Today I dealt with a very rude and condescending person filling in at your South Everett location. His name is Jerome Woods. After being talked to with a complete lack of courtesy and professionalism and being blamed for having a bad experience and showing no accountability I asked for his manager. He went into the store and came back out and told me that based on my attitude the manager did not want to talk to me. I asked him for his name for my complaint and he told me he didn't have to give me that. I then called the number on the door for the manager and got the store. They told me the manager was gone for the day, this was less than a minute after being refused to talk to him. I was given the home store for Jerome. I called that store in Lynnwood and spoke to the manager there, Flavio who was very helpful, apologetic, and generally pleasant to talk to. Jerome needs some training in dealing with people and difficult situations. This is definitely not the way you want your customers treated. The fact that the manager refused to talk to me based on "how I acted in the store" is completely unfounded. I did get rude with Jerome in the parking lot only after he was rude and dismissive of me and my desire to file a complaint. Customer service is the cornerstone of retail and this experience will not only prevent me from ever using Autozone again but will also prompt me to very loudly and obtusely share the incredibly poor leadership and customer service that your company leaves in charge. The lack of accountability and deflection coupled with the bad attitude and lack of concern about your company's reputation should not be qualities found in your leadership. The store manager's unwillingness to discuss the situation has led to this message and the resulting reviews I'll be posting on multiple platforms. In a world where consumers have so many options it's a shame that you have leaders telling customers that their opinions don't matter and that they don't care about bad reviews. read more

My card was stolen. I went to the store and said that I had a credit balance but my card had been stolen. They said they couldn't help me with that in the Everett, WA store, and that without the card I couldn't access my credit balance by any other means. They gave me a new card and said to register it online. I've attempted to register the new card, which I've had now for a couple of weeks, and the website says my "membership can't be verified." I signed up for a new account on Autozone.com but there was no place to add my new card number. Apparently the Autozone.com user account and the Autozonerewards user account are two different things? I'm through with Autozone. I hate this sort of runaround! The IRS is easier and simpler to deal with than Autozone's loyalty program. PS: I attempted to enter this comment on their website when cancelling my autozone.com account to clue them in. The site gave an error and said "please enter a valid reason for cancelling your account." I cut the text out and replaced it with "you suck" and it that was apparently acceptable. They must be used to that remark, but aren't capable of receiving constructive criticism. Go to a real auto parts store that doesn't have this mickey mouse gimmick of a "rewards" program. read more

While on our way we called ahead to ask if a part was in stock and spoke to a employee named Jon. He started to ask questions then asked a question that was not answerable over the phone ( or even later by the employees at the store). When the question he asked was repeated to him over the phone he then hung up. We called back and asked if he'd like to hang up on us again he said 'yep' and hung up again for a second time. When we arrived at the store approx 5 min (6:50ish) later Jon was clearly in the back, and we told the associate that he was helping us. He said ok and went back to get him but all of a sudden he wasn't there. Then we explained the situation to the associate helping us with the current manager right there. He then got a attitude and disappeared in the back when he was confronted about talking to us like we were idiots. The manager took over got our part with no apologies or anything for their employees and their behavior. On a positive note the O'Reilly Auto Parts in silver lake, WA off 112th didn't have our part but the guy who helped up was on point and super cool helping us look for 30-45 mins. read more

I would rate a zero star if I could. Horrible horrible customer service. I went trying to make a return for my husband for an item he had bought three days ago. He tried at least two times to return this item but this guy Ruben along with one of the managers were complete jerks to him because my husband doesn't speak very good english. All he said was that this item had no guarantee! I knew from the beginning that this was utter and complete racism! So I went today and the cashier on duty gave me a refund without even asking a question. Ruben heard that it was my husband's phone number and name and he proceeded to make horrible comments about my husband to other employees (probably thinking I wouldn't say anything) So I confronted him and he didn't know what to say. He's hispanic too!!! Being a racist jerk to another hispanic. Never going back to this trashy place! read more

If you want ass customer service and no help, or fo have someone order the wrong shit, then go to this location.. This was absolutely the most terrible autozone I have ever been in hands down.. By far the worst customer service in the world. The lady working there was completely "clueless" and kinda rude when you corrected her on anything automotive as she Obviously making it up as she go's along. The store was a mess all the way around and disorganized. I would definitely say go to a different autozone or parts store all together. read more

Usually not too bad of service so that's why 2 stars instead of 1 but today I walked in and the counter guy was helping a customer. I stood waiting for him to finish all the while not being greeted no customer service. He finished up with him and the phone rang with another customer so he picked up the phone and was helping them for another 5 minutes with zero acknowledgment that I was there. There were other guys walking around working and doing things looking at me waiting for help but again not greeting me or asking if I needed help so I walked out. Took my money to another store. All I needed was brake pads which I had called about 5 minutes before that. Get your act together. Even a simple, "hello, be right with you" would have kept me in line. But I guess that's just the kinds of treatment they give girls at a auto part shop. read more

I called last night at 8:55 just to check a price and see if a part was in stock. I was going to tell person that answered the phone, I know you're getting ready to go home...., instead the phone is answered with a muffled noise in the background (obviously I was on speaker), rather than saying anything I said "hello, is this autozone are you open"? he said "yes, for about a minute". (like I said it was 8:55) that means he was open for 5 more minutes. I said "Ok, I guess you're busy" NO RESPONSE. I said well "you could have at least said hello" and hung up. This morning, 8:15 a.m. I called for same reason to check for part and price - phone rang and rang then the ever classic busy signal. Forget it, won't bother calling again. When you are unemployed because more people stop going to your business, you will have only yourself to blame. read more

After O'Reillys did not have the part I needed I called AutoZone about one block south. I forgot his name but taller guy with a beard and grey collard shirt greeted me at the door with correct part in hand not only that he looked under the hood and answered correctly which size and type of tools I would need. Clearly knew what he was talking about and really went above and beyond to help me and even gave me suggestions that could and did save me money. I wrench on all me and my girlfriends cars and rarely get stumped but I was and thankfully he was there and more helpful then any forum or Google. I can be very difficult and anal and rarely leave any auto parts shop satisfied. Thanks again 6'3" dude with a beard. Keep up that very rare knowledgeable and friendly service. read more

I use to go there every time I needed something for my car, but after my last shopping visit in this store I will never come back there again. I enter the store like every time and I was looking for a front light bulb for my car. I greet everybody and after that I waited on the line for my turn. My turn came and I asked the guy for my front light bulb. He showed it to me and then instead of taking my money and check me out he said " I am going for a lunch" left me there just like that even though the whole procedure of check out would take no more then 30 seconds. I waited 10 minutes before somebody check me out. I tried to be sarcastic with the next cashier and I told him "Your employees must be very hungry, your colleague just left me and went to eat". The cashier looked me like he didn't wanted to deal with me at all.....just another annoying customer. My jaw dropped on the flour. I believe people supposed not be treated this way. When I got my bulb I saw that the cover of the bulb was opened and then stapled back together. I came back and I complained about it. The cashier told me to get another one. I went to look for another one and I noticed that half of the items was opened and stapled back or taped. It was very unpleasant experience. At least this is unacceptable, the most it is fraud crime. You guys cant sell old items like new. This was bullshit. You can't do this. Not in America read more
