Nice little coffee shop tucked in in a hotel. The ambiance is pretty nice and comfortable to study, do work, chat etc. It's relatively dark for my taste but the quality of the coffee sold makes up for it. The pastries are also good. They have a variety of it available. I tried pistachio milk for the first time- very delicious! Who knew there was pistachio milk?! Check them out.

We were looking for a cute coffee shop near our hotel in DTLA (we are staying at LEVEL - check out my full review on that as well). This spot looks more vibey than it actually is. The cafe itself is very small and tucked away to the side of a hotel lobby. We ordered a latte, americano, chocolate croissant and breakfast plate. The coffees were strong but pricey. The croissant wasn't offered to be warmed so that was a bit of a disappointment. The breakfast plate was actually epic for $17. Huge portions and my husband said it was the best bacon he's every had in the US (he's from England so hates our thin bacon). Overall, it's OK but the heavy wood feels more dated than vibey. The seating areas are not as plentiful as you'd want because it is a shared space and we had a hard time finding an outlet that worked.

The latte I ordered was good and you order from a window to the far right side of the lobby. The surrounding area contains some couches and chairs that are good for lounging. Service is quick and the barista uses a shaker to mix the latte.

I recently stayed at the Freehand LA for a business trip and decided to try Cafe Integral! I wanted to try both the coffee and the food, and unfortunately could not get both on Monday. But on Tuesday ordered the breakfast sandwich and an iced dirty chai. Drink was incredible, authentic chai and cinnamon was a nice touch at the end. Breakfast sandwich tasted great - but bagel was a bit chewy and there was not enough of each ingredient. But overall pleasant experience and if in DTLA I would go again.

Stopped by here on a Friday morning and it most certainly DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Located inside Freehand Hotel. We ordered the following: - 1 vanilla iced latte - 1 pistachio milk hot latte - 1 breakfast burrito - 1 breakfast sandwich ALL 4 items SLAPPED. Like, expensive, but QUALITY and taste was . Haven't had a breakfast this delicious and a minute and was so worth it. Will definitely be back! :)

Awesome place. It's DTLA and parking isn't ideal but I found a spot half of a block up and it was worth the effort. Beautiful location and the bar area might be small but works for the overall layout of the lobby. It's quiet and a nice place to sit down and enjoy some drinks. Yes the drinks are delicious. Had never had a hot latte with pistachio milk, won't lie, as a barista myself, the texture wasn't ideal but flavor was spot on so still enjoyed it very much. The Americano was strong and bold, slightly more roasted than I would normally get on my own as far as the espresso but the barista pulled a nice shot regardless so it wasn't bitter or as I call darker roasted coffees- tobacco-like. Service was great. Prices were also great. Barista even let me try the drip as we had spoken about the different bean offerings at Integral. It's a recommended try in the DT area. Lots of great shops around but they hold their own.

BEAUTIFUL CAFE SPOT! LOVE IT HERE! It is inside a hotel! I came early to catch up on some work, and it was a great time. Though it got crowded and had limited seats, I could secure a table and get work done. Coffee is a little expensive, but that espresso makes up for it. It is comfy, and time passes you by because of its dim atmosphere. 10/10

cafe integral is of my top 5 coffee shops in los angeles county. a strikingly nostalgic, dim, timeless interior design of the freehand hotel lobby sets the ultimate scene for your coffee, much needed. i had the canela latte which was delicious and balanced, and came out at a good pace considering the single barista. also i love how personal the barista window makes you feel, gives the place a really individual experience. my only sadness is that they close at 2pm, but i mean...its a hotel lobby cafe so, no grievances there. but imagine drinking a cappuccino at midnight in the lobby? ugh. thank you, cafe integral. you are truly beautiful.

What a beautiful Café! intimate and beautiful decorated, filled with little details around the whole cafe are words I would use to describe this place to someone who has never been. You almost feel like you are in a completely different time zone. The cafe is set up with wood, colorful tile, plants and low lighting. Cafe integral really helps you slow down and remove yourself from the fast paced downtown feeling. This cafe is filled with ports and meant for you to come sit down, work, and or help you unplug. There coffee is good nothing too special But I believe this cafe offers more of focused environment. So if you need a place to study or work - this is your place. TIP: there are no gluten-free or Vegan goodies.

Before I could even walk away, one of the baristas snatched it from my hand and said, "You're not allowed to use that. The saucers go with the latte mugs!" I paused, glanced at the empty café behind me, and replied, "There are plenty available--surely I can use one." He continued, in a dismissive tone, speaking to me in a way that felt unnecessarily disrespectful. I chose to walk away and still enjoy my pour-over. But it's not just about serving good coffee. As Maya Angelou reminds us, people will always remember how you made them feel. And in this space, I felt unwelcome. As a paying customer--one who tipped in advance--that behavior felt undeserved and unwarranted. For that reason, there's no need to return.

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!
