Very disappointed with my experience at Discount Tire. I was specifically told that they operate on…read morea first-come, first-served basis. The manager even told me, "We can see who gets here first." I was also told that around 7:30 AM, employees would come outside and ask the customers who arrived first so they could be helped in the correct order. That did not happen. I arrived at 6:40 AM and waited because I was told that if I was the first customer there, I would be the first one helped. No one came outside at 7:30 like I was told. They finally came out around 8:00 AM, and by that point several other customers had arrived. Instead of honoring the first-come, first-served system they explained to me, they took multiple people who arrived after me before they took me. What makes this even more frustrating is that I arrived that early specifically because of what their employees told me. I held up my end by getting there early and waiting, but they did not honor what they told me. I also was told that my car would be done by a specific time and again they lied about that as well. Lies all around this Discount Tire. I also was not given a receipt. I would not recommend coming to this location unless you're prepared to be told one thing and have them do something completely different. If you tell customers it is first come, first served, then you need to actually honor that. Go across the street to Firestone.

At one point I walked out of waiting room and there was a lady there and she asked if I needed any help and had been waited on. After I told her my truck was already in the back, she asked if I needed anything or If something was wrong. Very tentative and customer service oriented there. They got done with my truck. I paid and while at the register, I asked if my locks had been put back in glove compartment. They said they would check and before they could a young man came from back and said I forgot these and handed to me. I noticed a wet spot under my truck and mentioned it to the young man checking me out and he came outside and crawled under my truck looked and confirmed it was water and not from my truck. While there I asked how the balance on the tires went he went and check with the crew and said it went well. He was such a big help and friendly from the moment I walked into the business. My first experience here is outstanding, i will be returning for my next oil change. One last item, the waiting room is the best. Comfortable chairs and a coffee bar. Outstanding. I tested them out with something small but I couldn't do it myself. They not just tell fix the problem but they told me a cheaper solution (who does that?) After a few more time of fix my car. I work in the healthcare field, and I was on my way to help someone who truly needed me. Instead of showing any understanding or willingness to assist, the employee told me he couldn't help and then let the remaining air out of my tire. That was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. The way I was treated has made me not want to return or spend my money there again. Customer service and basic human decency go a long way, and unfortunately, neither was shown today.
