I stopped by this CVS Pharmacy (Store #3878) around 6:15 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to pick up a prescription. The entire process was fast and easy. This CVS is located in the busy Midtown Place shopping center (the one with Whole Foods and Home Depot). However, it's somewhat "hidden" off to the side in its own building and has a separate, dedicated parking lot that is much less congested than the main shopping center lot. The pharmacy was experiencing a small, after-work rush of pickups, but the employees worked calmly and efficiently to keep the line moving. Our go-to is the CVS inside the Atlantic Station Target, but they were out of the particular medication needed. False Advertising, Zero Accountability, and Rude Service If I could give CVS zero stars, I would. Their "same day" poster advertisement is a complete lie. I trusted that promise for my business needs, only to waste valuable time, money, and energy. My entire schedule was disrupted because CVS couldn't deliver on what they so boldly advertise. That inconvenience had a direct impact on my business--deadlines missed, clients waiting, and stress I didn't need. To make matters worse, when I went in on Sunday, August 31st at 11:05 a.m., the shift lead I dealt with was beyond unprofessional. Rude, dismissive, and absolutely unwilling to help--exactly the opposite of what you'd expect from someone in a leadership role. Instead of owning up to the failure or offering a solution, they made the situation worse. This was my last straw with CVS. I will never trust or use their services again. If you're thinking of relying on their so-called "same day" promises for anything important, don't. Save yourself the frustration, because CVS clearly doesn't value honesty, professionalism, or their customers' time. read more

Lane 2 of pharmacy is out of service but the neat thing is there's no signs indicating this and they don't tell you until you've sat there 15 mins while other cars jump ahead of you in lane 1. Nice! read more

This CVS was the only one who could successfully get a script I needed, but I gotta say this location makes no sense to me. Access to it is extremely complicated, located right by the entrance to the mall across from Ponce City Market. getting in and out is a nightmare. The staff, although friendly, had real trouble filling it at the promised time and day. Ended up being days later, which was frustrating. The parking lot is a sad spot too, with folks camped out doing god knows what. Am I glad it's there? sure. would I prefer Midtown or Ansley? yes indeed. read more

Just got denied to have a nebulizer filled at 6:21 pm on 10/24 because the girl at the drop off counter was "grabbing her trash and walking out the door". She refused to ask the two other staff members, both a pharmacist and another tech, for help because "they were too busy doing vaccines and working the drive through." The pharmacist also told us it wouldn't be filled until tomorrow. I was having an acute asthma exacerbation and was obviously having trouble breathing. I was hospitalized for this earlier in the day, which is how I got the prescription for the nebulizer. We told them this. Response was "we don't have time, can you go to the other pharmacy down the road?" The other pharmacy doesn't have it but at least they were nice enough to look and order it for us. I worked as a pharm tech at cvs for 3 years. It should've taken less than 5 minutes to fill a nebulizer for someone struggling to breathe. To be unwilling to even look and see if you have one when someone is telling you they need it is appalling. I am absolutely shocked and horrified at how poorly they treated us. As someone who works in healthcare currently and who worked at cvs pharmacy for several years, I genuinely cannot imagine being unwilling to take 5 minutes to help someone who was standing in front of me having trouble breathing. I've never left a pharmacy feeling so incompetent before. I am having the worse sinus infection of my life which has made my life feel like I'm walking through a thick fog. The younger lady who was checking me out tried to help me as best as she could with the prescriptions however the pharmacist seemed bothered or irritated of the sorts at nearly all my questions and concerns. Her tone of voice was so off putting that I walked out the store feeling very ashamed and decided to transfer all my medications to a different location. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. One day I was waiting for my prescription for two days!!!! When I came in to pick it up for the second time they asked me to come in the next day. But from the look of my face they said oh let me actually see something and miraculously the medicine was ready. Waiting in lines for 20-30 minutes, unclear directions from the stuff and etc. I think k maybe they are short handed and need more pharmacists to serve people in such a busy location but it's still not an excuse. read more

The pharmacy techs have the absolute worst attitudes - idk what they're going through but it's shows EVERY single time I have ever used them. Don't bother getting a covid test here. They won't be able to process your results because the test swabs are more than twice the size of the tube you're supposed to put them in, which will invalidate your test. They won't offer any kind of solution to this obvious problem. Thanks for absolutely nothing, CVS. Also, in general, this CVS is extremely slow and understaffed. Avoid it if you can. read more

A line of cars waiting in the drive through for prescription pick ups unaware they close the pharmacy at 7pm. Gate closes on me as i pull up with at least two cars waiting behind me. Not cool CVS, not cool. Proper signage could've helped as I could have just come inside the store instead of wait for 15 minutes for drive thru service. read more

