(O'Reilly didn't have the tools to open my fob and it felt like customer service over there were having a not so great day; tone and stuff were not welcoming...) Autozone has the small tools needed to open the key fob since it's a very small screw. As soon as we walked in, they were friendly! We met up with Jose who was humorous! He inputted the battery for FREE!! Unfortunately they didn't have anymore batteries here but we will be back and owe him some tacos! Hahaha Jose is so nice and helpful! Please keep him! Thank you Jose!!!

But as I walked around…read morethe store, this one employee(who failed to greet me) walked right past me as I was looking for an item. I couldn't find the performance tool fluid pump. So after looking for a bit, I went to the counter where a very nice guy helped me out after helping someone else. But before that occurred, this same employee who wasn't in uniform looked at me and walked into the break room they have behind the counter in between the storage isles. That is when I started playing the video of me waiting there. Not only did he not ask me if I needed help finding anything, he also left his coworker to handle the other customer and myself. The nice employee helped me find where it was in the store, but unfortunately they were out of stock. 3 stars goes to the gentleman who helped me. Minus 2 stars for the employee with the pony tail and lack of inventory. There is a picture of the problem employee attached to this review.

This business has been around for a while now. They have an indoor facility and it's kind of hard…read moreto find. It's in a location you really wouldn't expect - kind of a residential area - so bring your GPS. You can search for parts online and/or call them. They are pretty responsive by phone and cordial (not rude like many wrecking yards). Upon arriving, they took me over to the building and you can go out and pick parts off the vehicles. Obviously you can't just go in there and randomly walk around - you should really have a purpose as the mechanic will be removing a part for you, but they do allow you to look around. As with any wrecking place, there's a certain level of morbid curiosity that prevails. Now you can rubberneck a wreck without almost creating another (while driving). Nix is primarily Lexus/Toyota parts. Car nuts will like it because there are often custom parts lingering around. Assuming they weren't destroyed from the accident, you can ask to have them removed and then purchase them if you wish. I will go back as long as I own a Toyota/Lexus and need parts.

My truck However is a 2002. I wish I had walked away then! The employee assured the window would fit but it did not. Nix 99 said they would find me the right one but weeks passed and I never heard from them. I called to check on the progress they still had not found the proper replacement, it seemed like I might be waiting a long time. When I said, "I'll just return it for a refund" they said,"No". I wrote an email to complain and only then did they agree to refund my money. Then they tried to say it was my fault for giving them the wrong model year. I could not believe the made up story I was hearing from these people! I had repeatedly said model year 2002 every time I called. Nix 99 is a hard to do business with. They have the wrong attitude when it comes to following up and getting customers what they need. And a complete lack of professionalism when dealing with their mistakes.

They said they couldn't help me with that in the Everett, WA store, and that without the card I couldn't access my credit balance by any other means. They gave me a new card and said to register it online. I've attempted to register the new card, which I've had now for a couple of weeks, and the website says my "membership can't be verified." I signed up for a new account on Autozone.com but there was no place to add my new card number. Apparently the Autozone.com user account and the Autozonerewards user account are two different things? I'm through with Autozone. I hate this sort of runaround! The IRS is easier and simpler to deal with than Autozone's loyalty program. PS: I attempted to enter this comment on their website when cancelling my autozone.com account to clue them in. The site gave an error and said "please enter a valid reason for cancelling your account." I cut the text out and replaced it with "you suck" and it that was apparently acceptable. They must be used to that remark, but aren't capable of receiving constructive criticism. Go to a real auto parts store that doesn't have this mickey mouse gimmick of a "rewards" program.
