First off let me say the professionalism is unmatched. Purchased some wheels and when I got home I noticed some scratches, without hesitation my wheels were replaced with any hassle! Definitely will be getting more of my business. The pricing is fair and seems to be one of the best in the city. Give them a try if you're in the market for wheels or tires. read more

Great service and unbeatable prices! Bought several rim sets here and it's become my go to place even if I have to drive from the suburbs.

Everything went well, merchandise is of good quality. Thanks for places like this one.

Disappointed I bought a new lexani tire, they fixed it for me only for me to be back to the shop after for a fat screw in the tire. So coincidental read more

Extremely happy with A1 tire on my purchase of 26 inch dually AMERICAN FORCE dually wheels. Jonathon and Abad were very helpful. They answered tons of questions/concerns and delivered on every one. Incredible price, best I found looking everywhere. I am from Florida and drove to Houston for them to install also. Many have vibrations and issues with big wheels and tires like this. My 37 13.50 r26 Amp M/T tires are smooth and ride great. They are extremely quiet too which is shocking. I could not be happier with service and shop. The 4 guys working on truck did a great job on installing too! Thank you!! Repeat customer and will spread the good word to all friends. If you call them ask for Jonathon he is very detailed and professional. There is a reason they are so busy read more

Once again A1 tire is the best ! Just got some new tires for my new ram 1500. Called and within the hour they had the tires..

I went to Houston to A1 Tire to buy some Vogues. I have been dealing with this place since 2014 and never ever had issues, purchasing wheels. I drove from Austin brought the vogues, went to eat dinner came outside our left front Tire was flat. A1 was closed by this time, we then tried to air it up but that didn't work. Someone at the restaurant told us about a mobile unit that would come out and fix our Tire. The unit came out said the value stem was not put in correctly and that was the reason for the leak. We had to pay 50.00 dollars to get it fixed. Called the next morning spoke to Cash and refuse to reimburse our 50.00 for our inconvenience. was very rude and disrespectful I have never seen that side of him before. Now after spending almost 1900 for the tires the least he could of done was reimburse the money spent, for having to fix an issue that his shop caused. I will never buy anything from this company again and I hope you don't either. We need to spend our hard earn money where they appreciate our business. Never will I ever, if anyone knows another place to recommend please let me know. I hope this company goes down hill. the way he treated us, we were loyal customers!! read more

Worst experience ever! Total time wasters! I found a set of rims I wanted online, but they were back ordered for 6 weeks and I couldn't wait that long because I needed to get my car inspected and my old tires were so shot I failed the inspection. I figured I'd call around town and see if I could find these rims. I called A-1 on a Monday morning and spoke with Carlos ... he says he has them, but they are in Dallas and he can get them here the next day. I say great I want them, how much down do you need, he says nothing, he will order them now ... I explained to him in detail why it was SO urgent that I get these ASAP and is he sure they will be here tomorrow, he said yes, call him tomorrow after 3pm. So I call Tuesday and he gives me some excuse about why they are not in yet but call tomorrow and he will have them, so I call Wednesday and he says "let me order them right now" (WTF, you were suppose to do that Monday) so I again explained the urgency of the situation and told him I cannot wait a second longer and if he can't get them I need to take my business somewhere else. He assures me they will be there tomorrow afternoon and to call back then. So I call back Thursday morning and get him on the line and really quickly he says " I will call you back in 15 minutes" ... well 3:30pm rolls around and he still hasn't called me back, so I call him again and he says very cocky "I said I'd call you back, I'm busy and hangs up". Well needless to say I never heard from him again. The people at this company are full of sh*t and jerked me around all week. I too am a business owner and never in million years would I consider treating a customer like that. If you are reading this Carlos --- screw you for wasting my time like that. You are a pathetic excuse for a professional. read more

If there is anything more unhealthy than eating a donut for two weeks straight, it's riding on one for two weeks straight. I blew out a tire and a friend had told me about this place. I don't drive a ton, so my other three tires still have enough tread to last a good two years. I wasn't in the mood to go to a big box store and spend upwards of $150 for just one tire, so I decided to give A1 a try. You won't find many new name brand tires here. They do have a large inventory of used tires and I assume you can find name brand ones in that bunch. I went with the new no brand tire, and it took $70 and less than 20 minutes for me to get in and out the door. If you just need one tire and are looking to save a little money, this is the place to go. read more

I don't think i have found a better deal then this place ever!!! Kash, Tony, and their team are amazing. The prices are awesome. They have new tires from every company you can possibly think of, and if they do not have them in stock, Kash will find them for you. I needed 4 new tires for my 2012 Ram and Kash and Tony got me hooked up with some new Kumho tires. The best part of the pricing was that there is never a tire install fee. NTB runs free install specials, but they increase the price of their tires. This place literally doesn't charge a single cent. They had me in and out, and most importantly HAPPY. I will definitely return here for my other cars FOR SURE!! read more

My only day off is Saturday so I called Friday to order some tires and specifically asked Angela if my tires will be there for Saturday if not I can go somewhere else. She assured me they will be there so I didn't even bother looking at other tire shops. I showed up Saturday and she said to wait and that they are on their way. So I left and came back 30 minutes to an hour. When I showed up she said she tried to call me but I had no missed calls. I said where on my tires and she said they won't be there till Monday. what kind of crap is that now I'm stranded on the freeway with a flat. I use my truck everyday for work so it was very important. If I could give -5 stars I would. Those zipper heads. Go to wheel zone across the street the guy helped me out and he's a lot better and s way better deal! read more

Overall good experience. This is my second purchase from these guys. The price reasonable, and straightforward. I recommend calling to see if they have the rims/ tires that you want in stock. Sometimes they have to get them from another location or warehouse. read more

The manager was very rude when I returned after getting new wheels and rims. He had a bad attitude and kept claiming that he can treat his customers however he wants because he owns the shop. He was charging me 2x the amount for hub rings. For some reason no one understood how to balance the tires internally and externally, while another mechanic noticed the imbalance immediately upon inspection. read more

I purchased some new tires and wheels from here recently. They offered me the cheapest price I could ever find. So you are probably wondering why am I giving this place 1 star? Because after they put on the new tires and wheels, my car started to shake vigorously when I drive above 60 mph. Later I realized they did not put the new tires properly. I also found out even though they promised to perform a wheel alignment after putting new tires on, they lied and did not do that. Their service is just terrible. For this reason, I will never go back to this place. read more

Where do I start. Ok ordered my rims and tires. Took 2 weeks. Ok fine. Drove hr and half to Houston. Just to see that they didn't fit and ordered wrong size bolt patterns. Had to get right ones sent in a week. Then go back to get them put on. They fit this time thank God. Drive 20 min down road stop and look at my rims and realized that one lug nut was missing from front right tire. Wow. Never again will I go here. read more

Took my wheel with the tire mounted to just get stretched and one of them kicked the wheel across the floor, mind you the wheel is brand new. I've always had good experience here. I've gotten off brand tires that are the same quality as the ones that Discount Tires tries to sell me for half the amount I would've spent otherwise. You can stop looking for a place to buy tires now. You just found the best tire deal in Houston. Bought 2 sets of 4 Falken Sincera SN211 tires. They had to order the tires in from their supplier and when the supplier mixed up the order Kash (the guy I spoke with) called me and told me to hold off on coming in until he got it cleared up because he knew I was coming in from 50 miles away and he didn't want me to waste my time. Long story short the order mix up was cleared up. I arrived at their shop and had all 8 tires mounted and balanced with new chrome valve stems and was in and out of there in less than an hour. Great prices, excellent communication, excellent service.....you will be pleased. read more
