One of the worst service experiences I've had I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating service experience at AutoNation Ford Katy (20777 Katy Fwy) that began on March 7, 2026 and took seven days to resolve due to repeated mistakes, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from management. I brought my vehicle in for: * Oil change * Tire rotation * Windshield wiper rubber insert replacement only (not full blade replacement) Despite being very clear about the wiper request, I discovered immediately after leaving that my entire wiper blades had been replaced against my instructions. When I brought this to the attention of the service advisor (Randy), he appeared confused and dismissive. Only one of my original wiper blades could be located, and I was told the technician had already left for the day--suggesting my vehicle was rushed. No accountability was taken, and no solution was offered. Because AutoNation could not correct its own mistake, I had to go to Honda, where I was told I would need to buy new blades since one was missing. I had to rush back to AutoNation before closing just to retrieve the single blade that was found so I wouldn't have to buy two replacements. Shortly after leaving Honda, my tire pressure light came on, which was concerning given that a tire rotation and air check had supposedly been done. The next day, I discovered one valve cap was completely stuck, making it impossible to add air--confirming the service had not been properly completed and that no issue was disclosed. When I returned on Monday to request reimbursement for: 1. The wipers AutoNation incorrectly charged me for. 2. The replacement wiper I had to purchase due to their mistake. I encountered extremely rude and dismissive behavior from a manager named Don, who interrupted me, spoke condescendingly, and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Although he acknowledged the stuck valve cap, he claimed they "didn't have the right size" to fix it--something Honda corrected immediately. Honda also washed my car, which AutoNation didn't do. Reimbursement was delayed and incorrect multiple times, and my name and address were misspelled on both the invoice and checks--showing sloppy handling of customer information. The only bright spot in this entire experience was Henry, another manager. Henry reviewed everything, immediately acknowledged the mistakes, corrected the reimbursements properly, took ownership of the situation, and followed through exactly as promised. He demonstrated genuine professionalism, accountability, and respect--something noticeably absent elsewhere during this ordeal. It is upsetting that a simple service visit escalated into a week-long issue because one manager refused to help. This location's lack of workmanship, professionalism, and accountability reflects very poorly on the AutoNation brand. I strongly urge corporate leadership to review management conduct and service procedures at this dealership. If not for Henry, this situation likely would not have been resolved at all.

Stripped oil plug That the dealership did

Always taken my F-250 to get serviced there, not only have I caught them in multiple lies about work they preformed, they have also damaged stuff on the truck then refused to fix it. This dealership is absolutely terrible don't take your vehicle here find somewhere to take it. Most recently they damaged my drain plug then said "it's a wearable item" the problem is they also damaged the threads on the oil pan the manager looked me in my eyes and said "that's not my problem truck has a lot of millage on it. Truck has 70k on it.

Thank you Mossy Nissan!

Wow - beware of this place, folks. I wish we had looked at these Yelp reviews before wasting my daughter's day off work. What a complete joke. After taking her trade info and luring her in over the phone, the salesman kept her waiting for hours while he claimed he was trying to work out a deal. C'mon, if you can't trade, that's fine, but it shouldn't take half the day to figure that out. Anyway, after reading these reviews about the horrible service after the sale, I think we dodged a bullet by not making this purchase. Whew! Here's a pic of the sweet Nissan my daughter bought at Mossy Nissan just down the road. They made a very good trade in just a couple of hours. Obviously, we should've read Yelp and gone there first.

Never had an issue when bringing my vehicle here. Always see Daniel D. or David C. when I'm in service and they are great each time.

