This turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. The shop charged $221.94 just for the battery service, which was particularly disappointing considering a local O'Reilly's had offered to do the installation for free if I purchased the battery from them. The service was also plagued by unnecessary delays and oversight. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for two unexpected Uber rides because the shop kept my vehicle overnight, claiming the mechanic lacked the "proprietary tool" required to remove the battery. In reality, the job only requires a standard 10mm socket for the terminals and a 13mm socket with an extension for the hold-down bolt. To make matters worse, despite paying for a tire rotation, the shop completely missed that two of the rotated tires were left low on pressure. I chose to support a neighborhood business, but this experience was a lesson well learned.

Communication has been inconsistent, and more recently, they have completely stopped responding to my follow-ups. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but even with that, the issue remains unresolved and has been delayed for an extended period. It is very disappointing to see a company avoid accountability like this. I simply wanted a fair resolution for damage that occurred during their service. Luckily I've had only positive experiences. Not only do I service my car there but I also get my oil changes. It's just convenient to get everything done in one place. I prefer this over a random mechanic. I have usually dealt only with Oscar but recently I was with Norman. I've had all my fuel injectors changed, shocks, spark plugs, alignment, gasket replacement, oil filters, coolant flush, and more. Usually everything gets done within the day. I drop off the car in the morning and it's ready by the time I leave work. How convenient. Prices might be a little higher than other places but it's nice to know they use all original parts and they have warranty over work they do. They've also been very diligent and honest about the work they do or could do, or things you could wait on. Communication is top tier especially when I've dealt with Oscar and now Norman. I'm happy I found a forever place for my car. They usually have specials and work with you on coupons and other ways to try and save some money. I've been really happy and I recommend this location for future services to your car.

No big deal. I have used this location for over thirty years, and it is nowhere near the experience it was prior to the last change in ownership. The waiting area was packed, and we were treated to rap music coming from the bay so loud it rattled the glass in the windows between the shop and sales area. The chairs, if you got one, are rock hard and the backs don't feel like they have any angle to them at all. The restroom was filthy as well There were two guys on the sales floor while the music blared, so that looks like business as per usual. If you need to wait, be sure to bring a cushion, ear plugs, and a bottle of hand sanitizer in case nature calls.
