We had to buy my daughter a new-to-her car this week. Travis was amazing getting us through the process. She tested positive drove 2 different cars, and we completed the purchase in just over two

I sold them my car and it couldn't have been easier! I went in for the appraisal (make an appt before hand!) and within 30 minutes had an offer 6k higher than the dealer attempted to give me. It was an easy process and I will now consider buying a car from them in the future. Customer service was better than some luxury dealerships in Houston! YES, I absolutely recommend them! I really loved that car and hope whoever buys it has as good a time driving it!!

Photo I sent to the family when I bought it!

I searched for weeks to find the right commute car. I found it Saturday and had it reserved for Monday at Carmax. I had a finite amount of time when I finally made it there (I stopped at some other dealerships on the way). I Test drove the 2018 "Ruby fire red" Chevy Cruze, loved it and purchased it. I was by myself when I purchased it (The dealership is 1 hour away, 4 hours traveled total) so the salesman just told me to park it in the customer lot. So I took my son to a Dr. apt back where I live right when the sale was completed. I bought at 1:15, I got back at 7:15. A Carmax employee apparently hit the bumper of my car, bad enough to dent not only my bumper but dent my trunk in. From the looks of it, it's all cosmetic. They ended up doing a total refund to the lender (today.) Hopefully I can get a new check tomorrow. The worst part about it is they didn't even bother to check stock to see if the car was sold! I drove an hour with my wife and 2 kids to show them the new car, only to arrive to a wrecked vehicle. The next day I talked to Angela, the apparent GM. She stated to me that their compensation to me is "CarMax taking liability" IT WAS THEIR OWN EMPLOYEE THAT HIT THE CAR!! I told her "I bought the car, I'm still interested in the car. Take off TTL and I'll buy it once it's fixed". She replied "When the car is repaired, it will be valued and re-listed" Long story short, I made 6 total 45 minute trips, 1 including my 14 day old son just to get this transaction complete. They didn't notify my when that the car was hit, so I showed up with my family looking like a fool. Sales blamed service, service blamed sales. Nobody showed remorse. Chris (assuming he's some sort of sales manager) and Angela (the apparent GM) did not care in the slightest bit. Even though I had purchased this car just hours before, I was told that I was lucky that it happened on their property, because "if it happened across the street, it would all be on me to get the car fixed".... It was hit by a CarMax employee hours after purchase. Hence the word apparent GM. CarMax is usually my go to, but I'm dumbfounded by how this place is ran. I would avoid it like the plague.

Extremely Disappointed - Would Not Recommend Land Rover West Houston…read more If you're considering purchasing a vehicle from Land Rover West Houston -- especially remotely -- I urge you to think twice. My experience purchasing a 2018 Cadillac Escalade has been nothing short of frustrating, and unprofessional. I bought the vehicle sight unseen after placing my trust in their sales associate, David Hudzietz , who was very helpful and provided detailed photos of the vehicle and assured me the Escalade was in good condition. I specifically asked to be informed of any cosmetic or mechanical issues, including paint, trim, and overall drivability. I purchased the vehicle and had it delivered to Colorado. As soon as I drove the vehicle, I noticed that it had a loud knocking noise coming from the undercarriage (which I immediately documented and shared in a video) and two cracks in the windshield -- both of which were never disclosed. These are not small details. I raised my concerns in a detailed email that was forwarded to the management team Chad Tatum & Daniel Gonzalez by my sales representative. Nearly two weeks later, I have received no follow-up, no acknowledgment, and no attempt at resolution. Instead, I saw a dismissive internal response from the salesman claiming there were "no cracks in the windshield," as if I was making this up -- despite clear photographic evidence and firsthand observation upon delivery. My sales representative assumed it must've happened during the shipping to Colorado. Regardless of when it happened, it should be addressed and taken care of. This dealership was happy to sell me a car, but disappeared the moment a problem arose. That's not just poor customer service -- it's a breach of trust and a complete failure of responsibility. I expected more from a luxury car dealership. If you value transparency, communication, and basic customer care, avoid Land Rover West Houston.

One of the worst service experiences I've had…read more I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating service experience at AutoNation Ford Katy (20777 Katy Fwy) that began on March 7, 2026 and took seven days to resolve due to repeated mistakes, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from management. I brought my vehicle in for: * Oil change * Tire rotation * Windshield wiper rubber insert replacement only (not full blade replacement) Despite being very clear about the wiper request, I discovered immediately after leaving that my entire wiper blades had been replaced against my instructions. When I brought this to the attention of the service advisor (Randy), he appeared confused and dismissive. Only one of my original wiper blades could be located, and I was told the technician had already left for the day--suggesting my vehicle was rushed. No accountability was taken, and no solution was offered. Because AutoNation could not correct its own mistake, I had to go to Honda, where I was told I would need to buy new blades since one was missing. I had to rush back to AutoNation before closing just to retrieve the single blade that was found so I wouldn't have to buy two replacements. Shortly after leaving Honda, my tire pressure light came on, which was concerning given that a tire rotation and air check had supposedly been done. The next day, I discovered one valve cap was completely stuck, making it impossible to add air--confirming the service had not been properly completed and that no issue was disclosed. When I returned on Monday to request reimbursement for: 1. The wipers AutoNation incorrectly charged me for. 2. The replacement wiper I had to purchase due to their mistake. I encountered extremely rude and dismissive behavior from a manager named Don, who interrupted me, spoke condescendingly, and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. Although he acknowledged the stuck valve cap, he claimed they "didn't have the right size" to fix it--something Honda corrected immediately. Honda also washed my car, which AutoNation didn't do. Reimbursement was delayed and incorrect multiple times, and my name and address were misspelled on both the invoice and checks--showing sloppy handling of customer information. The only bright spot in this entire experience was Henry, another manager. Henry reviewed everything, immediately acknowledged the mistakes, corrected the reimbursements properly, took ownership of the situation, and followed through exactly as promised. He demonstrated genuine professionalism, accountability, and respect--something noticeably absent elsewhere during this ordeal. It is upsetting that a simple service visit escalated into a week-long issue because one manager refused to help. This location's lack of workmanship, professionalism, and accountability reflects very poorly on the AutoNation brand. I strongly urge corporate leadership to review management conduct and service procedures at this dealership. If not for Henry, this situation likely would not have been resolved at all.

Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

The mechanic, Willie, was rude and appeared frustrated, tried to pressure me about brakes I didn't request, and repeatedly called me approximately four times back-to-back, even texting me while I was still at the shop -- luckily, I keep unknown callers on silent. They put the wrong oil (5W20 instead of the required 0W20, which is stamped on my oil cap) into my car without asking. I immediately called my usual mechanic, who confirmed that using the wrong viscosity can damage my engine. The oil filter was changed at the same time, meaning it now contains the wrong oil and should be replaced again, but the shop refused to do so. To make matters worse, the owner (I assume) tried to grab my receipt and nervously laughed when I took a picture documenting the mistake. They even left my car running with the windows down after the error was "corrected," creating a safety risk. This shop is careless, disrespectful, and clearly assumes women customers don't know anything about their cars. Women are fully capable of reading manufacturer recommendations and recognizing when something isn't right. I will never return and strongly caution others. I now have to closely monitor my vehicle to ensure it was corrected properly. Willie claimed he was "trying to help," but disregarding manufacturer recommendations is completely unacceptable. For the safety of both your vehicle and your sanity, I strongly advise going somewhere else.
