as well. They sell pies and shakes. I love the beautiful rainbow Eucalyptus tree that is in the eating area. The cinnamon rolls are always super warm and delicious. I haven't been to Knaus berry farm new location which is located in Krome. I went on a Friday afternoon and there was barely no line. We only had two people in front of us. We ordered the famous cinnamon roll. We purchased a 1/2 dozen which was $8.90. They accept cash and credit card now. I was chatting with one of the employe and she said always come during the week the line is never really that bad. Knaus berry farm is open everyday except on Mondays from 8:00- 5:30 pm. Delicious cinnamon rolls! You do have to wait quite a bit but it's worth it. And once you get there, you get your order super quick. They also have a stand for shakes, coffees, and sundaes. Other than cinnamon rolls they have pies, breads, and fresh veggies. I will come back again! Make sure to bring a hat or umbrella if you're going to be standing in line. After hearing about this farm from my parents who used to visit 25years ago I decided to look it up and took the trip after a visit to the Miami Zoo. It's about 25 minutes from the zoo and worth the drive through many farms. We stopped and picked up a back of fresh cinnamon rolls and while they didn't have much for produce at the time called it a win and drove the hour+ back home... for 1 hour we smelled freshly baked cinnamon rolls and herb rolls. We arrived home and each had one and saved the rest for the week. The cinnamon rolls are similar to monkey bread with sticky outside and a soft inside and are worth the drive. Frozen Cinnamon Rolls? What?! Went to check out Knaus Berry Farm under the new ownership. I was lucky there was no big line! I was craving their cinnamon rolls with a key lime smoothie. Went to get the smoothie but they don't have that flavor so I picked a coffee smoothie and it was delicious! My surprise was when I went to get the cinnamon rolls. Went to their new location under new management and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The store itself is nice and we went around 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday. The biggest issue was the line. It was about three hours long and there is zero shade, so you are standing in direct sun the entire time. Definitely bring an umbrella or something if you go during peak hours. There is a milkshake trailer outside which helps while waiting, but it is still a long wait. The food itself was delicious. I tried the cheese bread and the herb rolls and the herb rolls were especially good. The quality is just as good as the old location. That said, I am not sure the food is worth a three hour wait. Hopefully once the hype dies down the lines become more manageable, because if that happens I would definitely come back more often. This is an overdue review as I've been to Knaus Berry Farm before at the original location before they moved. First: tip, definitely stop by on a weekday, as the lines grow longer on weekends. Also, if you plan on milkshakes or soft serve, get it after you go on the line for the main attractions (the cinnamon rolls and other treats). I ordered a couple things and also grabbed a small pina colada shake which was so good! It had a nice blend of pineapple and coconut and even though it wasn't too hot out, it was super refreshing. So most people come here for the cinnamon rolls, and they are amazing. If you're looking for ones with cream cheese icing, they don't have that, but, sometimes when they partner with other places like Sergio's, they have guava rolls with icing. Definitely worth the drive, and bonus, to get away from traffic, just drive north all the way on Krome. read more

Try the herb bread hot and fresh. That is an experience worth driving an hour for. Even the chocolate chip cookies deserve praise, not because they are the best in the word but because they are intentionally made and a consistently delicious treat. The cinnamon rolls aren't the star but if you wanted my honest opinion they are good. But not the best in the world that you need to plan your entire day around them. I do love the charm of going to a farm and snacking on bread next to strawberry fields. But it also does suffer a bit from the great amount of attention it gets. The line is usually always long even at 8 am right when they open. And there are just so many other games and things to eat in the area that it's a shame this is the only place people stop. The staff is amazing. I waited in line only to find out they do not take cash. The cashier allowed me to get cash at a local ATM and come back to see him so I didn't have to wait in line again. If you are looking for strawberries - those top quality, perfect strawberries that were grown in the patch behind the old house, get ready for a big disappointment. Those days are gone, and it appears from what I saw and heard, gone forever. They are getting their berries from other farms/plots in the area, so no more pick your own or walk around the nearby plot to see them grow. This place is over an hour drive for me, and after calling the day before and being told they would have some, I drove an hour for nothing. Yes the weather is unpredictable and uncooperative, but back in the old place I would call the day before and it was 100% reliable answer when they said they would have berries the next day or not. There were plenty of weird weather years back then. They would hold a whole box for me for the next morning! The new folks cannot tell you for sure if they will have berries the next DAY. If you are like 99% of the people and just want rolls and shakes, then read other reviews that will give you that current info. Yes, they used to be good in the old place, but I did not buy any this time - it was never the main reason for me to go there. It's Knaus BERRY farm after all, not the better-than-Cinnabon-place. All I can tell you about rolls and shakes is there was zero line Friday mid morning. Sadly too - No shade, no trees to sit under, just barren, hard baked gravel and the burning sun. As a lifelong devotee of Knaus Berry Farm, I can assure you that nothing about these has changed. The cinnamon rolls were ooey, gooey and dense. The sugary glaze was just as shimmery and sweet; the toasted cinnamon flavor, just as robust. Ok I'll start with the bad....long wait times , porta potties and non acceptance of credit cards in this day and age. Now for the good ... milkshakes are so good and creamy and if you get a strawberry one you can taste the fresh fruit. Both the pecan Rolls and cinnamon rolls are so delicious served warm and fresh. My only regret was I didn't have some cold milk to go with it. Will I return? You bet I will... because I would like to get more rolls, pick tomatoes and strawberries. Got these in for a work event, first time trying the cinnamon rolls and they are pretty darn good! I don't live near Homestead area so timing on when to get these can be strategic. Took some advice from a coworker when coming here. If you come on a weekend, best to just show up before they open and get in line. If you come on a weekday, come after 10am and the line will be shorter and the process will be fairly quick. A dozen cinnamon rolls is $16. They are made on-site, I liked them, not overly sugary, not that gooey, just a good homemade style cinnamon roll. You know how to do it....slowly peel those layers off and enjoy! Be sure to check out their online menu so you know what to get when you arrive, they offer a few other items so that may pique your interest.
