If you enjoy high quality Indian Food served in a location with a unique vibe and excellent service then look no further than Bombay Darbar's Doral location, where you can tell from the moment you walk in that Alejandro, the manager, takes pride in the food and service provided by his chef and staff (Zulfie, Daniel, Laila and Guiller all make sure your visit a memorable one). If you are brunch person like I am you should definitely visit them on a Sunday for their epic brunch filled with high quality items, including fruit, desserts and made to order crepes that are amazing! If you are new to trying Indian food then their buffet is definitely for you, because it allows you to freely taste various traditional dishes as well as appetizers, cold drinks and desserts without the stress of choosing just one dish. I promise it won't be your last time visiting them.
First time visiting. Lunch specials are just right. It's like getting a sample of the main entrees. I believe they range from $15 to $20. Includes dessert or salad. Had the garlic nan bread with tamarind to dip. I had the chicken tikka masala and my wife had the lamb. Service was excellent. Ambiance cozy and relaxing. Nice crowd for lunch. Definitely going back.
I came again today and tried their lunch special thali. I had the chicken tikka masala. Everything was really tasty. Service was fast and pleasant. They always ask you for a spice level. The decor was pleasant.
We stopped in on Valentine's Day evening... without a reservation. Eek. But, they were able to seat us outside. I wish I could remember our server's name because he was outstanding. Service was super quick. We ordered several vegetarian dishes and they were all incredible. We love Indian food, and this was a great spice level and the flavors just melded perfectly together. It's a little upscale, but fine for families, too. The mutter paneer was the standout dish. It was mouthwateringly good. If I had one gripe, it's that one order of naan only comes with four pieces-- basically just one round cut into four. For our family of three, we definitely needed two orders. Props to our server for giving us that heads up, and also, maybe make the orders larger.
Bombay Darbar in Doral is such a beautiful restaurant inside. The ambiance feels elegant and upscale but still comfortable. It's definitely a nice spot for a date night or dinner with friends. Service was great from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and helpful when it came to explaining spice levels and menu options. I ordered the butter chicken medium spice and it was absolutely delicious. I was a little worried it might be too spicy, but it was perfect. Just enough kick to be flavorful without overpowering the dish. The sauce was rich and creamy and paired so well with the rice and naan. The food platters were tasty, but the portions came out a bit smaller than I expected. Still good quality, just not as large as I imagined. Parking is street parking, which can take a little patience depending on the time you go. Overall, great ambiance, great service, and really solid Indian food. I would definitely come back
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been too. The mahoo paneer is an absolute must have. We got our staple saag paneer which was great and the aloo gobi which again was excellent. But the star for me was the mahoo paneer. Vegetarians would be very happy coming here for the selection. The naan was great to have. For 3 people, one order would probably be enough.
I love coming here! Great service, lovely ambiance, and great food. We ordered various plates and shared family style: chilli chicken, lamb roganjosh, chicken tikka, and tandoori chicken and with lamb. For dessert, we got the nutella naan from the kids menu. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the tandoori lamb was next level. Will definitely return to have that! The chilli chicken was also really delicious and very memorable. I wish i had taken more pictures- i got too excited and forgot! But will continue returning to this lovely restaurant.
Food amazing like usually .Our waiter Sebastian super profesional and nice . Alejandro is the manager and always is very professional . Our preferred place to eat . Súper recomendable
I will most definitely be coming back. My friend from Hyderabad, India took me here. She got the HOT chicken korma (I didn't even try) because my order was a MILD butter chicken. She also ordered naan and I went with rice to accompany. I have had pretty good butter chicken but this was probably the best I've had. The mild had enough "spice" but was not spicy. The rice was flavored very well. The server was amazing and accommodating with answering all the questions. The vibes are boujee but you don't have to be dressed the part. My friend who has tried other Indian places around said the prices are cheap comparably. I found out you can quickly order pick up which I will probably do frequently, the take out bags are insulated!!
This place has a great ambiance and very good service. It was a weekday when I went and it was pretty empty. I had the Paneer Tikka and the samosa chaat which was delicious but the bang bang shrimp was amazing. For main we ordered the chicken tikka masala which was my favorite, butter chicken, mango chicken curry, which was super sweet, and the lamb ragonjosh which was so tender and delicious. All came with rice and I ordered the garlic naan which is a must.
Stopped by for a lunch meeting and I absolutely love their lunch special. There are several options to choose from and it's reasonably priced. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh with a salad to keep it light, but I may opt for the dessert next time because I love their rice pudding. My lunch partner had the chicken tika Masala and raved about it. I'll definitely be back soon! 5 stars and highly recommended.
Came here excited to try their lunch specials. For 2 people, we shared the traditional thali (lamb roganjosh) and the Bombay salad (tandoor chicken) lunch specials. They were definitely sizeable. Loved the variety of the traditional thali--came with our protein, dal soup, mini samosa, 3 pieces of naan, rice, and dessert (rice pudding when we came). The lamb was tender and flavorful. The Bombay salad also had a generous portion of greens and the tandoor chicken breast was moist/flavorful as well. The mango lassi was standard good, can't go wrong with it. Service was very attentive and they're used to people sharing the plates. Plenty of seating available inside when we came. Parking is PayByPhone street parking or you can pay in the nearby garages. Overall great quality and value for weekday lunch specials. Would definitely consider coming back.
So I'm not a fan of Indian food, but my sister wanted me to try this place. We got the Butter chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Tikka Masala, garlic and cheese naan. I'd say my favorite was the butter chicken and tikka masala. The lamb Vindaloo was ok, just too spicy for my taste even at the lowest level. I did enjoy the cheese and garlic naan a lot!!
I've always heard good things about the original in the Grove but never went, fortunately for me they opened up this location near where I work and they have an excellent lunch menu, so I was able to convince my co-worker to give Indian food another try, previous experience in other places left him mostly unimpressed. He is now a believer. My Lamb Pasanda was rich and flavorful, and so was everything else on the Thali. Service was also excellent, the upscale ambiance without the upscale pricing makes this a must re-do. Yup, I'm going to say it, Bombay Darbar is dar bomb. read more
I saw that they had a brunch buffet special for $30 on Instagram and knew that I had to give it a try . I booked for two on Sunday. It got really busy. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The curries were delicious. They also have a crepe station and juice drinks included with the buffet . Service was excellent. Was helped by Layla. I am definitely come back here for the buffet. Highly recommend . read more

