I had great customer service there now I moved to Richmond and I visit this location for all my tiring needs and they do a fantastic job. Their customer service is amazing even when they're dealing with crazy unruly people just set up an appointment online and they'll take care of you quickly. I do recommend buying a certificate because it just makes repairs so much easier I had a nail and they patched it for free within a few minutes whichever location you go to. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this store. They will never get my business again. This review is to warn others to seriously re-cosider doing business with this sre. Shady people tend to always do shady things. On 4/23/25: I noticed a minor leak in my passenger rear tire. This tire had been bought with a warranty from discount tires. The only reason I went to the store on this date was to have this tire taken care of. I was met by technician 1 who agreed that there was a leak. He proceeded to go inspect my wind shield wipers (there was no issue here, I am not so sure what prompted him to do this). He then reported to me that one of my wind shield wipers had a minor spilt and that I needed to change both wind shield wipers as a preventative measure to protect my wind shield from damage, as my wind shield was in perfect condition. After some consideration, I agreed to move forward with changing the wind shield wipers as a preventative measure to protect my wind shield from any damage in future. My vehicle was ready for pick up at aound 5:38 pm (this store closes by 6pm) so I was one of the last customers to pick up my vehicle that day. Soon after leaving the store, I noticed a CRACK on the lower part of the passenger side of windshield. I immediately knew that this damage was caused during the process of changing my wind shield wipers at the discount tires sore. The time was past 6 p.m. so the store was closed and I could not head back there to make the report. On 4/24/25: I called the store first thing in the morning to report the damage to my wind shield and later that morning stopped by the store to make an in person report and also have the team there inspect my vehicle. To my absolute amazement and shock the 3 people who spoke to me came up with 3 different stories/perspectives for the windshield damage. All trying to gas light me and blame me for causing the damage. Story 1: The tech who checked me in maintained that there was no damage to my wind shield when I dropped off my car the previous day. He did not comment on what may have caused the crack. Story 2: The tech who worked on my vehicle stated that the wind shield was already cracked when I dropped off my vehicle for maintenance. He stated that no tools were needed to change my wind shield wipers so he did not contribute to this crack that he had already noted when he received the care. Story 3: The director of the store stated that the crack was caused by a rock hitting my wind shield after I left their store. Please what are the chances that within minutes of leaving the discount tire store a random rock would hit my wind shield to cause damage at the area where the wind shield wiper was worked on?! The team in essence made a concerted effort to gas light me and call me a liar. I have had several prior with other discount tire locations in the past and this experience was deeply disappointing and frustrating. The team at the store stated that they would submit a claim to their claims department. 4/30/25: I received an email communication from the claims department that stated that discount tires would not take responsibility for the damage done to my wind shield. This determination was made by them despite the: testimony of the tech 1 who checked me into the store 4/23 that my wind shield had no damage upon my arrival at the store, the inconsistency (lie) that tech 2 stated that my wind shield was cracked upon check in, the time stamped photo I presented that showed that the damage to my wind shield was noticed by me within the hour of me leaving their store. Also no rock hit my wind shield at any time. In frustration I requested that the video footage from their store be pulled out for examination as to what the state of my vehicle was upon arrival and departure from their store and to my utmost shock- this store HAS NO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM IN THEIR WORK SHOP. In hind site this is clearly done intentionally to protect themselves from any responsibility done to vehicles placed under their care. The quote for fixing the damage caused by discount tires to my vehicle is in the $1000s (my wind shield has several sensors that would need to be recalibrated when a windshield is replaced) and they still refuse to take any responsibility. In retrospect: I came in to that store to have my tires fixed- the greedy team at that store coerced me into agreeing into changing my windshield wiper that had minimal damage in order to make more money off me - Damaged my wind shield during the process - and refuse to take any responsibility for this damage despite the clear inconsistencies in the testimony of their own staff AND the staff gaslighting me despite my repeated efforts at presenting all the facts - discount tires blames the customer for not being able to prove exactly how their vehicle was damaged due to the store's intentional lack of any surveillance system for accountability. read more

I've been a customer of discount tire since I started driving and have been happy with their tire service. However, they recently added alignment services to this location and because I wanted to get everything done in one day, I went ahead with the alignment services at discount tires rather than change out the tires and then have to stop by my mechanic another day to work on my alignment. They quoted me 1 hour to get 4 tires and the alignment done since I had an appointment. It took almost two hours. After the service was completed, I notice that my car was still pulling left and there was still vibration in my steering wheel. I called them and they said to bring it back in. The next day I brought it back in. They said 1 hour and it took almost two hours again. They said they made the adjustment and it should be good this time. But it ended up still pulling left. I called back in and mentioned to them what has been going on and that usually once I get alignment at my mechanic the car typically doesn't pull anymore. I called once more and the manager told me to bring the car back in for them to check it. I wasn't going to give up another morning just to sit and wait for them to not have it fixed. I asked for a refund on the alignment so I can take it to my mechanic. I wasn't refused the refund and was told it was already fixed which it wasn't and it still isn't. I would not recommend getting alignment done at Discount tire. They charge about the same as local mechanic shop but it isn't done correctly to fix the alignment issue. read more

