I went to Houston to A1 Tire to buy some Vogues. I have been dealing with this place since 2014 and never ever had issues, purchasing wheels. I drove from Austin brought the vogues, went to eat dinner came outside our left front Tire was flat. A1 was closed by this time, we then tried to air it up but that didn't work. Someone at the restaurant told us about a mobile unit that would come out and fix our Tire. The unit came out said the value stem was not put in correctly and that was the reason for the leak. We had to pay 50.00 dollars to get it fixed. Called the next morning spoke to Cash and refuse to reimburse our 50.00 for our inconvenience. was very rude and disrespectful I have never seen that side of him before. Now after spending almost 1900 for the tires the least he could of done was reimburse the money spent, for having to fix an issue that his shop caused. I will never buy anything from this company again and I hope you don't either. We need to spend our hard earn money where they appreciate our business. My only day off is Saturday so I called Friday to order some tires and specifically asked Angela if my tires will be there for Saturday if not I can go somewhere else. She assured me they will be there so I didn't even bother looking at other tire shops. I showed up Saturday and she said to wait and that they are on their way. So I left and came back 30 minutes to an hour. When I showed up she said she tried to call me but I had no missed calls. I said where on my tires and she said they won't be there till Monday. what kind of crap is that now I'm stranded on the freeway with a flat. I use my truck everyday for work so it was very important. If I could give -5 stars I would. Those zipper heads. Worst experience ever! Total time wasters! I found a set of rims I wanted online, but they were back ordered for 6 weeks and I couldn't wait that long because I needed to get my car inspected and my old tires were so shot I failed the inspection. I figured I'd call around town and see if I could find these rims. I called A-1 on a Monday morning and spoke with Carlos ... he says he has them, but they are in Dallas and he can get them here the next day. I say great I want them, how much down do you need, he says nothing, he will order them now ... I explained to him in detail why it was SO urgent that I get these ASAP and is he sure they will be here tomorrow, he said yes, call him tomorrow after 3pm. So I call Tuesday and he gives me some excuse about why they are not in yet but call tomorrow and he will have them, so I call Wednesday and he says "let me order them right now" (WTF, you were suppose to do that Monday) so I again explained the urgency of the situation and told him I cannot wait a second longer and if he can't get them I need to take my business somewhere else. He assures me they will be there tomorrow afternoon and to call back then. So I call back Thursday morning and get him on the line and really quickly he says " I will call you back in 15 minutes" ... well 3:30pm rolls around and he still hasn't called me back, so I call him again and he says very cocky "I said I'd call you back, I'm busy and hangs up". Well needless to say I never heard from him again. The people at this company are full of sh*t and jerked me around all week. I too am a business owner and never in million years would I consider treating a customer like that. If you are reading this Carlos --- screw you for wasting my time like that. If there is anything more unhealthy than eating a donut for two weeks straight, it's riding on one for two weeks straight. I blew out a tire and a friend had told me about this place. I don't drive a ton, so my other three tires still have enough tread to last a good two years. I wasn't in the mood to go to a big box store and spend upwards of $150 for just one tire, so I decided to give A1 a try. You won't find many new name brand tires here. They do have a large inventory of used tires and I assume you can find name brand ones in that bunch. I went with the new no brand tire, and it took $70 and less than 20 minutes for me to get in and out the door. If you just need one tire and are looking to save a little money, this is the place to go. read more

They have new tires from every company you can possibly think of, and if they do not have them in stock, Kash will find them for you. I needed 4 new tires for my 2012 Ram and Kash and Tony got me hooked up with some new Kumho tires. The best part of the pricing was that there is never a tire install fee. DO NOT GET YOUR TRUCK LIFTED BY A-1 tire . They lifted my truck and did not put the carrier bearing spacer on my truck. It has been three months since I got my lift and my bearing and drive shaft have to be replaced . When I called them to ask them about it they blew me off and will not return my calls . You can stop looking for a place to buy tires now. You just found the best tire deal in Houston. Bought 2 sets of 4 Falken Sincera SN211 tires. They had to order the tires in from their supplier and when the supplier mixed up the order Kash (the guy I spoke with) called me and told me to hold off on coming in until he got it cleared up because he knew I was coming in from 50 miles away and he didn't want me to waste my time. Long story short the order mix up was cleared up. I arrived at their shop and had all 8 tires mounted and balanced with new chrome valve stems and was in and out of there in less than an hour.
