What happened at this location today was completely unacceptable. One of the managers apparently decided that he was going to charge my wife nearly FOUR TIMES the amount she had previously been charged to install two tires that she brought in herself. What makes this even more outrageous is that she had brought in two other brand-new tires less than two months ago and had them installed at a specific price. Yet today, for essentially the same service, this manager suddenly attempted to charge her almost quadruple. So I would genuinely like an explanation: what exactly changed in less than two months that justified increasing the installation price by nearly 400%? Because from where I'm standing, it certainly looks like someone saw a woman standing at the counter and decided they could take advantage of her. If that wasn't the reason, then Discount Tire should have absolutely no problem explaining exactly what justified such an enormous and completely inconsistent price increase. My family and I have been customers of Discount Tire for OVER 20 YEARS. That kind of loyalty should mean something. Instead, my wife was put in a position where she had to challenge a ridiculous charge just to receive the same pricing she had received less than two months earlier. Yes, in the end they honored the previous price--but that does NOT excuse what happened. The fact that this situation occurred in the first place speaks volumes. A customer should not have to argue, push back, or prove what they were previously charged just to prevent themselves from being grossly overcharged. And I want to be perfectly clear: I will NOT tolerate anyone attempting to take advantage of my wife--or any customer--because they believe they can get away with it. If this is the type of behavior Discount Tire permits from its management, then after more than two decades of giving this company our business, my entire family will gladly take that business somewhere else. Furthermore, I have a social-media audience of approximately 4 million followers on TikTok, and I have absolutely no problem publicly documenting exactly what happened at this location, including the previous installation price, what my wife was initially quoted today, and how the situation was handled. This isn't about a few dollars. It's about integrity, consistency, and how you treat your customers. Attempting to charge someone nearly FOUR TIMES the previous price for essentially the same service and then backing down only after being challenged is disgraceful. Discount Tire management should be looking very closely at what happened here and asking why a longtime customer was ever put in this position in the first place. Twenty-plus years of loyalty can disappear very quickly when customers feel like they're being taken advantage of. I would like to add as well, please tell your techs to take their greasy gloves off when they drive our vehicles, I'm tired of wiping grease off of my steering wheel, door handle, and gear shifter.... CMON NOW this is common sense. Stop being lazy!!! read more

Truly awful care and customer service. Twice in recent months I've had my car in for tire work and both times my leather has been absolutely destroyed and discolored by employees leaving sticky black grease marks all over the door handles and armrests. On the first occasion I called and got a dismissive attitude from the employee on the phone. I ended up shelling out my own money to detail the car yet the stains caused permanent discoloration. On the second occasion my service advisor offered some basic apology, but his manager, when looking at the car, did not. He simply said "that was the before." Of course I have pictures that prove it wasn't. They directed me to the car wash place next door where they could theoretically clean the car and bill discount tire directly. Of course when I show up at the car wash place they refuse to bill discount tire directly. So I called discount tire and ask an employee to walk over and pay directly. The guy that showed up a few minutes a layer to play was an absolute jerk, barely acknowledging me, offering literally no apology for the hassle or the ruined leather, and simply treated me like -I- was the inconvenience. I'm done with this place. read more

Today, I visited Discount Tire Store # TXH80 to check the balance in my tires. As I was about to leave, I noticed that my white Tesla interior had multiple black spots and dirt on the car seat. When I asked the gentleman to look at it, he responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, "It's a tire shop, and it's dirty." He looked at me as if I were an idiot and left without offering any assistance. I was shocked by his response and expected a simple apology and an offer to clean the seat. Instead, I was left feeling disappointed and treated poorly by the employee. I rushed inside the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty, Dmas. I explained the situation to him and expressed my disappointment in how the customer was treated. He came over and attempted to clean the seat. When I asked him to share the name of the employee who had been responsible, he admitted that he wasn't sure about his name. I've been a customer of Discount Tire for 20 years, and this experience has been a major disappointment. The employee's behavior represents a poor standard of service that I've come to expect from Discount Tire. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who has been treated this way. I understand that my car interior is white, and I have the right to choose its color. However, I don't expect a tire shop to be dirty just because it's a tire shop. I also don't expect to have to clean my car seat myself because the employee who was supposed to take care of it didn't do his job. I have a solution that I believe would work for your employer. You can provide a plastic cover for the car seat that looks like the ones sold at multi-level stores. This would prevent dirt and debris from getting into the seat and would make it easier to clean. read more

I've been going to this Discount Tire since it opened, for everything tire-related--installs, rotations, balancing, repairs, and TPMS replacements. I recommend booking an appointment in advance because this place can go from calm to full-on busy at anytime. The staff is always friendly, patient, and efficient, even when things get hectic. Wait times are usually accurate and service is great. When it's busy, best move is to bring something to the store to stay busy while the crew works. Try not to engage in any small talk with the customers waiting, as they can be uptight. All that said, this location is well run, reliable, and solid. read more

Great location, spacious, has a field behind if you need to bring your animal. Staff is friendly but my only feedback is I believe the priority of checking in a client who is in person vs drafting a quote for someone on the phone is more important. Overall super happy with the service and the time they quoted me was the time I was in and out. Thank you guys! read more

