What a great little spot! We recently discovered it during our annual Homestead exploration and…read morewere immediately welcomed by our server, Ruth, who shared the history of the restaurant and even let us sample their homemade honey. We had breakfast--steak, eggs, hot Cuban toast with butter, and café con leche--and we were stuffed by the time we left. Absolutely delicious. There's also a small, kid-friendly playground further into the property that requires a fee to enter, but we didn't check it out this time--maybe next visit. Head over to By Brothers for breakfast. It's amazing!

I'm always hesitant about going to places that have live animals due to treatment reasons. I want…read morethe animals to be well taken care of and not in horrible conditions. I'd say about 65%-75% were in reasonable enclosures. I will say some of the animals, especially the one camel by itself with the cows was really picking on the cows and it made me feel so bad for them being chased around a small space. There was also a gator that had lacerations on its arm, and there were way too many in one small enclosure. They had an opportunity for you to take pictures with two baby gators, but they literally just had them sitting in a tank with tape on their mouth and it was maybe a 40 gallon tank which is what I keep my pet lizard in by himself. If I could, I'd give a 3.5 stars because it was still an interesting experience,, there was a lot of things to see and a lot of stuff to do. We did paintball we wrote on the train. We checked out all the animals the fish and I think my favorite part was the aviary. All the birds were able to roam freely and were following us around to see if we had food. as far as cost, it's a really accessible price and you have access to a lot of different things, but I do question the animal treatment.

So I grew up with the old location and had mixed feelings about going to the new one, to be honest…read more But I was happy to know the taste and recipe are the same. I enjoyed an outing with my cousins here and treated myself to a dozen rolls and a vanilla shake. There's space to just hang out, enjoy some other sweet treats available by a food truck, and sit down on benches. Leashed doggies we're here to accompany and made some friends along the way. The menu has stayed the same with pies, rolls, and breads. Not all veggies are available they use to have but still the mos5 "popular" veggies remain. They still seperate the baked items from the shakes and drinks. I came on a weekend and there was practically no line which was unusual for me but appreciated. The smells, tasted, and feels are still the same. I'm glad someone took over but kept the tradition.

I heard a lot of great things about this place so I was excited to finally come and try it. Upon…read moregetting there I thought it was cute, but honestly I am not sure where all of the hype stems from. We waited 40 min in line on a random Thursday to try their cinnamon rolls. While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon

This place is a hidden gem. OMG! I was surrounded by delicious fruits just dangling all over. If…read moreyou like fresh Longan and mango and you wish to see them on the tree and be able to pick them yourself this is the place! I called prior to arrival which you MUST do. The owner answered my call within 2 ring. She spoke English that I understood well and she was friendly and helpful. I forgot her name but both she and her husband came out to greet us and a couple other families. She pointed us to some buckets with wheels and gave us a cutter. She will also weigh the fruits for you. She is very fair with her prices. It's easy to get carried away and pick 20-30lbs of fruits but for just the 2 of us, we hauled out 13lbs of Longan. Yippee!! There's other fruits too such as bananas, sugar apples, jackfruit, mango, milk fruit but sadly they weren't ready yet. They do allow you to walk around on your own and take photos which was a lot of fun if it hadn't been so hot & humid. Do bring plenty of water. Maybe a bottle of spray water if you have it. Leave your purse in the car so you can be hands free. Spray some mosquito spray and sun screen if you aren't used to Florida weather. Otherwise have fun!!
