Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

It was advertised online by all the online ads - car gurus, etc. as being a HOT CAR and excellent buy which is exactly what Moses the salesman said too. He also convinced my brother and I of how lucky and blessed we were to have the opportunity to buy such a car in such excellent shape and a one owner car at such a cheap price. Being said, there were red flags I should have picked up on immediately but I trusted Moses the salesman because it seemed so honest and assured me of how great this car was. Big red flag was when I asked to test drive it and he jumped in the back seat. When my brother and I wanted to go up to the freeway and give it some gas he objected by telling us to only go a block or two and that the cops were bad in the area so we could only drive 30-40 miles an hour. So much for being an excellent car! I barely made the drive home before all the check engine, fluid level lights came on and it went into LIMP mode, I system doesn't work, won't go into reverse and ALOT more. I excitedly contacted this dealership on Tuesday about a vehicle I found for sale on Craigslist. I called to confirm it was still available on their lot and it was. This is when I meet Kash (Kashif). Kash and I agree on a price, he sends me a purchase order and I start working to get the money in hand. We both make plans to close the deal on Saturday after I'm out of work. From Tuesday to Thursday Kash tried to encourage me to pay him under the table by using Cash App or Zelle multiple times. I declined. Come Friday evening I reach out to him to confirm the price and he tried to slip in extra charges. When I ask how he got to that total he tried to make up a fee that wasn't on the purchase order... After having to call him out on this he finally agrees on the very price we had originally agreed on in the first place and we agree to move forward with the original plan. I was allowed out of work early on Saturday to make the 3hr drive from San Antonio and complete the purchase. I confirmed with him that we were good to go around 11am and he confirms.. about 30 minutes later I message him asking what name to put on the cashiers check. His name or the dealer groups? He sends me a picture of the key on a piece of paper and claims to of sold it to someone else. Truthfully I don't believe him, I think he unraveled the sale because I didn't fall for his attempts to take advantage. This man is exactly what you would expect from a used car salesman. On one of our phone calls he demanded I send him money via cash app and when I explained that I'm uncomfortable with that (no dealer has asked that of me in the almost 2 dozen car purchases I've made in my life) he began to yell and SWEAR at me. He will try to cheat you and lie to you with no remorse.
