Not bad for an all you can eat dimsum spot. Definitely not every food we got was good but the ones that we did like is whats making us come back again next time. I would say though do not get any of the noodle items. Stick to the actual steamed dimsum items. The service was really good!

They're in their soft opening still I think or just opened They're on pleasant Hill road by volcano sushi (attached to it) They share parking with volcano but it's a pretty big lot esp with the spots behind the building We came with a group of 4+baby today and they did seem to struggle with the volume. The wait was 20-30 mins to be seated but also to receive each order and then to place a new order took quite a long time. I think our lunch took several hours in total, most of it just waiting for food, table or server The staff seemed overwhelmed and like they had too many tables / assignments The food was pretty good, better than I expected for the price for sure I really appreciated the picture menu because some of the English descriptions were difficult to decipher what they were The custard buns were all delicious. Most of them have a liquid salted egg custard inside and buns were great! The sesame balls were great. I wasn't crazy about the egg custard tart - very buttery - but it wasn't bad. Nobody will compare to family baking on Buford hwy lol We tried the black tonkatsu and it was too smoky for me but the small size made it easy to try amongst other dishes! The Chinese greens were great - nice texture and flavor. We liked the garlic best Hargao was good - cooked well and soft shell The sticky rice with pork was ok, kinda sour to me. We also did not love the soup dumplings - some smelled weird and dough was thick but not much soup inside They gave us an order of shrimp & chive dumplings literally uncooked and my friend was so confused as she bit into it COLD and clear shrimp pieces inside The Cheung fun was soft but not much flavor but tbh I just like rice noodles so I added sauce and ate it with the little salad shrimps haha The beef Cheung fun tasted too much like curry to me and I wasn't into it The mochi taro was meh. The shell was crispy and chewy but no filling hardly. I should've taken a pic but it was like a teaspoon They really struggled with the volume so hopefully that gets better but we liked it overall

Trying AYCE Dim Sum in Duluth today. Yummy overall but service was slow and many of our orders never came so we had to reorder, and still some never came. Pay cash to pay $26.99 instead of $28.99 pp. Favorites were Har Gao and Dan Ta. Shrimp Cheung Fun was my least favorite using TINY baby salad shrimp with no shrimp flavor. Good variety and decent overall other than the SLOW and FORGETFUL service.

Came for AYCE dim sum and had a great time! For $25.99/person, it's a great deal. I enjoyed classics like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and egg tarts, everything was hot and fresh. The Snow Mountain Custard Bun was a standout, it was super creamy inside. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely coming back!

    Our first spread

The dim sum itself was standard fair dim sum, but the price point was great! For $25 (if you pay in cash, $27 of you pay with card) is hard to beat! The soup dumplings were really good! The lady who served us was super nice, and took care of us. The Ambiance was a little weird, cause it's directly connect to a Hibachi place, and the wall that divided the two spaces was made out of glass, so you can see right into the restaurant next door. Most likely the owner runs both establishments. But I wasn't that bothered by it. I would recommend, because of the "bang for your buck" aspect. If u like dim sum, and can eat a lot of it, then this is a good place to go. If you are a Dim Sum snob, and are willing to pay premium prices for glorified dumplings...then you can pass.

An all you can eat dim sum place, I had my suspicions but they all were removed when I had my first taste of the xiao long bao (not sure if the spelling), soupy pork dumplings and the Ha Gao (again spelling). Like always I ordered the chrysanthemum tea, a must. This place gives you the option to either pay for AYCE or by the item. As you can see I have no photos since I enjoyed the dishes as soon as they came. The service was awesome. The staff always diligent of making sure you are satisfied. Just know that some dishes take a bit longer to come out since they are making a lot the portions fresh! Super plus! This place is attached to a teppanyaki location. Don't enter the door on the left but on the right, although you are able to go from one restaurant to the other. It is a smaller location than most places that serve dim sum but it has the feel of a local authentic Cantonese restaurant. This is worth the drive to Duluth.

Royal China - Disappointing Experience…read more We have been coming to Royal China every year as part of our Christmas tradition, and we've always loved their Peking duck. Unfortunately, this year's experience was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible. We waited 40 minutes just to get our drinks, and after placing our food order, we waited another hour and a half with no food arriving. We were repeatedly told that the food was "coming soon," but nothing came. For reference, we ordered very simple dishes -- green beans, cauliflower, and eggplant -- items that should not take over an hour to prepare. Eventually, the duck arrived after an hour and a half, but none of the side dishes came with it. We had to speak to the manager three separate times, and the staff was rude and dismissive throughout the experience. The restaurant is very authentic, and we were clearly in the minority as guests, but that should never justify such poor service. Sadly, our five-year tradition of spending Christmas here was completely ruined. If you decide to visit this restaurant, be aware that the service can be extremely disappointing.

