Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and absolutely loved everything. The music is Indian perfection, I'm obsessed with the wallpaper, and our waitress who I think might also be the owner was amazing. We shared the garlic naan, vegetable samosas, aloo gobi, and chicken korma. Every single dish was delicious. Already excited to go back, and the fact that it's walking distance makes it even better.

Namaste Restaurant is spectacular! I had ordered the Namaste Experience (it is recommended for 2 people so it's great for date nights) it is definitely worth trying. Especially for somebody wanting to try a variety of different Indian dishes / curries. The server Aku is very friendly and insightful when it comes to the menu, helping you pick out the perfect options for your liking / taste. This is also a family owned business so you know they take pride in their service and food. Totally awesome and worth trying out!!! I'll definitely be going back :) Ordered the Namaste Experience and choose the following: Chicken Tikka Masala, Rogan Josh w/ Lamb, Aloo Gobi, Shrimp Coastal Curry, Malai Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Pakora

After spending a beautiful day at Bayside Marketplace, we were ready for a good dinner and searched for nearby options. We came across Namaste Miami, a restaurant offering Indian cuisine, and decided to give it a try. It was about a 20-minute drive, and we were lucky to find convenient roadside parking near the restaurant. First Impressions: When we entered Namaste Miami, the place wasn't too crowded, which initially made us hesitant about our choice. However, we decided to stay, and we're so glad we did! It turned out to be a hidden gem with fantastic food and great service. The Dining Experience: We began our meal by ordering some basic and infant-friendly options for our little one, including Yellow Dal and rice. For ourselves, we chose appetizers like Chilli Chicken and Chicken Tikka. The Yellow Dal and Rice arrived quickly, and it was exactly what we hoped for--light, flavorful, and homemade. It was perfect for our infant, who happily enjoyed every bite. Then came the appetizers, starting with the Chilli Chicken--and wow, it was exceptional! The chicken was perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of spices and flavors that made it absolutely mouthwatering. We devoured it so quickly that we ended up ordering another plate! Chicken Tikka was equally delicious, with tender, marinated pieces of chicken cooked to perfection. For the main course, we chose Chicken Kadhai, Chicken Biryani, and Garlic Naan. The service was efficient, and our dishes arrived promptly. The Chicken Kadhai was rich, flavorful, and cooked with a delightful blend of spices. The Biryani was aromatic, with well-cooked rice and succulent pieces of chicken, and the Garlic Naan complemented the dishes perfectly. Every bite was satisfying and left us craving more. Sweet Endings: To finish our meal, we indulged in some classic Indian desserts--Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. Both were absolutely delicious! The Gulab Jamun was soft and soaked in syrup, while the Rasmalai was creamy, light, and a perfect way to end the meal. Final Thoughts: Namaste Miami exceeded our expectations with its flavorful dishes, great service, and cozy ambiance. The food was mouthwatering, finger-licking good, and satisfying from start to finish. While the restaurant may not have been bustling with crowds when we arrived, it turned out to be a fantastic choice, and we're so glad we stayed.

What a sweet lil mom n pop Indian restaurant. I thought I knew of ALL the Indian spots, but this slipped my radar, until today. The service was fast and friendly. My friend and I decided to have their unlimited thali vegetarian dish. You receive a butter nan, basmati rice, a lentil soup, and two other vegetable dishes, as well as a pudding. Everything was delicious and had that homemade Indian feel and touch to it. You are allowed to get additional for no extra charge if you want to. I also tried an Indian chai tea, which was very pleasant. I would and will visit again.

Just had an awesome meal here! The paneer and dal makhini were super tasty, perfectly spiced and so creamy. I also tried the coastal chicken curry, which had amazing flavor and was cooked just right. The food here is great. The ambiance was casual not bad, there was only one bathroom which was kind of small, but the service was good. I'll be back for more.

Went here with some friends to hang out and eat. Service was really good and the food was so good I forgot to take a pic before we were done. I had a tikka misala cause I'm basic with naan (tried Garlic, butter, and bullet which is their spicy naan), a desert that reminds me of papa rellena (basically like a potato ball), Tandoori chicken, some lamb. Basically we all shared different things. For the saucy things like the tikka masala you can choose spicy level from 1-5. I love spicy so mind what ill say next but i found it to be the perfect level of spice and flavoir. I did get a runny nose cause of it but it comes with the territory. When you eat in as a group it's almost unlimited rice to accompany your sauce as we otriginally got a bowl and we were able to ask for additional without extra charge when we finished it. They have beer available which I didn't have but my friends did and loved it. I don't remember the name but it's indian and comes in a big beer. This place overall is great and I recommend it.

Chicken Lollypop. Looked intense yet room temperature and bland.

