Their pricing is on the medium-to-high side for the area, though still cheaper than the dealer. I needed an oil leak repaired. There was an $80 inspection fee before repair, and it didn't count toward the total repair cost. I did appreciate how quickly they handled everything and that they offered a ride home. When I picked up my vehicle, I had some questions about my bill. I politely asked about the labor charges because I was confused by how high they seemed. It showed $80 in labor to fill the vehicle with oil, even though it was already in the shop and had been drained after the repair. While my service advisor was reviewing it, another advisor helping someone else made an unsolicited snarky remark: "We have to charge labor--what, you want us to fill it with your used oil?" I had no issue paying for new oil; the labor charge just didn't make sense to me. My advisor found that it had been entered in error and removed most of that labor charge. There was no apology. I'd like to think the mistake would have been caught even if I hadn't said anything. As for the quality of the repair, it's hard to say for now--everything seems fine, and time will tell. I also later learned the repair should have a two-year warranty, which was never mentioned. Overall, I left feeling upset and irritated by the experience.

We just happened to find Texan Auto looking for a second opinion to purchase a used car. The Manager, Rush told us what to look for and to stand our grounds to the salesman tactics. He pretty much helped us negotiate the car deal and he just met us. My family have been loyal customers ever since. It's a relief to be able to take your car somewhere and know that they are honest and reliable. The whole staff, Sean, and the old school mechanic have been very friendly. They take time to explain to us about our cars. Once he was short on staff and I needed inspections that day, Rush called his competitor to make sure I got the inspections done that day. Oh, they love doggos. I waited outside with my dogs and Sean told us they are welcomed in the waiting room where everyone came and petted them! Do ever get a hug from your mechanic? I brought in my 2018 Cadillac Escalade, and everything went downhill from there. They damaged my wheels while replacing the tires. Then they charged me $12,000 for front struts and rear air bag replacements--only for me to bring the vehicle back because the front strut wasn't installed correctly. They claimed they were "under new management" and would "make it right," but nothing was ever fixed properly. They also insisted my spark plugs needed replacement. Supposedly they did the job, but the moment I picked up the vehicle it was ticking, running rough, and performing worse than before. They kept the car again and told me it was "good to go." It wasn't. The Escalade broke down on Saturday. I had it towed to Firestone, who immediately found an exhaust leak causing the ticking noise--and worse, they showed me the spark plugs that this shop installed. They were stripped. To make things even shadier, this place doesn't provide proper paperwork for the work they claim to perform. Between the sloppy repairs, the outrageous charges, and the lack of documentation, this shop is absolutely untrustworthy. I also contacted the corporate office and received no response. Save yourself the headache and consider bypassing this business. It seems their focus is on taking your money rather than properly completing repairs. No Customer Service.
