Truly awful care and customer service. Twice in recent months I've had my car in for tire work and both times my leather has been absolutely destroyed and discolored by employees leaving sticky black grease marks all over the door handles and armrests. On the first occasion I called and got a dismissive attitude from the employee on the phone. I ended up shelling out my own money to detail the car yet the stains caused permanent discoloration. On the second occasion my service advisor offered some basic apology, but his manager, when looking at the car, did not. He simply said "that was the before." Of course I have pictures that prove it wasn't. They directed me to the car wash place next door where they could theoretically clean the car and bill discount tire directly. Of course when I show up at the car wash place they refuse to bill discount tire directly. So I called discount tire and ask an employee to walk over and pay directly. The guy that showed up a few minutes a layer to play was an absolute jerk, barely acknowledging me, offering literally no apology for the hassle or the ruined leather, and simply treated me like -I- was the inconvenience. Today, I visited Discount Tire Store # TXH80 to check the balance in my tires. As I was about to leave, I noticed that my white Tesla interior had multiple black spots and dirt on the car seat. When I asked the gentleman to look at it, he responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, "It's a tire shop, and it's dirty." He looked at me as if I were an idiot and left without offering any assistance. I was shocked by his response and expected a simple apology and an offer to clean the seat. Instead, I was left feeling disappointed and treated poorly by the employee. I rushed inside the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty, Dmas. I explained the situation to him and expressed my disappointment in how the customer was treated. He came over and attempted to clean the seat. When I asked him to share the name of the employee who had been responsible, he admitted that he wasn't sure about his name. I've been a customer of Discount Tire for 20 years, and this experience has been a major disappointment. The employee's behavior represents a poor standard of service that I've come to expect from Discount Tire. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who has been treated this way. I understand that my car interior is white, and I have the right to choose its color. However, I don't expect a tire shop to be dirty just because it's a tire shop. I also don't expect to have to clean my car seat myself because the employee who was supposed to take care of it didn't do his job. I have a solution that I believe would work for your employer. You can provide a plastic cover for the car seat that looks like the ones sold at multi-level stores. I recommend booking an appointment in advance because this place can go from calm to full-on busy at anytime. The staff is always friendly, patient, and efficient, even when things get hectic. Wait times are usually accurate and service is great. When it's busy, best move is to bring something to the store to stay busy while the crew works. Came in here with the recommendation to change just 2 front tires after my dealership and Costco had recommended it. The representative that assisted with the process was unprofessional, borderline rude and condescending. I've always had good service with discount tires in every city I lived but this time, my experience this time was extremely pushy. She keep insisting that I change all 4 tires over and again after I stated I only want 2 front tires changed. If 2 places who normally change out tires didn't recommend changing out all 4, why does she feel the need to strongly suggest their advice is inadequate. I show up for my appointment on time. A guy goes out, spends a couple of minutes staring at my dually, comes in and asked me to go to my truck with him. He proceeds to try to sell me 6 new tires...repeatedly. Due to my not purchasing $2,000+ in 6 tires today, my appointment was delayed 45 minutes before being put in the garage.