I've always loved Indian food and when I heard great things about Namaste in Coral Gables it was immediately on my "Gotta Try List". It's a small place around the block from the Target. Parking is all on the street. They have one small table outside and inside they have about 12-15 tables so it's nothing huge. I was excited to try their Thali and even though its on their website and also I called prior to going and they confirmed that it was being offered during dinner...when I got there and asked they told me no that's it's only during lunch. So my wife and I decided to go with some other choices. As we asked about some of the dishes we felt rushed and the server was not very helpful. We asked about appetizers and he directed us to main dishes. And even when we reaffirmed these were mains he insisted they were appetizers. He even left us mid questions to take another tables order. It didn't seem he wanted to deal with us at all. Regardless we ordered. As we waited for the food I noticed from across the dining room someone eating the Thali that I was told no on. Well that was insulting. But then as we sat waiting for our food we were then asked to move to another table because they needed our table for a large party. Which by the way never arrived the whole time we were there. As for the food, we had the Butter Chicken, Mango Curry Chicken, Chicken Tenders for Little Man and Chicken Lollypops for appetizers. The Chicken Lollypops were confusing. They came out steaming yet when I bit into them they were room temperature. And although they were covered in Indian Barbecue and other spices they were quite bland. The Chicken Tenders for my kid were oddly cut in half but only on some and not others. Didn't come with fries it was just chicken strips. As for our mains, the Butter Chicken and Mango Chicken Curry were both delicious. The chicken was very tender and the heat level was just right. We were both pleased. But we were unsure why we had to pay an additional $4 for choosing chicken. I get maybe shrimp or steak but chicken? The Chicken Tenders were $10 and didnt even come with fries?!? And while on the topic of pricing, I had to chuckle when the bill came and the starting suggested tip percentage was 20%. Sir. Please. Lol. Either way, I'm giving the place 3 stars mostly on the basis of their main dishes which were really good. But many things just didn't go right and overall the experience wasn't great. I might go back during lunch hours to check out their Thali but I probably need some time to get the bad taste out of my mouth on this experience.

It is bewildering that any restaurant putting out delicious spicy food (Namaste Special Spicy Goat Curry, Spicy Chicken Biryani, Avocado Bhel, Garlic Naan, Bullet Naan) would back that up with mediocre service. Perhaps that was a one off on that night, Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Yet the less than engaging service for our party of four and the dimly lit interior made more of an impression than the fantastic food, the spicy food. To wind the evening down we ordered more of our faves, Gulab Jamun and Kulfi. Despite the less than stellar service we were not about to leave without trying the deserts. The Chicken Biryani portion was generous, spicy, succulent. I did not have the Goat Curry. However my friend who has that on his top three Indian dishes, raved about how its tenderness and complete spice. The Bullet Naan is perfect! Obviously some food was taken to go. Another service observation that struck me was when we received plastic bags to carry our remaining meal to go whereas diners at adjoining tables were provided brown bags. For four persons with 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 portions of Naan and 2 deserts can come upto $110.

My only complain is that the naan would be softer. Be aware that a lot of the food do pack some heat, as they have many Indian customers and cater to the authentic taste. You can add some mint chutney to take off the heat a bit, and dishes like the birayni and butter chicken do not pack any heat. Yum, just writing this review makes me want to go back already. And I am definitely checking out their other events. They are quite active on IG so you can check their offerings there.

It was about 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon. It was surprising that the restaurant was empty. As I was reading the menu in the window, a young woman asked if I would like to come in and read the menu. The restaurant is not large, but very nicely decorated. The young lady was part of the family owned restaurant and we had a very interesting conversation while I waited for my food. I ordered chicken tikka, mild, rosemary nan, and raita. The chicken was absolutely deliciously marinated in a variety of fresh spices and herbs, and tenderized by soaking in milk. It was prepared in a tandoori oven, at least it was under the 'tandoori' listing on menu. The flavor was wonderful and melted in my mouth. Everything was so good, even the fresh brewed tea. I can't wait to go back. The pricing is also very reasonable. My experience was even nicer as I got to converse with another family member about their business and Indian cuisine in general. I live in Fort Lauderdale, and probably won't be able to travel down as often as I would like, but I honestly highly recommend Swagat if you like Indian food!

I had a very long workday yesterday, so Larry S. offered to order food for me to pick up on my way home. Naturally, I said ,"Let's try Swagat!". He placed the order online. As I was driving to the restaurant, he followed up that there was a $5 online ordering fee and then someone from the restaurant repeatedly called to advise that they were out of one of the items we ordered. So, we did not start off on the right foot. It was unclear if there was parking (they are next to Tacos vs. Burritos and there is parking lot in between the two restaurants, but it's not clear if the parking is for one restaurant or the other); however, I was able to get a street spot right in front. The food was supposed to be ready at 6:15, and it was! Inside, there was only one table occupied and the door was locked, which was kind of odd. The proprietor came and unlocked it and advised the food would be ready in a few minutes - it was! He explained that they just set up online ordering and there was not supposed to be a charge for that, so he handed me the $5 back and apologized profusely! Say what?! Already I was liking the customer service here! We ordered the following: Lasuni Gobi - Indo - Chinese crispy cauliflower in a garlicky coating KFC - Kerala style fried chicken Kebab Tasting - assortment of kebabs Fish Curry - Goan style Two types of naan - butter and garlic Basmati rice Everything was fantastic! Super flavorful; we ordered it medium hot and could have gone a little hotter, but it's always best to be conservative to start as spicing is subjective. For me, the stand out was the fish curry and the fish kebab. The Gobi didn't travel well and was not crispy at all by the time I got it home. Larry really liked the fried chicken. The crisp stood up to the travel time! The dinner pricing is on the high side, but it was totally worth it as the food was not at all greasy or heavy, and the spicing was delicate and nuanced. My only complaint was that the portion sizes were a little small. For a $120 order, it would have been nice to have leftovers. It looks like they have a good lunch special, plus, they have a $60 tasting menu that looks fire, so we are definitely going back! In all, I thought the food and the customer service were really fantastic and I will always welcome another Indian option!
