Lately my dealership has been awful and I can't schedule an oil change. So I started looking at alternatives. Take 5 really does a good job of advertising because all of the cringy commercials I remembered their brand and when I searched google a coupon popped up. I was able to book an appointment online but when I got there, there was only 1 car in front of me so I was in within 10 minutes. When I talked to the tech they explained that the empty bay is used for appointments. So they do operate on a first come first serve basis but if you do have an appointment you can skip the line and use the bay. As far as the options it's not cheap. I went with the high mileage Mobil full synthetic. Upwards of $120 because my vehicle takes 6 quarts. The dealership is about that price so I was shocked it higher non dealership. But you know what, I was able to get an oil change the same day within about 15 minutes. I'll take for that convenience. You've earned a repeat customer out of me.

I've trusted this auto repair shop for years with all of our family's cars, but this last visit was…read morethe worst experience we've ever had. My mom brought her car in because it was hesitating to accelerate past 50 mph. After paying $189 for a diagnostic service, the mechanic first said the engine had failed and even gave her a quote for a full engine replacement. Later, the story changed -- first to a catalytic converter issue and then again to something else. When she picked up the car, it was in worse condition than before. It wouldn't go over 10 mph, and they admitted they already knew it was running that way but still let her drive it into traffic without warning her. The only reason they looked at the car again was because it came back in such bad shape. They were combative when we asked questions, and the engine cover wasn't even secured afterward. This used to be a shop we trusted, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent diagnostics, and disregard for safety were unacceptable. If you're looking for honest mechanics and reliable diagnostics, I would strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere.
