I emphasized that I needed to know for sure because if they couldn't, I had to start a different medication ASAP or it would be too late for that medicine to help me. I even asked them to check with the pharmacist to be ABSOLUTELY sure they could make it because most compounding pharmacies can't. They said they checked, they can, and they have all the ingredients needed. They even required me to pay in advance over the phone and I did. Tuesday I was told it would be ready Wednesday and was actively being formulated. Wednesday morning I got a call saying not only do they not actually have the ingredients they told me they had, but this wasn't a medication they can even process because they are unwilling to purchase the ingredient they don't have. I emphasized that I planned my entire treatment regimen around this specific medication and am now left with no options because it's too late to use the other medication. Not only that, it will be next week before I get a refund because it takes several business days. They claimed to have the ingredients and didn't, and claimed it was actively being formulated Tuesday. Either it wasn't, or it was and they chose to wait a full day to tell me they couldn't make it. Either way is inexcusable.

I did a walk-in so it actually worked out pretty well. I waited around for a few because I had to let them prep the vaccination but it let me do all the paperwork. Customer service here was really good because the lady who was at the front was having a good time talking to me. We get along really well and she was super cool. Actually everybody I talk to was super nice and really friendly. For customer service alone. They definitely get five stars. And they said that the vaccination was covered by my insurance, which was the nice thing on the cake LOL. But this spot would definitely be a go-to if I needed something. I was a little bit obscure that I couldn't get from a CVS.

However, I do prefer shopping at the Kroger next door if I'm in the area, and I tend to limit my trips to this Publix for last-minute items I need when I'm shopping at Ansley Mall. Having a Suntrust branch located inside the store is a great touch. It's super-convenient to be able to bank and shop at the same place. I also think the produce section is nice, but the layout can be a little cramped and crowded during peak shopping times. If you're a Publix fan, you won't be disappointed. It can be tricky finding gluten free items as they are mixed in with the regular items. Perhaps if I shopped here more often, I'd figure it out!

They constantly override prescriptions written by my doctor saying that have expired when in reality I have 3 months left of refills and somehow someway these prescriptions just disappear and these are considered "controlled prescriptions!" Need I say more? Yes the Publix Pharmacy located on 10th Street is just as horrible! And the Pharmacist and techs at both these pharmacies have absolutely no social skills as well! Last time this happened the pharmacist was pocketing them....how I ended up trying your establishment. All because I asked for the girls name and she threw a tantrum. Your still paid by my insurance as of this moment. You sure you care about people? I just wanted to know who to avoid and you refused my medical care. Shame on you and you fake concern. If you are filling any type of mental health medication, find anywhere but here. My pharmacists recommended this as my other of many years had some failures. I have to have delivery due to my work hours. They use a courier service. The showed up 45 minutes before they stated before 730 am. I specifically told them that I hold the same hours. They got my delivery information. I told them I could have one of my medical couriers or my boyfriend pick it up and I was told they do not allow other people to pick it up. Which is wild considering they will let you sign the day before to be left outside if you are not home. I was trying to wrap my head around this being a new patient. If you ask any questions or point out how frustrated you are because you are completely out of medication you will get screamed at and oh, don't dare ask for their name. They unlike every medical professional on the planet will not give you the name of the pharmacist that screamed at you no matter how many time you ask, said the "manager" who sounded super familiar to the one who yelled. Fun fact- right after that they reversed and refused to fill my necessary medication for a chemical imbalance. I hate that I had to leave my other decent human being having pharmacy just to be treated like trash. If you require daily medication please save yourself. I will not be getting anything because I do not have a pharmacy, I cannot go to one during regular hours. They will allow you to come off of medication that will cause serious withdrawal and most likely a week of mania. Also-you can't just get new covered by insurance instantly nor did I get any refund. I had stayed the last 8 months in Valdosta taking care of my mother until she passed away a couple of weeks ago. My doctor in Valdosta said he'd just give the paper copies of my prescriptions so i could take them wherever i wanted when i got back to my home in Smyrna. Even though the The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacist looked up prescription history and told me it was "good" that all my meds were being prescribed by 1 doctor and filled at 1 pharmacy, he just couldn't fill an out of town prescription. He ALSO went so far as to tell me he didn't think *ANY* pharmacist "up here" would fill it. The VERY Next PHARMACY I went to filled it in 5 minutes, no problem. Also the MS pharmacist seemed more interested in selling CBD oil than dispensing prescriptions. Don't waste your time at this place.
