We discussed the price, warranties, mileage, features, and options on this loaner vehicle in detail. I made it clear that I was coming down to see it and purchase it today. Archie even told me to ask for Mickey, the Sales Manager. When I arrived, Mickey had no idea I was coming--he was not expecting me. Once we sat down, I was told the vehicle was actually loaned out and not even on the lot. Additionally, the vehicle had 6,000-7,000 miles on it, not the 3,000 miles advertised online or confirmed over the phone. They attempted to "make good" with another deal, but it wasn't even close to comparable. This is a textbook example of deceptive marketing and bait-and-switch tactics: lure customers in with an attractive offer, then try to sell them something more expensive. What's worse, the General Manager, who knew I was coming, did not even have the courtesy to speak to me or apologize for wasting my time. Buyers beware when dealing with this dealership in Rosenberg, Texas.

I recently noticed small pimple like bumps in a small area on the hood. We live the closest to Gay Family Kia, so scheduled an appointment there to have the hood checked out. The service manager said that the area has been repainted and would not be covered under warranty. I explained to him that I have never been in an accident or had any body work done to the car. He replied to me that it was probably damaged during transit and repainted by the dealership and it is probably rail dust surfacing now because preparation for the repaint was not done properLH. He then said it's not Kia's problem and should be taken up with the dealership that sold me the car. Upon calling the service manager at Fortbend Kia, I was told that Fortbend was bought out and is now called Shottenkirk Fortbend Kia (same building) and basically it is not their problem, how convenient! I called customer care at the Kia headquarters two days ago and am still awaiting an answer on if they are gonna take care of the paint. Bottom line, I guess you now have to take a brand new car to be inspected by a body shop prior to making a purchase. I understand that accidents or damage can happen during transit but I feel the customer should be made aware of the body damage before selling the vehicle as new and at full price. I definitely would have taken a hard pass on this $55,000 purchase. Its really ashamed that Kia does not stand behind their product or the dealerships that they have approved to sell their vehicles. Kia should be Kia regardless of the dealership or state!

My daughter bought her Focus from them the same year and had a great experience. My wife bought her car in 2017 as did my other daughter. They all were treated well and got a fair deal. Yesterday, I traded in my 2013 F150 and bought a new truck. They gave me what I wanted on my trade in and the price they gave me on my new truck was $1000 lower than Edmund's and NADA's suggested price. I always do my homework before I purchase a vehicle from any dealer as should everyone. Before Legacy, when I walked out of a dealership I felt like a got screwed. Maybe I'm wiser now. :) The best thing I like about Legacy is they don't go back and forth trying to wear you down to make a sale. I hate that. This last experience with Legacy was the best. I was just going to look at new trucks. I found a truck I liked, but wasn't quite ready to deal. The salesman (Gene Hoot) said he'd email me a quote for my trade in (unseen) and the new truck. Later that day, I got his email. The trade in was $1000 less than I wanted, so I asked for more. They gave me the extra $1000 without discussion. I researched the new truck and realized they were giving me a great deal. Maybe because this was in August and they had a lot of 2019 trucks to get rid of before the 2020's come in. Either way, it was a no hassle purchase. We verbally made an agreement (thru email/phone) and the next weekend we simply walked in and signed the papers. My advice to Yelpers is do your homework. This goes for any dealership you visit. Don't go in thinking you should pay a standard amount below sticker price. When you get ready to sign papers make sure you read them carefully, especially when it comes to the finance figures. If the dealership gives you the run around just walk away. Why do business with someone like that? I think once you establish a relationship with a dealership they will "take care" of you. I truly believe Legacy Ford will do this because they want repeat customers.

Absolute VIP Treatment - The Best Car Buying Experience Hands Down!…read more I don't usually write long reviews, and I will be the first to admit that I am NOT an easy customer. Over the past two weeks, I visited more than 10 different dealerships looking for the perfect vehicle, and most of them just gave me the typical runaround. Finnegan completely flipped the script. From start to finish, this team showed me what a real VIP car-buying experience looks like. (Also, a quick shoutout to the waiting area--having actual free snacks out instead of just making you use a vending machine like those massive corporate dealerships is a really nice touch that I loved!). It started with Maggie, who reached out right after I filled out an online form. Her follow-up was excellent and she got the ball rolling perfectly. When I got to the dealership, I worked with Mr. Obi. What an incredible salesperson! He knew absolutely everything there was to know about the Jeep Wrangler. He was patient, professional, courteous, and took the time to explain every single feature. Even when I called and texted with a million questions, or had to show up late to appointments, he handled it promptly and graciously. To seal the deal, David Cuellar, the Sales Manager, stepped in. David was straight, clear, and incredibly willing to work with me. He was completely honest, professional, and gave me a deal that could not have gone better. He kept his word, cut through the usual dealership games, and made it happen. Best of all, once I finally made the decision to buy, they valued my time and had me completely out the door in less than an hour! Finally, Miss Tisha in Finance wrapped it up flawlessly. She explained every single detail clearly, making me feel 100% confident in exactly what I was signing. No hidden surprises, just pure professionalism. They truly made my dream car come true today. If you want a great experience purchasing a vehicle and want to feel genuinely taken care of, look no more. Go see David, Mr. Obi, and the team at Finnegan!

My car's VIN: 5TDA*******076385 Extremely disappointing experience with Group 1 Toyota Fort Bend regarding a warranty claim. My vehicle's sunroof shattered while driving, with no external impact, and I brought my car to this dealership requesting root cause analysis and warranty repairs. Was told by technician that no external impact was found, which is consistent with my experience. However, dealership supposedly had to escalate the case to Toyota for authorizing warranty repairs, and came back saying "there is no defect with the sunroof, and as such, warranty cannot be honored". I opened a case with Toyota Brand Engagement, to later learn that notes submitted to Toyota by Group 1 Fort Bend dealership, attributed the damage to external impact -- which appears inconsistent with what I was told directly. Based on my experience, issue was not just the warranty denial, but the contradictory communication and lack of transparency in how my claim was handled. When a dealership tells a customer one thing and documents something materially different, it raises serious concerns about trust and fairness. I brought this in expecting an honest evaluation and support on a legitimate warranty concern, but left feeling misled and unsupported. I strongly recommend customers document every conversation, request copies of all inspection findings, and review what is being reported to the manufacturer during any warranty dispute. This one is definitely going to BBB, irrespective of what anybody tries responding to this review.