I have always loved Bombay at Coconut Grove so I was so excited to hear about the Doral location as it is closer to me. It was just as good as expected! I loved it! You just cannot go wrong here. My favorite is the lamb biryani!! But everything is wonderful here and the service is top notch. What I also appreciate about Bombay is they have reasonable prices compared to a lot of places these days! So be sure to check it out because you will not regret it. Some of my favs are chicken tikka masala or butter chicken, samosas, and of course any naan! read more
The place was really beautiful inside and when I got there the to go bag maintained the food hot and was stylish Got the paneer makhani and the garlic banana-- both were absolutely delicious-- so delicious I ate all of it .. and now im soo stuffed ... drank it down with a mango lassi The waitresses inside were sweet too read more
What an absolute gem! I have spent the past 8 years looking for a place to enjoy a thali, then we stumbled upon this place and I couldn't be happier. We've had takeout from this place, and after eating at the restaurant itself I can conclude that it is SOLID. The food we had was absolutely delicious (both as takeout and dining in) and everyone there was friendly and attentive. Their butter chicken was delicious and what I love is that the portions were reasonably priced, fresh, and delicious. This place puts love into what they do and the people they serve. I loved that Alejandro took the time to come to our table to check on us even though he wasn't our server. He even showed us the traditional way to eat the thali (putting all the items from the little bowls all onto the bigger tray). We appreciated this little tip. During takeout I also loved that they had reusable special bags to help keep the food warm (a small detail that goes a long way). Be sure to visit during lunch time on weekdays to enjoy a Thali. It is an excellent opportunity to taste a little bit of everything. read more

My friends have been here before and say it's good. I went for the first time with them and ordered the lamb chop masala. It's was dry. I ate one and half pieces and that was it. One of the waiters made a joke and says that he thought I could handle the food. Guess he thought I stopped cause of the spice. It's wasn't even hot cause I ordered mild. I told him no it was dry. Then asked if I wanted a box. No I don't. read more

Went to the new Doral location last week for happy hour/dinner and could not have asked for a better experience. The drinks were on point and pretty strong, actually. Very good indian food. One of the best Indian spots in all of South florida. They have several locations and I'm glad they have one closer to me now. The aloo Tikka chaat was amazing and flavorful. The lamb briyani is a good size serving, enough for even 3 people. Very flavorful and one of the best briyani, I've had. The lamb Rogan Josh was also good. The service was impeccable. And they were very attentive even with such a huge party. They were accommodating with all the requests. Overall, I would definetly come back here again to try the other menu options read more
What an absolutely amazing location! Bombay Darbar is such a great Indian Restaurant. Have gone to Coconut Grove many times, but recently discovered one located just down the road from me. What a great location. Located on the corner in downtown Doral. Excellent seating. Tables are set very nicely. The staff was fantastic including the management team. From having our beverages consistent filled to the complimentary treat to start, excellent Vegetable samosas, and incredible dinner Butter Chicken and Korma Chicken. The flavors are on point. The butter chicken had a rich butter aroma and the korma chicken has just the right amount of spice. Both dishes were severed hot and with unlimited rice which was flavored and cooked to perfection. The garlic Naan....wow! Absolutely delicious. Could have ordered more it was so good. I am highly impressed with this location. It was much quieter than the other location too which is a great welcome. Overall, I highly recommend this location. I'm looking forward to going back very soon. read more

Absolutely amazing Indian food, quality and taste were there and the portions were perfect. I ordered the chicken lunch special which consisted of the dal soup, a mini samosa, (I upgraded for $2) garlic naan, basmati rice, a salad, and chicken tikka masala. The food was incredibly good, words don't do justice. We had a mango lassi to wash the food down, my first time having one, and I now need one on a weekly basis. Restaurant was spacious! Plenty of seating. Had an amazing time! read more