I'm a loyal Costco girl, but their tire center has become way too busy and difficult to navigate! I heard good reviews about Discount Tire's service and maintenance, so I checked it out. I made an appointment for a next-day flat repair at 1:30 PM. Lilian checked out my car and made recommendations without upselling or pressuring me. I waited in a clean and spacious waiting room (with free WiFi!), and was shocked at how quick the turnaround was. On my way out, I realized something was wrong with my tire pressure sensors. Although the visit was quick it came with a BIG mess up on their end. After paying 1k for a rim swap and a new set of wheels I came home to see SPECIFICALLY placed marks of paint chipping around all of my center caps in the same place. These rims were in PRESTINE condition upon arrival with no marks at all. Keep in mind I have before and after photos of the tires, but upon calling DT to see if they can correct the mistake they immediately try to tell me that their tools wouldn't have caused this and they have no paint touch up kits, even though I HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS AND THEY'VE BEEN THE ONLY ONES TO HANDLE MY WHEELS (I seen them put back on one of my center caps with a metal tool forcefully as-well). Also when you look at their website it states perfectly clear "Discount Tire can facilitate your wheel repair service for scrapes, gouges, and bends, topped off with OEM-matched paint, powder coating, or re-chroming" ".... So why can't I get this service after spending a grand for something THEY caused??? Keep in mind I have pictures to prove. Anyways WILL NOT come back to this location at least until the issue is fixed. I had an appointment at 930 AM and my car was taken on time. The associate made recommendations because I needed an inspection but he did not pressure me or up sell which I appreciated. The price was reasonable (but I have no idea how much tires average) and I was done in less time than quoted. We had a 3rd tire around 4, so we decided to get 4 new tires. We can feel a huge difference. Now I don't have to worry every day when my wife is driving through the rain, that she doesn't lose control. About an hour later I get a phone call from discount and they said one of their "certified" employees hit my car with another customers car. WHILE PARKED!! They discovered that she had a second nail that made for a hazardous driving situation. Ricky was kind enough to replace that tire for her. He really took care of my mom and went above and beyond. My tires were down to 3/32 tread wear, so it was time for new tires before a planned road trip in two weeks. I checked on line for prices from NTB, Pepboys, Walmart, Discount Tire, etc. Discount Tires and Walmart were the cheapest. I went with Discount since they were more efficient and more knowledgeable with tires. I drove out the shop with 4 new house brand tires for $326.43 which included balancing, mounting, warranty, disposal fee, and tax. The service advisor was masked up and very friendly. He did not try to up sell me more expensive tires. But he did try to sell me some fancy wheels / rims. A polite no ended that sale pitch. The waiting area and bathroom were clean. Chairs were spaced more than 6 feet apart. I was promised a 1 hour service time, but it was done in 50 minutes. No hesitation in returning to this tire shop. read more

This is one of the newer Discount Tire stores in the greater Houston area. The facility is clean and new and I don't think many people in the area know about it, which is lucky for me. I happened in one afternoon where there was a line to the door, so I opted to make an online reservation for another day. Make a reservation online was super easy and I was able to make it for the next day. I didn't like that someone from the location called me at least twice the next morning saying they needed some details. I just needed some new tires and said so in the reservation. When I called back, they didn't actually want any info from me. *shrug* time wasted. I was running late to my 5:45pm appointment and they close at 6:00. I was really thankful that they called me to let me know that I could be a few minutes late and they'd take care of my car. I really appreciated it since I had neglected my tires for a while. I arrived a few minutes after 6. Izzy from the store greeted me in the parking lot, checked the tires, and met me inside. The doors were already locked, but I still got my tires done. It took less than 30 minutes and I was out of there. I appreciated that they let me show up a few minutes late and took care of my car quickly. I only came to this location because the Bellaire location did not have my tire and I needed one right away. When I got there I noticed that it was very busy. There was a line and I was probably the 4th person in line. There were two associates taking care of the line. While waiting in line I noticed that one of them thought that it was more important to keep answering the phones rather than taking care of the customers that are patiently waiting right in front of his face. I got frustrated so I asked If anyone was going to take care of me? One associate named Gus rudely said that they were very busy and that someone would take care of me when they became available. Now I don't know his position there but his whole demeanor and the way that he said it was very unprofessional. Mike actually took care of me and he was pleasant. I used them a few years ago to replace all my tires. They always have excellent deals on their tire and wheel sales. My husband uses Discount tires too and he is often highly satisfied with the customer service, quality and price. Recently, I went in about 5pm after I discovered a flat on the way home. When I arrived, there was about 4 people ahead of me. I was afraid they wouldn't get to my car by today. To my surprised, they said they'll finish it by 6:30pm even though they close at 6pm. I was truly grateful for that! When they told me they were going to fix my flat for free, my mouth dropped! I thought they were kidding, because I've never received free car service before. Customer service: The staff and technician was prompted and helpful. They were thorough in explaining what they were going do to fix the problem. From my experience, the staff and technician are honest. They won't try to sell you something just to get your money. If they genuinely notice a problem, they'll let you know. They won't go fishing for issues so that you'll upgrade or replace your wheels. Quality and efficiency: They said it would take about 40 minutes and they finished before that. Since they patched it, the internal pressure gauge hasn't gone off. They are allowed to receive tip, so I tipped the technician who fixed my flat tire for free. :) read more