There are some differences to how menu items are made/taste from when I first had it, so I feel as though the chef has most likely changed. It's both good and bad because the menu items with taro aren't quite as nice as before, but other things are either the same or better like the Beef Ho Fun for example. The chicken feet have changed too, but both were good. All the classic items are still basically the same. I liked the pan fried chives dumplings and beef cheung fun here. I can't speak for dinner or how it is on the weekdays, but it's quite busy over the weekends, which is expected for dim sum. It's a large space too, but once it's busy, you'll have to take a number and wait for a table. There's some seating along the side of the entrance to wait, but it may still take awhile. Usually, only one person really has to go and take a number, so if possible, one person should strive to get there earlier.

I found the pork belly to be really tasty. There was a nice marinade over the skin and meat, plus the skin was pretty crispy even when some of the pieces got a little too moist inside the container. I thought there was a generous portion of the crispy pork in my meal. There were some mustard greens in the rice plate which added nice variation in taste. Want to start off by saying that we had such great service here- our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive. Ambiance is good as well. Lots of parking available. The sauce it came with was great too- perfectly sweet & vinegary. - Dry beef mixed noodles: The beef was super tender, and the noodles were flavorful. This is meant to be a cold dish, but my mom was a bit hesitant about that and they were more than willing to serve it hot! (I definitely recommend having it cold though haha) - Szechuan Numbed Pepper Broth: Got this with fatty beef. I know some similar places let you put the fillings into the broth yourself, but ours came already assembled (which is what I personally prefer). We loved how mala this broth is, probs my favorite dish we got. Also loved the texture and lightness of the rice noodles. Lots of great fillings like quail egg, spam, wood ear mushroom, cabbage. - Korean Kimchi Broth: Got this with pork chop (though actually it was pork ribs). This is a great choice if you want a tomato-y broth that has a hint of spice and acidity. Another instance of the great service because the pork ribs were kind of hard to eat with our utensils and when we asked if they could possibly cut it up, they did not hesitate to do so. If you enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine, this place delivers bold flavors, generous portions, and dishes that taste like they were made for people who appreciate real Chinese cooking. On our visit, we ordered the Fish Fillet & Beef In Hot Spicy Sauce with SoyBean Sprouts & Sichuan Pepper, Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce, Mouth-Watering Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce W/Ground Peanuts, Pork Belly Slices W/ Preserved Vegetables and Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts, along with rice to soak up every last bit of sauce. The Spicy Boiled Fish and Beef was the star of the meal. The large bowl arrived covered with fragrant chili oil, dried chilies, and Sichuan spices. The fish and beef were incredibly tender and silky, while the broth delivered layers of heat, aroma, and numbing spice without overwhelming the flavor of the fish. Every bite was rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. In contrast, the Boiled Fish Fillet in Soy Sauce showcased the kitchen's finesse with more delicate flavors. The fish was exceptionally fresh, flaky, and perfectly cooked, served in a light soy-based sauce with scallions and greens. It allowed the natural sweetness of the fish to shine and provided a wonderful balance to the spicier dishes on the table. The Chicken in Cold Spicy Sauce with Ground Peanuts was another standout. The chicken was moist and tender, dressed with fragrant chili oil, garlic, cilantro, and crunchy toppings that added texture and freshness. It was refreshing yet packed with flavor and made for an excellent appetizer. We enjoyed it with steamed rice. The Braised Pork Belly was beautifully prepared, with alternating layers of meat and fat that practically melted in your mouth. The rich soy-based braising sauce was savory with a touch of sweetness, making it the perfect companion to a bowl of steamed rice. The Spicy Noodles with Ground Pork and Peanuts were simple but incredibly addictive. The chewy noodles, savory minced pork, roasted peanuts, and fresh greens created a perfect combination of textures and flavors. Once mixed together, every bite delivered a satisfying balance of richness, crunch, and subtle heat. What impressed me most about Humble House was the authenticity of the food. The flavors are bold and unapologetically traditional, the portions are generous, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The setting is casual since it's located inside the supermarket food court. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan and Chinese comfort food in Duluth, Humble House is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you're craving fiery boiled fish, comforting braised dishes, flavorful cold appetizers, or satisfying noodle bowls, this spot delivers. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

For the price and the area, the food quality just wasn't there, especially compared to other dim sum spots we've tried across the US and Vancouver. Food quality Most of the dim sum we ordered came out cold, and some items seemed like they were reheated (microwave style) to warm them up. That made the outer texture thicker and less pleasant. Even the fried items were disappointing: the outside was soggy, not crisp. I especially had high hopes for fried items like fried taro and fried eggplant, but both were below par. Best item we tried The one standout was the Hong Kong style seafood chow mein with a clear sauce. That dish was genuinely good. Everything else ranged from "okay" to forgettable. Value I don't remember the exact total, but for a similar spend, I strongly feel you could get better dim sum elsewhere. It didn't feel worth the money. Service Service was fine. They were willing to heat items when we asked, which I appreciated, but it also highlighted the bigger issue: dim sum should arrive hot and properly cooked in the first place. Atmosphere The atmosphere was actually nice. It was pretty clean, and on Sunday there were carts, which could have been fun. But because many items were cold and not great, we ended up ordering instead of relying on the carts. Would I return? No. The space is pleasant, but the food and overall execution just don't justify the price.
