I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I simply asked for help with air for my tire because I had a very important appointment to get to. I work in the healthcare field, and I was on my way to help someone who truly needed me. Instead of showing any understanding or willingness to assist, the employee told me he couldn't help and then let the remaining air out of my tire. That was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. The way I was treated has made me not want to return or spend my money there again. Customer service and basic human decency go a long way, and unfortunately, neither was shown today. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Discount Tire. What should have been a simple tire rotation and balance turned into three days of frustration and unnecessary repairs. After their service, I discovered that the lug nuts had been cross-threaded and the stud was severely over-torqued to the point that it became dislodged. This is basic mechanical work, and there is absolutely no excuse for that level of carelessness. Because of their poor workmanship, I had to spend three days correcting the damage caused during what should have been routine service. Even more frustrating was their refusal to acknowledge responsibility. There was no accountability, no ownership of the mistake, and no effort to make things right. That lack of integrity is just as concerning as the mechanical failure itself. This experience reflects poorly on the training and management of the staff. Customers trust service professionals to handle their vehicles properly and safely. Cross-threaded lug nuts and over-torqued studs are not minor oversights -- they are safety issues. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location based on the workmanship, lack of accountability, and overall poor service experience. read more

Beyond disappointed and frustrated. When I initially called for assistance, Bren was beyond helpful and accommodating. I got a flat tire on the way out of town about 40 minutes west of their store (the closest tire shop that I called that had my tire). He confirmed my tire was in stock and they had a van available for mobile roadside assistance. I paid in full for the tire, installation and roadside assistance. Shortly thereafter, the van driver, Ethan, called confirming he was on the way with my tire and he would be to me in 43 minutes. Exactly 10 minutes later, I get a call from discount that they could no longer could come to me because it was too far and I would need to be towed to them. I asked for further explanation but they couldn't give me any but they would refund me. Why I'm writing this is because as a young woman stuck alone on the side of the road, to have someone confirm and have paid for help then to have it taken away with little to no explanation in an extremely rude manner from the manager, Doug, is beyond disappointing and hope nothing like this happens to anyone's daughter, sister, mother, wife. Maybe don't promise assistance, assure a stranded crying girl that you're on the way AND request payment in full if you aren't 100% sure you're able to help someone. Shame on you. read more

I took my car in to get two new tires. Right After I went I found a dent on my car along with grease. It had not been there before and I found it later that day. When I went to back to talk to them about it they said that there is no way to prove it was their fault, and they did nothing to help me. They acknowledged that there was grease on the car and wiped it off, but said there's nothing to prove the dent was from them although the dent was not there before and the grease was directly over it. They handled it very unprofessionally and just dismissed me. After going here for years I will never again go back to this discount tire. read more

Wow! I usually use a warehouse membership store that starts with a C for tires. Never again! At the recommendation of a neighbor I tried this Discount Tire. Amazing service. The salesperson was happy to look up the prices and quality of multiple tires so that I could make an informed decision. He also made recommendations based on the long mileage trips that I make vs city driving. Start to finish the job took 1 1/2 hrs. I was back on the road in no time and my new tires look great. As an added bonus, the business offers free rotation and balance. Nobody likes the surprise cost of new tires....but dare I say that Discount Tire made it painless. I understand there will be an up-sale but come on. Went in for a tire rotation. Attempt 1: The guy says my tires look great but I need new windshield wiper blades which I just had replaced 2 months before. He said they are streaking. I pointed out there is a leaf under the wiper blade that caused the streak. Attempt 2: When I returned for my Tahoe I was told that 2 of the wheel caps broke off when they were being removed because they were old. He was happy to look up the cost to have them replaced. I said so you broke this and want me to pay to fix it which his reply was yes. I walked out irritated. Then this morning at 3:50AM I got a text to remind me of the appointment I already had. I've tried this for 2 weeks now. I've went to discount tire on December 7th and they damaged my wheel. They're dodging the responsibility to take care of my $750 wheel. When I went past week because I didn't hear anything from "Jose" the manager of the site. I went and I spoke with one of the service advisor and I saw he started check my car and take pictures A WEEK AFTER. They not only scratched my wheel. They lost my 76 dollars valve stem caps. THIS SERVICE ADVISOR told me to bought the valve stem caps and he will give me the refund. I ORDER THE CAPS IN FRONT OF HIM and he told he doesn't have cash. That he can give credit for my valve stem caps. It's been two weeks and my wheel is still damaged. They made paid for something i did not have to. And I don't receive a single email regarding my situation. I went to discount tire because I thought they were gonna have care on my 3k wheel set. One kid took care on 3 wheels and he did not did bad at all. The last kid had to pry the tire on to the wheel with a bar he scratched it. Why they don't wanna take responsibility of this. Someone recommended any Discount Tire I went in to fix a nail in my tire and as I walked in the place was empty, no one available to talk to me and get me checked in. There were many people waiting for service. A rep walked in completely ignored me standing by the door and when I asked if I could speak with with him about my tire he said I would have to wait and he wasn't very nice either. I get waiting for service but waiting standing for a simple "hello" or to check in when no one else was waiting to check in is the worse customer service I've ever seen. Of course I walked away and came to Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers down on Mason by Red River Restaurant and they greeted me right away, even though they were busy, checked me in and then I waited happily for service, seated. They changed the 4 tire sensors and they did not work, they made me go 3 times because my screen did not read them, I went to GMC and there they gave me a report where it said that the sensors were old, I returned to discount tire and the employees did not know how to fix them, a manager was the one who could do it, the employees are not well trained, lousy service, I do not recommend this store that has employees with little availability and do not have the required knowledge. read more

Awesome staff, was very helpful and patiently answered all my questions. Finished the job (balancing) sooner than the time they promised. Also, I had a misunderstanding about their tire warranty, which I provided in the feedback survey, and got a call back from the manager. I have usually never seen those survey results getting used anywhere. So, I was happy to see it didn't get unnoticed. I had an 8 AM Monday morning appointment so I got there at 7:40 fully expecting to stand in line till they opened at 8 AM. I waited in my car till the first guy began the line. "SWELL," I thought, "I'll stand there till 8 and then be ushered into the shop." Much to my surprise, newer manager Doug McCollum had his guys out on the sidewalk at 7:50 AM! I met Tyler (who was great on the phone!) who immediately directed me to bay #2. I was in and out by 08:05! Kudos to Doug and Tyler for a wonderful customer experience! Broken Lugs (2008 Honda CR-V) - Daughter had a flat so I installed the spare, by hand...without power tools. Employees broke a lug trying to remove the spare tire. They called to inform her of the broken lug and to ask to move forward. They broke a second lug and referred her to Cinco Auto to repair at cost to my daughter!! Apparently, since she gave them permission to continue they are no longer at fault. Of course, they do not tell you this until after the 2 broken lug!!! This not the cheapest place to get tires however the service you receive is worth it. I called to get a quote on tires and I have always gotten my tires here but I felt is was a little to high so I shopped around. At other places I could have saved around $100 with a rebate but the service was TERRIBLE. I called about 5-6 places including my own dealership who was by far the worst and I was done. Not only is the staff friendly at this place but they don't try and manipulate you into other things or more expensive things. Being a girl and not knowing anything about cars this happens quite often. They give you a tracker while your car is being worked on and the time expectations are pretty accurate.
