First of all Kelly the owner contacts you as Jay Lau, so you don't know who you're dealing with. Secondly Kelly will be little you if she thinks you're making a low ball offer. I made an offer for a car, he gave me other options. I didn't like the other options so I told him no thank you and thanked him for his time. He kept messaging me after telling me "Listed this car at $18500 and u are offering 13k". I looked at a Acura TSX at Top Value Auto they were selling a car for $16,995. I offered them 10k and they were ready to sell me the car. Unfortunately I passed on the car but they did not try to be little me and say you are giving us a "low ball offer". Bottom line Jay Luo is a bad sales person. Don't buy a car from him, he will be little you and try to insult you if you make a low ball offer. Jay will keep bothering you after the fact you tell him thank you just to get his point across. He told me I'm taking what he told me to personally but it's actually the other way around. Jay your a sales person don't take it personally when someone makes an offer on a car. I love your response it just shows how awful of a company you own. In August of 2023, I purchased a 2015 Mini Cooper with 48,000 miles for my daughter who is attending college in Honolulu. My daughter has a short commute to school and only drove approximately 500 miles a month. Once the odometer hit about 50,000 miles in Feb 2024 (about 2,000 miles driven), the check engine light came on. My daughter took it straight to the BMW of Honolulu repair shop who diagnosed that the cylinders were misfiring. They quoted over $6000 to repair with no guarantee that the car will operate after the repairs are completed. We then had the car towed to two additional repair shops who specialize in Mini Coopers and they advised us that the vehicle needs an entirely new engine. This car was a lemon. We have been stuck with an inoperable vehicle since February and a $14,000 car loan. No one will purchase this car for more than $1000 now. I live in CA and now my daughter has had to take the bus to school while making car payments. This was the worst car we have ever purchased. I'm hoping the dealership will help us by at least contacting the manufacturer on our behalf to help us with the repairs needed for the vehicle. read more
