Yikes, the customer service has gone down so much. I walked in and waited 10 minutes to have my order taken for a to-go order. The only two female cashiers completely ignored me for the entire time. And when one of the cashiers came up she helped someone behind me in line and completely ignored me. I waited another five minutes until her female coworker walked up BUT it wasn't to greet me or take my order. She walked up to me because she was grabbing menus for a different group. I told her I was interested in ordering. She said okay and walked away again. I'm sure they were busier than usual, but still really unusual behavior. She finally came over to take my order and I asked her for an estimate of how long the wait would be to get my food. She said she didn't know but that it wouldn't be anytime soon. I want to also note I was the only person waiting to have my order taken. I left and don't plan to ever go back.

Expensiiiiiive....and really bad menudo. I posted a video and picture showing the glob of fat in the menudo. Omg...It felt slimy going down with each bite. The food was just okay - nothing stood out. $13 for 3 tacos without rice / beans was crazy to me. Again, way too expensive, food was just okay, menudo was simply bad.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but I noticed there was only one server for the entire establishment. While she handled everything admirably, it was clear she was overwhelmed. The food itself was good overall, though it could benefit from more seasoning. Additionally, the arrachera lacked the tenderness I expected, resembling a less premium cut. We also got a fly in our water the server was apologetic and brought us out fresh fruit.

We went on a Thursday around 6 PM and there was no wait. Our server was confused when I ask how the Chile Relleno was prepared but she retrieved the manager and my question was answered. The Relleno was grilled and was very tasty. I also liked the chips and salsa. Plenty of parking available and the dining area is simple but plenty of comfortable seating.

Ok so, they started strong with the chips and salsa. And I mean strong- that salsa was fantastic. Then the appetizer to try for us was the guacamole, which fell flat. No flavor and pretty small amount (the picture is deceiving- lots of lettuce under, very little guac). The fijitas apparently had wonderful flavor on the shrimp and beef. My plate had no flavor on anything besides the beef. And I got one red and one green cheese enchilada to compare which I'd like more. The rice was drenched in grease. The beans were beans. After how much flavor the salsa had, I was pretty disappointed with my plate. The waitress was nice. The place was nice and clean overall. For me, I doubt I'll return.

Cute little Mexican cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Colorful interior, friendly staff. Good choices including mariscos and machaca. Machaca is difficult to find in the 505. Chips arrived promptly with a tasty fresh red salsa. I had cheese enchiladas, my husband had a breakfast with machaca. One of his favorites. He said it was a little bland, but well done otherwise. My enchiladas came out with the cheese unmelted. I asked for a few, they promptly brought me a fresh new set with the cheese melted. They were good. Good food. Not outstanding but good solid Mexican fare. Was full of patrons, so popular in this area.

The food is absolutely delicious. I'm not a big sea food guy but even I struggled with putting down the ceviche.

    Barbados tacos with charro beans

Both my husband and I really enjoyed our meal. I had the barbacoa tacos with charro beans (you can get the tacos without the beans but worth the extra dollar in my opinion). My husband had the chicken fajitas and loved them as well. The server also brought us chips with salsa and queso which was delicious. Friendly staff, quick service and cute inside!

I ordered the ribeye and, although it was a little overcooked (I asked for medium), it had a great taste. I also tried the chiles rellenos and also asked for a side of frijoles charros and everything was very tasty. I think the price is great for the food & great service received. Highly recommend.

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. When you get into the restaurant, there are just tons of combinations of these cozy little nooks, long dining tables, separated rooms, patio seating, and event spaces. There is something to see everywhere you look; fountains, fireplaces, and plants, hanging chiles, and more. They even raise cattle and chickens on property and source from their own greenhouse for their menu items. The ambience was just really cool and even though the winds were blowing like crazy, we were totally comfortable out in the patio section with the screens up. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option. I wish we would've had more to explore the property but if I end up back in the Albuquerque area, I'll stop by again.

The good: The red chile rubbed ribs are phenomenal, but 1/2 rack for $44?! It's not a lobster tail. Beans and guac-excellent, calabacitas-very good. The chicken enchiladas-delicious with tender chicken. The bad: 2 Grand Gold margaritas at $15 each that were neither grand or gold. I've had better house margaritas at Applebees, lol. Their red chile was sparse, but that actually turned out in my favor because it was on the edge of burnt. A bit acrid. The sopas were dense, flat, chewy, and overcooked. The salsa-underwhelming.