Got a flat tire this morning and brought it in. They noted 2 of my tires are at level 4. The tech told me my color coded tire indicator was causing the leak and found the tire was OK. Came to simply get my tires checked. Waited for 15 minutes while multiple employees walked past myself and several other cars. I've been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I had an appointment today for 11:00. I was here and checked in on time. At 11:35 they were still trying to figure out how to get the job going - system isn't giving correct info, do we have the tires, we need to collect payment, blah blah blah. They had the tires they were already paid for. It's now 12:35 and they are just finishing a 2 tire installation. Although, they've already called the job complete 29 minutes ago because they are fudging their numbers back to corporate. So done with this company. I had a negative experience last year but I've been a loyal customer for over 30 years so I let it slide, somewhat. I went in recently to get a plug for one tire - slow leak.... The advisor went out and measured the tread depth on every tire, not just the one that had the leak, and came back inside to tell me that all my tires were "shot" and I'd need 4 new tires. Funny, because I'd only put about 15 miles on them since getting my state inspection. The advisor seemed genuinely dumbfounded when I didn't accept his bull$hit. I drove across the street to Sam's club and got the tire plugged without any issues or attempts for an upsell scam. F off Discount Tire. You don't want my business so you won't get it. read more

Came to get my flat tire fixed. They told me it wasn't repairable and paid $340 for one tire. They lost the MINI cap on the tire and after waiting for almost an hour they told me to go home. They called me the following day to tell me they had found it. When I came back to pick it up I had to wait for almost 30 mins again. Go somewhere else: read more

I would give them 5 stars except for one thing. Every time I come here, they are so busy that they get in a hurry and make mistakes. They don't pay attention to the details. For example, as soon as I drove away, my tire pressure light came on. That shouldn't happen. For another thing, I always have to check the valve stem caps to make sure they are screwed on all the way, because they usually aren't. They also did not prorate my tire like they said they would. read more

Very disappointed with this place because they try to sell me 4 tires while I was getting my tires balanced and rotated. After I told them I purchased the tires here and is less than a year old. They did not realize I used my work number instead of the number in the their system. All of sudden they are tracking back and trying to recover for what they said. Stop being unethical and this will be the last time I purchase from this place. BE AWARE!!!!! read more

Came in here with the recommendation to change just 2 front tires after my dealership and Costco had recommended it. The representative that assisted with the process was unprofessional, borderline rude and condescending. I've always had good service with discount tires in every city I lived but this time, my experience this time was extremely pushy. She keep insisting that I change all 4 tires over and again after I stated I only want 2 front tires changed. If 2 places who normally change out tires didn't recommend changing out all 4, why does she feel the need to strongly suggest their advice is inadequate. I recommend getting other opinions first from others in the industry before blindly going into this location. read more

I would not recommend this location unless you feel like returning multiple times. It seems I never learn my lesson here. I use this location because I live close and it's convenient. My first time here my tires weren't balanced correctly and my tire sensors weren't functioning right.. had to return to fix. Came back to get tires rotated a few months later and the lost the center cap. Just bought new tires ($1,400 mind you) and gain they weren't balanced right and I have to return again. I have purchased many sets of tires on many of my trucks and cars, almost exclusively from Discount Tires. I made an appointment for tire rotation on my F-350 dually 24 hrs in advance. I show up for my appointment on time. A guy goes out, spends a couple of minutes staring at my dually, comes in and asked me to go to my truck with him. He proceeds to try to sell me 6 new tires...repeatedly. Due to my not purchasing $2,000+ in 6 tires today, my appointment was delayed 45 minutes before being put in the garage. There is no money in a tire rotation, but you can lose longtime customers that spend a lot of money. You may pressure a housewife into a needless new tire purchase. Not me. read more

I'm very disappointed in the run around I am having from store to store I was visiting family in Michigan and before I left to return home I wanted to get my air checked on my tires so I went to the local store in Traverse City and the employee recommended a warranty check on my 2 front tires but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock and they are the only discount tire in town but he said he would give me the warranty quote and even call my local store in Richmond Texas to check if they would take care of me . I made a online appointment the following Tuesday (today) but when I arrived the manager and employee would not honor the warranty because they claim it was natural wear and tear I just don't understand why it would be different from store to store when the quote was in my profile and was told to me it would be honored . I have always bought at discount tire for 30 plus years but this really upset me . Guess I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed in the service . I was embarrassed in front of other customers by the tone of the managers voice it was obvious he was trying to speak loudly for others to hear . Very unprofessional. read more

Came in to get tires rotatin on a 99 Tacoma SR5. Tire were not bought here so there is a cost for this. I believe it was somewhere around $50+ and I believe that's just for one time balance and rotation. But if you want the lifetime balance and rotation (for the remaining life on your current tire) it will run you $120+. So just buy tires here if you want life time balance and rotation for your tires. But correct me if I'm wrong too. read more

Going to be honest here - when needing to go to discount tire i dread it. Had to search for the ones with the best reviews because many times its a not so pleasant experience. I was coming here for a tire rotation and i can understand how priority you would rather prioritize the paying customers and not really waste your time with a non paying customer. Ross did the job with friendliness, thoughtfulness, and the will to work. I brought in a tesla and times they can look at u up and down, and not really care about your car - with white seats they told me to just pull up, they found a nail in my tire in my tire and they made sure all the things i needed to get done were checked off and confirmed. Great job Ross and team. Fast service also coming in during a lunch break on Monday read more

I feel like I am at Discount Tire wayyyyyy too often. My car has an alignment issue that causes the tires to wear unevenly and show the silver wire in the tire which is dangerous. The first time this issue appeared I went in for a balance and alignment and was told it was fixed but here it is doing it again. Oscar and Corey D helped me out and gave me a good price for 2 new tires and got me out of there in about a hour - enough time to make it to my nephews birthday party. Glad I didn't blow a tire on the highway this time - happy it was caught before that happened. read more
