My rim after a tire change at Sugar Creek Auto. BEWARE!
    Paul C.

REAL RATING - PLEASE READ - Not an honorable shop - beware! Other posts must be from the owner! Okay, I have a nice, will kept Pontiac G8. I went here to get my car inspected. The shop manager, Chad, came out to speak with me upon competition of the inspection - - - with a quote for new tires. He handed me the unsolicited quote and explained that I would need my tires replaced soon. The quoted "out the door" price was reasonable (they included a swap out the best used tire for the spare tire) - and I was aware the tires were needing to be replaced, so I made an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I again reminded the service tech to attend to the spare tire. They mounted and balanced the four tires and proceeded to give me the invoice......which was $17.11 more than what was originally quoted. They also failed to swap the tire with the spare. I mentioned these facts to Chad and he took my car in the back to get the spare swapped (he also took my money). They used the worst of the tires for the spare (of course, they sell the used tires to the secondary market). When I called Chad on this he took me to the back and showed me the tire they removed from the spare rim and he showed me the other tires they removed. This act pissed him off........... I left the shop and went home to collect the original written quote (I should have taken it with me to the shop). I also checked the pressure in the tires, which were EXTREMELY over pressure - 50 psi. I returned back to the shop where the OWNER greeted me in the driveway. I explained the tires were over-inflated and that I was over charged. He gave me all sorts of excuses why the bill was $17.11 more than the quote, claimed that I was unreasonable. He was quite aggressive and immature with his tone. He ultimately agreed to refund me the money (claiming that I was "pulling one over on him") and adjust the pressure in my tires. He gave me the cash, fixed my tire pressure issue, then told me to never return to his business again. I don't like getting one price and then charged another. Nice way to do business????????? BTW, Chad stayed inside during the conversation because, and I quote from the owner, "he is to pissed to deal with you." Seriously, how does this place stay in business? Later I noticed that I also had one scared rim from the amateur instillation of the tires. Wish I would have taken a picture of all the rims before the instillation. Typical auto shop BS.................. Stay away, you have been warned!!!!!!!!

    So far, so good...

I was promised a phone call at…read moreminimum, by the owners but apparently they are too good to deal with people who spend money at their establishment. Also, I'm confused why they can't understand that it TAKES TIME for a crack to expand. How could you see a crack on tinted tail lights? I didn't even see them until the dealership pointed them out. These people do not want to help, never tried to help, and are crooked business people. Please, do not shop here! Buyer Beware - first of all, the Indian guy that works here is rude as hell. He is clearly someone who had no respect for customers, past or present. I had my tail lights tinted here a year ago. I was not aware, due to the coloring of the lights, that this business cracked my lights. Fast forward a year, and the lights have had time to allow for those cracks to expand. That expansion allowed water to deep into the light, shorting out my light. They are LED lights, so a simple changing of a bulb will not suffice. I had contacted the business to try and remedy this, and of course, they say that someone else must be responsible. The "owners" have no interest in helping or even making themselves available to talk. How professional is that? Pay attention to the bad reviews - they hold merit.

The overall layout felt very familiar, with bulk groceries, frozen foods, clothing, household items, a pharmacy, and a food court. The food court even offers similar staples like pizza and the $1.50 hot dog combo. One thing I enjoyed was seeing ICEE drinks available, which was a nice change from what Costco offers. Prices and product selection were generally comparable, and we found some good deals on sparkling water and chips. We also checked the gas station and noticed fuel prices were essentially the same as the Costco in Sugar Land. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One difference I noticed was that Sam's Club seemed to offer fewer free samples, although that wasn't a major issue for me. My biggest disappointment was the electronics section. Compared to Costco, the selection of laptops, computers, and electronics felt much more limited. There were a few TVs and desktop computers, but not nearly the variety I typically see at Costco. Overall, I had a positive experience and can see why people shop here. However, the differences weren't significant enough for me to jump ship from Costco. If you're already a Sam's Club member, you'll likely find good value, but for now I'll be sticking with Costco.