Land Rover West Houston - Suggestion to allow the dealership shop for a loan to avoid multiple inquiries

Land Rover West Houston

I recently purchased a 2026 Range Rover Sport from Land Rover West Houston, and I can honestly say…read morethis was one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. What's funny is that I never intended to buy a Land Rover. I initially reached out about a BMW M4 they had listed online. I had been following that particular M4 on Cars.com and CarGurus for over a month, and since I was in Houston for the World Cup and traveling from Dallas, I thought it would be convenient to stop by and finally see it in person. Andres responded to my inquiry quickly, scheduled me in to see the M4 in person and and had everything ready when I arrived. The M4 was waiting for me in their covered garage and was presented in pristine condition. After taking it for a test drive, I realized that while it was a beautiful car, it just wasn't the right fit for me. At that point, Daniel, the Sales Manager, came by to introduce himself, and I also had a brief conversation with Jimmy their Finance Manager as he was walking by; we talked about the World Cup and the tournament results. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable to speak with. During our conversation, I mentioned to Andres that I had always been curious about Land Rover and had liked the Velar ever since it was first released. Without hesitation, he encouraged me to explore the lineup and suggested I sit in some of the vehicles in the showroom while he grabbed keys for a Velar. The moment I sat in the Range Rover Sport, I was hooked. Over the next several hours, Andres patiently walked me through the Land Rover lineup. I test drove a Velar, a Range Rover Sport Plug-in Hybrid, a Range Rover Sport P400, and even a Defender. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and never once made me feel pressured. His professionalism and product knowledge made the entire experience enjoyable and educational. When we got to the numbers, we weren't initially aligned. After several rounds of discussion, I decided it was getting late and headed back toward Dallas. What happened next really impressed me. About ten minutes after I left, Daniel and Jimmy called me and presented financing terms that made sense and worked for both sides. I turned around, went back to the dealership, completed the paperwork, and drove home in my brand-new 2026 Range Rover Sport. I want to sincerely thank Andres, Daniel, and Jimmy for their professionalism, persistence, and outstanding customer service. They took someone who walked into the dealership intending to buy a BMW and turned him into a first-time Land Rover owner. I never would have imagined that I would leave that day in a completely different vehicle, from a brand I had never owned before. If you're looking for a dealership that values relationships, professionalism, and customer experience, I highly recommend Land Rover West Houston. This team earned my business, and more importantly, they earned my trust.

I took my LR Discovery Diesel to the West Houston LR/RR dealer for an oil change and mileage appropriate look over. They had not finished by end of day so we took a loaner home . The Service Mgr called the next morning telling me they had badly damaged the timing chain and fuel pump all together costing 35,953 and some change. We left immediately and called a tow truck enroute to retrieve my car. LR West Houston has turned it into their insurance company and is not the least worried about the whole affair. I would strongly warn against buying anything from this corrupt dealership. Spread the word !!!!!!!!

You have to pay for it out of your own pocket or you have to wait and then get an Uber. This place is so unorganized AutoNation. You just screw everybody over all the time since I walked in there. I never thought that I'd be so screwed over Chevrolet Lone Star Chev /let I/ they were awesome. It didn't matter what it took. They took care of their people place as a joke when it comes to taking care of their customers and paying for extra why should a customer have to pay? Why should a customer have to do all the extra when he pays for the warranty that the sales person and the finance person condom in to pay for I will never ever buy a vehicle at AutoNation again and if you need something fixed and you're in a different city you can't get it fixed at any different place either. They don't tell you that there's so many hidden secrets with AutoNation that people don't know. Trust me walk away. If you're gonna find something it ain't worth a headache they lie they cheat and they steal.

