The Owner is super cool! I've gone here a few times to get some things printed for school and the owner (Gilbert) I think is his name is so helpful, super easy going, and is affordable. For what I wanted done it would have cost atleast 70$ per book (180 pages, and spiraled) at FedEx or staples, but this man charged me 22$! There are few times I need to run like a chicken with it's head cut off if it doesn't concern my kids. So, when I first needed to make card invites for an event, I looked for what was nearest me. Avenue Press and Fed-Ex were at the closest proximities, so I called them for pricing. I was surprised to here that Avenue had lower, if not similar, prices to Fed-Ex. So, considering the type of paper (cardstock) I needed, I went in, since previous visits to Fed-Ex have proved to me that most employees don't know many options nor how to explain things unless it's a paper jam or file type. At first, no one usually will greet you and the entrance is a small space with many printers all huddled up close together. The cash register reads that only cash accepted, amd no large bills eother. You also need to have what you want in mind. Lucky for me, the manager was at a nearby computer working in a cubicle and asked me what I needed while adding a simple "Hi!" I asked what would be best for pricing and material in my need and also other areas as a photographer myself. He explained things down to the point, not a beat-around-the-bush kinda guy nor a seller, and got working on my prints right there. No need for me to push buttons, he took my USB drive, made necessary adjustments himself and started printing. His work was on point too. Turns out he also makes designs for what you need, be it for business or personal use, like business cards, brochures, birthday invites, baby shower invites, t-shirt prints, banners, etc. You name it, he can make it happen and if he can't, he'll figure out how to do it. You can even email qhat you need, even filea and work with him that way to just pick up and pay. He is a very hands-on printing guy and treats repeat customers as old friends. All in all, his expert knowledge is amazing and quality is great for a lower and very comparible price to others. His jokes can be a bit sarcastic, and you might miss a few of them if your head is on just the job you need from him. He'll even keep your business cards there if you ask him for future customers. He supports community events, helps local organizations with fliers, and aids small businesses in their printing needs. He even keeps a small TV on for guests (I assume), but will be multi-tasking as he listens in and makes small talk about what's on the screen. Generally, he can make your prints right there, if it's small enough, or for pick-up later or another day, depending on the delicacy of the work needed. read more