Ok, so I came in here to get three things: cvs brand lens wipes, theraflu, and puffs tissue with lotion and with vicks. 1st stop, lens wipes. "oh there's a sale. 2 for $6. Cool beans. Wait...they're all out. Oh man." 2nd stop, theraflu. "all of this theraflu to choose from. Which one fits my needs. Ahhh, found it. Flu and sore throat. Wait they don't have any. Crap! WTF!" 3rd stop, puffs. "yay! there's a sale on these too! Ok, puffs, puffs, puffs. I don't see any. Damnit. I can't freaking believe this crap. They don't have anything that I came in here for. Why on earth are you doing this to me CVS. You are not being very nice." So I got back in my car and drive my flu-ridden self to rite-aid. Which isn't a nice store at all. I was able to get my puffs (only with lotion, they didn't carry the ones with vicks) and my theraflu. read more

We needed a prescription filled for our baby on a Sunday morning. The CVS we usually use doesn't open until 11:00 while this one opens at 10:00, so we chose to come here. We got there as soon as they opened at 10:00 am to fill the prescription only to be told that while they had the medication available, it would not be ready until 3:00 pm due to high volume and a shortage of employees. We then called the CVS we typically use only a couple of miles away when they opened at 11:00. They said they could have the prescription ready for us in 15-20 minutes. We called back this CVS and told them we would rather fill it at the other CVS since they can have it ready much sooner. We figured since it's also a CVS they would have a way to send it to them. They told us we could do that but we would need to come pick it up from them and take it to the other CVS. Not only were they unhelpful, they were also unprofessional and rude. Mind you we are dealing with this while we have a 14 month old baby with a double infection who is waiting on this medication to feel relief. We will never do business with this CVS location ever again and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Absolutely horrible. I have visited this establishment twice to pick up prescriptions. Staff is extremely rude and do not seem to care about you or anything else. I was informed my prescriptions would be ready for pick up at Noon the following day when i called and requested the refill. I called and checked on my way to the pharmacy to ensure there were no changes in my pick up time and again it told me noon. I arrive to the pharmacy and sit in line for approximately 30 minutes to get to the window and be told it would not be ready until 4:30. Driving away I see a pharmacist standing outside in a tent smiling and waving to people walking around. This is the second time this situation has occurred. Their app does not work, and no one is willing to answer the phone and discuss as to why my prescriptions are not available when told. I have always used Walgreens for all my Pharmaceutical needs and after this experience I plan on returning, and would suggest anyone new to this area do the same. read more

I've had several terrible experiences with CVS in the past, but I've found myself occasionally visiting this location off of Ponce ever since settling in Midtown. And even though I claim #TeamWalgreens, I'll consider defecting for several reasons: +The parking lot could host a really freaking large BBQ. In other words, there's ample parking. +Drive through pharmacy is pretty baller. +It's very clean and organized. +Shelves are fully stocked. +Ample travel-sized shampoos, soaps, and other toiletries, for travel exist. +The friendly staff answer all my questions. Lots of smiling, too. I do agree with other Yelpers that sketchy folks may linger in the front, but I haven't had any problems with them. They literally just chill and drink Gatorade on the curbs. I do understand that I am a man, though, and have certain privileges when it comes to feeling safe around other people. Look on your receipt for discounts. In Which You Suspect Your Local Pharmacy Of Conspiring With Your Mother To Get You Pregnant Given that I have a CVS a few hundred yards from my house, I never had any reason to step foot in the next closest one. That changed earlier this year when I called in my birth control refill, like I have every single month for 5 years, only to be informed they wouldn't be able to fulfill my request for 3 more days (too late for me to start). My reproductive organs and I could not believe it. Was Obamacare to blame for all the newfound and longstanding sluts lining up for free All The Penis I Want, None of the Baby pills? I'd heard that accusation lobbed by conservatives but hadn't considered its real impact on my own sex life and cramp control. Was it a subversive plot by a pharmacist with a grudge because I asked her to sanitize her hands before our transaction? Obviously, those conspiracy theories are stupid and far fetched. It's much more likely my very persuasive Latina mother called in a favor so that I can finally give her the hairy grandchild she's always wanted. Well, I thwarted my mother's dastardly plan by transferring my prescription here and boy, am I glad I did. I've never waited more than a couple of minutes to pick up a prescription. The location is clean and never crowded. And they have a great and expansive card collection for when you want to send your mom the very best "Let's Get You A Hobby" card. read more