My honest opinion? Based on my experience with two RAM dealerships in West Houston, Autonation and…read moreHouston Dodge, customer retention is no longer a priority. I originally brought my truck in for a leak while it was still under warranty. The first dealership cleaned the area and reported that no leak was found, covered it up and took no accountability. When I raised my concerns with RAM corporate, I was told the issue was documented and to take it to another dealer. The leak was still present at subsequent oil changes, and a second RAM dealership confirmed it. Despite that, RAM denied the warranty repair. Now I'm left fighting over a problem I reported while the truck was covered. The communication made an already frustrating situation much worse. My service advisor and I were texting back and forth, and he told me he would get back to me. He never mentioned that he was about to leave for two weeks. When I hadn't heard back and texted him the next day, I received an automatic reply saying he was out for two weeks--with no contact information for anyone handling my repair order. I was left with my truck in the shop, no update, and no idea who was responsible for my case. Every time I called, I reached a call center that couldn't get anyone in the service department. Three separate times, I was told a message had been left and someone would call me back. Each time, I waited at least 48 hours before calling again. No callback. I finally paid for an Uber to go there in person, and nobody could help me. By my second visit, what was supposed to be a 24-hour diagnosis had turned into three weeks without meaningful communication. Yes, I was upset. I spoke with the service manager and came away with little confidence in how the department was being run. There appeared to be no clear ownership of my repair, no effective handoff between employees, and no urgency to resolve the situation, he himself said he had no help and was overwhelmed, to be honest that shouldn't be my problem. The manager assured me that my repair order would remain open and that he would call as soon as he heard back from warranty. He said they would work toward a resolution, even if that meant pursuing the first dealership for the cost. I picked up my truck three weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for that resolution. When I contacted my original service advisor about the lack of communication during his absence, he disputed my account and took no responsibility even starting getting lippy with me. My expectation is simple: take care of the customer. I reported the failure under warranty, the leak persisted, and another dealership confirmed it. I should not have to chase multiple dealerships and RAM corporate just to get someone to take ownership. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend either of the two West Houston RAM dealerships I dealt with. Between the warranty dispute, the lack of communication, and the wasted time, they have lost my trust. I expect to purchase approximately 15 vehicles for my company's fleet over the next two years. After this experience, I will not be buying RAM or any of its sister brands. It's not worth the headache.

The mechanic, Willie, was rude and appeared frustrated, tried to pressure me about brakes I didn't request, and repeatedly called me approximately four times back-to-back, even texting me while I was still at the shop -- luckily, I keep unknown callers on silent. They put the wrong oil (5W20 instead of the required 0W20, which is stamped on my oil cap) into my car without asking. I immediately called my usual mechanic, who confirmed that using the wrong viscosity can damage my engine. The oil filter was changed at the same time, meaning it now contains the wrong oil and should be replaced again, but the shop refused to do so. To make matters worse, the owner (I assume) tried to grab my receipt and nervously laughed when I took a picture documenting the mistake. They even left my car running with the windows down after the error was "corrected," creating a safety risk. This shop is careless, disrespectful, and clearly assumes women customers don't know anything about their cars. Women are fully capable of reading manufacturer recommendations and recognizing when something isn't right. I will never return and strongly caution others. I now have to closely monitor my vehicle to ensure it was corrected properly. Willie claimed he was "trying to help," but disregarding manufacturer recommendations is completely unacceptable. For the safety of both your vehicle and your sanity, I strongly advise going somewhere else.

As a first-time…read moreHonda owner, I have serious concerns about the customer service, transparency, and competence of your service team. Last year, I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection with only 18,000 miles on it. The car failed, with the explanation given that it had not been driven enough. I was instructed to return for a re-inspection at no charge, but your team failed to inform me that this needed to be completed within a two-week window. When I returned, I was charged a second time. Unfortunately, my experience this year has been equally frustrating. My registration is due in November 2026. When I brought my vehicle in for service in August 2026, the inspection was completed and passed. However, because your team performed the inspection more than 90 days before my registration was due, I am unable to use it to renew my registration. For a team of automobile experts, failing to know or communicate this rule is unacceptable. Now, I am being asked to pay for yet another inspection to fix your mistake. I was previously considering trading in my vehicle for a CR-V, but dealing with your dealership has proven to be not worth the hassle. This continuous lack of clear communication and unfair charging has completely broken my trust in your business. I hope management takes immediate steps to address these service standards and refund these improper charges.
