I happened to be nearby waiting for a friend before the Lakers game and I saw this place and it looked relatively new....I don't normally drink coffee or caffeinated drinks after 12 I couldn't help but try a place I've never been to before.... It was a pretty nicely laid out interior with a lot of seats and group seating and a good patio area in the front....Got myself a Latte and just chilled outside waiting for my friend. It was really good latte actually if I recall the beans they get are from VERVE....but you still have to be able to make the drink right as well...and it was spot on.... A bit on the expensive side but still good....

AWESOME COFFEE is conveniently located to our work location. There are metered street parking available in the surrounding streets. Came both during a weekday and a weekend and on both occasions, this coffee shop is open and well-occupied. The space is large with a lot of indoor and outdoor eating areas. They are also very study/work friendly. Considering they have a lot of "sweet" dessert drinks on their menu, I was a bit leary of their espresso drinks... But my doubts were for nothing! Their CORTADO is legitimately strong, creamy, delicious and not too sour. Both times I ordered it. Their LATTE is strong and not milky. Their OREO MATCHA is surprisingly good. I'm not sure how the matcha flavor was still noticeable when the oreo was generous, but it was. The staff are friendly and patient.

A cute and stylish spot for coffee and tea with decadent options like a tiramisu latte and a pistachio matcha latte! This spot is pretty expensive (my pistachio matcha latte cost $13) so it's definitely not an everyday spot but still cute for hanging out with friends or working (they've got free wifi and a bathroom plus lots of seating with back support).

I love this local coffee shop! The ambiance and overall vibe are amazing, and the customer service was excellent. I believe her name was Zura, she was so welcoming & even gave my puppy a pup cup, which made the experience even sweeter. My matcha was also so yummy! Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to often!!!

Location and ambience 10/10 Parking pretty good for DTLA Coffee meh, just average Prices- ridiculous. Over $30 for two coffees and one normal slice of tiramisu. Service was good, so I don't blame the staff. It's a cool place, much better than the Ktown location but for the price and the quality of the coffee, there are a myriad of better places in the area. Sorry not sorry. Wouldn't come back on my own.

Coffee 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 The coffee was good. It tastes like coffee and not a sugary beverage. You can taste the high quality coffee 10xbetter than strbux. The aesthetics of this establishment are beautiful. It makes you want to stay and work. It is very peaceful and not too loud. They have music playing in the background and 2 separate dinning rooms as well as a small outdoor space with tables. I highly recommend this place and the coffee. The servers are very nice as well.

Super cute new coffee and Cafe in downtown Los Angeles South Park. They have really neat drinks and interesting looking food. Beautiful decor n great vibe. There were only two people working when I was in so they were a little behind, but it was their fresh opening. I'm sure they're gonna have more employees soon. I had a delicious rose lemonade with real rose sprinkles. I look forward to trying their coffee.

Since Awesome coffee opened, I've had to stop myself from visiting everyday! This local coffee shop is exactly what South Park Social District needed. 4/5 stars because their prices are a bit higher than others in the area to be coming daily but it's well worth it for a treat yourself moment. Aeda and Zurri are my absolute favorite baristas, so sweet and always have a smile on their face! My go to here is a hot Dirty Chai Latte, it's the perfect mood booster and they have managed to somehow make it extra delicious! The atmosphere takes this place next level. So many spots to setup laptop (they have WiFi) read, have conversations both inside and outside. It has an intimate SoHo vibe that we can enjoy for free, well almost ;) I look forward to many more peaceful coffee moments at awesome as a local resident!

I visited a few coffee shops while in LA, and this was one of my stops. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which was decent. I was hoping for a little more strawberry flavor because once I mixed it, the earthy matcha taste was stronger than expected. I usually order regular matcha, so I thought this would be a fun twist. Overall, the coffee shop itself was beautiful with a great atmosphere and lots of options.

Updating my review. On first visit I gave this place one star due to overpriced coffee. For some reason on visits back the coffee cost less (my employer paid for cup that time). I have since returned as ambiance lovely and reminds me of NYC. Also the price of decaf americano with half and half only $7 and some change now. Still pricey but after a hectic day at work makes for a nice lunch escape to write. I have no idea why that first order so overpriced the time I came??

this place is not awesome, please avoid this place at all costs. my mistake for not seeing starbucks across the street so I came here. I paid $8 for the most basic hot coffee (not even a 24oz) and ended up drinking sludge. not even sure how this is possible because it was a good 1/2" of the bottom.

The people went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care. The smells of croissants hit you on the way in and you are hooked. The ambiance is very cute with marble tables and nice furniture. Highly recommend the oat milk latte and some of there seasonal drinks. I have come back a few times now.

The most overpriced place I've ever eaten at! Food is boring and tasteless, and the prices are at a level of a fanciest cafe. Ridiculous!

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

I was pleased to get some Cafe Dulce nearby while I shopped at Trader Joe's and Target in the USC village. This cafe does have a top of the range Vietnamese coffee...a joyous cup that does no harm. The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. Those are always on my inviting side for Cafe Dulce. Their Little Tokyo location is also a great visit experience. They have some tasty breakfast burritos there. Other than that, a great cafe to check out with plenty of college students here minding their business.