This has become the default CVS for us since we've been needing small baby items and mise en place for the nursery on occasion. I'm not ever particularly jazzed to visit a CVS, but they do carry many of the necessary items you'll need for whatever ailment has stricken... or if you just want to load up on junk food for a movie night at home. I came to this location shortly after our son was born and was still pretty hazy on the days past. As soon as I walked in, the guy at the front came over and asked me if I needed help. It was the first time that had happened to me at a CVS and also the first time I was greatly appreciative. He directed me to the few aisles I needed and was actually rather friendly. As a side note, this CVS carries a ton of Burt's Bees stuff for babies. Tons of things I had never seen before and was excited to pick up -- Burp cloths, socks, more onesies, and some more shampoo/wash. Score. This CVS is also relatively accessible from the BeltLine, but perhaps not in the most direct way. You'll have to exit the BeltLine near Paris and then walk around to Ponce. It's doable, though! read more

He made me feel so safe, I came late night and he walked me out to my car to make sure I was safe! I will be coming back to this CVS! Stores need more people like Clay! read more

I absolutely LOVE this new CVS in my neighborhood. I know...most of them are the pretty much the same, but the new location on Ponce is fabulous. It's about double the size of most locations and the pharmacy is huge. I have filled about a half a dozen prescriptions there and have waited, at the most 10 minutes. My father is a pharmacist so I really appreciate pharmacists who do more than just fill prescriptions. The pharmacists on staff are very knowledgable about your medications and have a lot of advice if asked about over the counter medications. In most CVS locations...you can barely get the attention of the pharmacist on duty. If you live in the neighborhood...I suggest making this CVS your pharmacy of choice. read more

I love the drive-thru pharmacy here. Very fast service. Most of the techs are very nice and warm. Large parking lot separate from the Midtown Promenade. There isn't always someone at the front register, so you might have to wait a little before getting rung up. They do need to work on the loitering around the building. This is especially true around the back of the store by the drive-thru. Also, sometimes there are street people asking for money in the parking lot. So more monitoring is needed. read more

I love the pharmacy staff, they are incredibly helpful. What tipped me over the edge today was that I needed to fill a prescription early, and rather than run it through insurance they put it through on their own as I was a regular. It's not always the fastest at the drive-through, but 100% of the time that's idiot customers, not the hard working staff. I don't think I have ever seen them standing still. read more

I've been going to this location for years and today was the final straw. I went there to pick up my refills only to be told that one of them is no longer being manufactured and that cvs didn't even receive a warning regarding the discontinued medication. I told them that it's not okay at all to be leaving a patient high and dry with medications that are crucial to get through each day with peace in mind. If it were allergy medicine, fine- I would have let it slide by. However, this is serious medication that was necessary for me and for them to text my phone and tell me the medication is ready for pick up and then tell me to my face in person that they don't have it is enough to make my blood boil! They lied to my face about the manufacturer story because when they sent me to a nearby cvs that has the medication and I got It refilled, I found out both locations use MYLAN pharmaceuticals as their manufacturer for the medication I needed. Now please explain to me why Mylan would "suddenly stop manufacturing" when the other cvs had the medication in stock and that 2nd location had no idea there was an issue with Mylan?! I'm so done with even trying to work with CVS. They've clearly got a problem and it's not me. Even my doctor had to call them and figure out what their malfunction is. Finally, my doc told me from now on- start going to Walgreens or elsewhere because it's nothing new that cvs loves to play around and lie to the faces of patients. Good riddance! read more

Worst CVS I've ever been to! Employees are useless, they never know anything about the products. Also harrassed by security, frisked and told they didn't need thieves like me in their store and not to come back. The dick head thought I stole 2 cadberry eggs because he was too old to see me put them down. Manager just shook her head and apologized for his ignorant ass. Then the Manager on duty couldn't even take my complaint! I was told I would have to come back on Monday to file a formal complaint. I'm 30 years old, dressed from head to toe in Armani and have never stolen anything from a anywhere! It's way past time for grandpa to retire, old eagle eye just ain't got it anymore! read more

This cvs location is much nicer and cleaner than any other CVS (or similar pharmacy) you will find in a 5 mile radius and the employees are always very nice. I mostly go to this CVS store to get film developed. I will say that considering there are 3 other film developing pharmacies that are closer to my house, it should be obvious that I go here for how polite and helpful the employees are. That being said, today I picked up some photos, popped the CD into my compter, and -to my absolute horror- saw SOMEONE ELSE'S (luckily safe-for-work) photos on the CD. Despite this pretty big inconvenience, I called the CVS and spoke to an employee named Marquel who very kindly apologized and said he could take care of everything if I came in tomorrow during his time there. I was really relieved to hear this. Everyone makes mistakes and it's nice to be comforted by helpful and polite customer service in the event of such mistakes. read more