This place changes tires almost as fast as if you was on a race track pit stop. I purchased 4 new Michelin tires for $1,800 and I didn't add any extras to the bill because I wanted to keep it less than. $2000. I now have 15k on the tiered I purchased. Every 7-8k miles you need to balance and rotate the tires on my truck. I found out that Discount tire will balance and rotate your tires for free as long as the tire lasts. This service alone costs $110 every time you need to rotate and balance. Last night I hit something on the highway and damaged my tire beyond being repairable. I took my truck back to discount and instead of me paying close to $400 for a new tire I was prorated at $200. The staff at this location are very nice and respectable. I give this location 5 stars and Discount tire 5 stars. I see that it pays to buy from Discount instead of the dealer or a moms and pops shop. I am going to need to balance and rotate at least 10x which that alone costs $1100. read more

This discount tire location did for me what THREE Costcos (2 nearby, 1 near home) could not -- they were able to get tires that they didn't have on-hand stock of into their store AND change out my bad ones, all within the same day. Sidenote: my dilemma was that I am 4-5 hours away from home; I am only down in Houston during the week, and only home during the weekend. This circumstance puts me in a special predicament. To be fair though, I could've probably made it home before changing my tires; seeing as to how a pair of them were already in pretty bad condition though, I felt much more comfortable replacing them asap....which meant that I'd have to try to replace my tires in Houston. During the week. While I was down here. I started out by leaning towards going with Costco tires due to value and what I thought would be ease of experience, but boy, was I wrong. I called two nearby Costco tire departments, both of which did not answer their phone lines for over 30 minutes. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone, they told me that they didn't have the tires in stock, that it would need to be ordered, but they felt as though they would be able to get the tires into their shop within two days; I would just have to pay in-store to finalize the order. Cool. So, under the impression that I was set, I drove to a Costco near where I was staying, only to be told that they not be able to get the tires on-hand the same week. They also said that they would not be able to essentially "drop-ship" the tires......which was to order the tires for me at the store I was already at, in Houston, and have it delivered to the store near my house. I figured I would try and call the Costco near home, in hopes that they would be able to get the tire with 5 days lead time. This would give them time to get the product, and I would be able to have them changed, come the weekend. When I got a hold of the third Costco near my house (again, 4-5 hours away), however, they refused to order the tires in advance so that it'd be there--ready for install--when I got back, insisting that I had to be in that particular store to order and pay for the tires. They would not take orders over the phone, and they would not allow me to order ahead and pay for the tires once they came in. And, as you know (or maybe don't know), without a tire order, you cannot make the proper appointment at the tire center at Costco, which meant that there would be further delay in trying to get my tires, which I was trying to change ASAP, replaced . FUN STUFF. In consolation, however, the guy did make the *helpful* suggestion that I go pick up the set of tires from another Costco location 2+ hours away, and then bring it to that Costco so that they could install them for me. Le sigh. Enter: this Discount Tire. I called first thing in the morning, and spoke with Leo(?) about getting some tires I found on their site. He said that he didn't have them on-hand, BUT (here's the clincher) he would be able to get them in this afternoon, AND (double-clincher!) they'd be able to slap the new tires on for me this afternoon. Are you paying attention, Costco? What's more, the tires came in early, about 3 hours after my call, AND they installed them in 30 minutes (not 1-1.5hrs+, like at *you-know-where*). Still paying attention, Costco?? All in all, an easy, painless experience with this shop. I keep trying to fight these guys when it comes to changing out tires for my vehicles, but they're now 2:0 vs. my past few experiences with Costco's Tire Center. Thanks guys!
