I recently bought a truck from Auto Resource Car Sales, and I want to share my experience to help future customers. The sales process was very pushy, which seems to be typical at most used car dealerships. I was specifically in the market for a diesel 4x4, and the truck I was interested in had a 4x4 sticker on the window. During the test drive, we discovered it wasn't a diesel, and one of the tires was low. The salesperson told me it was a minor issue that could be fixed, and after filling it with air, the problem seemed to go away temporarily. I made a compromise and decided to get the gasoline truck instead of the diesel. Because they reassured me that this was a tough truck that was good on gas and could tow a heavy load. This was actually the second vehicle I purchased from this dealership. So I assumed they would take care of me. During the paperwork, I noticed a page stating "no spoken promises," and I questioned the salesman about this. He reassured me by saying, "Oh come on, it's just ink, we'll take care of you," which initially gave me confidence. Unfortunately, the tire issue persisted. A week later, it went flat again, which made me concerned about safety. All the tires are the same, (same look same tread ) and now I face the hassle and expense of replacing and matching all of them, which will likely run around $400 for just one! I have also never bought a vehicle and them not detail it or wash it. I picked it up the next day as dirty as it was the day before. there was a homeless blanket in the back of a truck. It had rained that day so when I went to move it, it was soaked and disgusting! I got a text a few days later asking what about that review? I told him I would like to wait at least 30 days after buying a vehicle before I can leave a review so I know I what I'm reviewing. Then the tire went flat...... Me " Hey guys, I usually like to wait at least 30 days before I put in my review but I do want to let you know that that front tire is still going low and all if that's something that you guys can help me out with. Look forward to hearing from you" Auto resource " Hello Jamie, i can totally understand that. I wish I could help you but it was sold as is you did get awesome deal on the Ram, maybe slow leak. I'm sorry" Me "Definitely believe that is a safety issue and something that you guys said that y'all would handle. I'll have to take that in consideration with writing my review." Auto resource " I'm sorry to hear about that, but I did check on it, and they told me it only needs air. Maybe they didn't see where the leak is coming from." This experience has taught me to be more cautious when dealing with this dealership. It also made me extremely concerned what else could be wrong with this truck that I don't know of. While they did make spoken promises at first, the ongoing problems with the tires and the "sold as is" note mean I should have been more skeptical. I advise future buyers to thoroughly inspect vehicles, clarify warranties or promises in writing, and be prepared for unexpected costs. Overall, if you're considering buying from this dealership, proceed with caution and ensure everything is clearly documented. read more

Yes I got my car repossessed by the used car dealership where I got my truck at and when they came to get my truck I complied with them and gave them the keys and they told me I can leave my stuff in the truck because they were going to try to give me the truck back because they didn't want it so he said they were going to find me another bank to do my payments so when I went to the dealership I went to the front desk and they told me a whole different story and that I have to pay the Down payment again which was 4,000 dollars I didn't have that kind of money I used it all for the first down payment and so I just said I want my stuff out the truck I couldn't afford another down payment so when I requested to get my belongings they said the truck wasn't there so I left then I came back again and still nothing and the 3rd time the guy who repoed the truck I texted him a lot of times to see where the truck was at so I can get my belongings and he told me where it was at and I went to that dealership and by then the truck was already cleaned out and on the lot for sale already and I went to the front desk and they said to go to the service area that my stuff would be there so I did and the guys in the service area couldn't find my things they said someone must of threw my stuff away so now they said they are not responsible for those things getting thrown away I told them they were because of what they told me and what kind of dealership throws peoples belongings away not even giving them a phone call or anything that they are cleaning out my belongings which had my government ID my Debit card and other belongings I paid a lot of money for I need help on what I should do please this isn't right of what they did and I'm not the only complaint they had before I regret getting this truck there read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER go buy a car from 61 W 16th st Auto Resources!!!!! I have never ever had the worst experience in buying a car IN MY LIFE!!! Colombo will bring you in, get the sale, and LIE to you about HIDDEN FEES just to get the sale that day. Colombo is a scam artist and IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HES DONE THIS TOO!!! He told me that all the bad reviews online are mad people that get their car repoed and they go leave bad reviews, WELL IM NOT ONE OF THEM THAT GOT THEIR CAR REPOED!!! I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH COLOMBO AND 61 W 16TH LOCATION!!!! This is not my first car I've bought from the lot, but this is MY LAST TIME EVER GOING TO AN AUTO RESOURCES DEALERSHIP. I regret with everything I have in purchasing my vehicle with Colombo and that location. He begged me not to "accidentally" show up at the 819 W 16TH location, WHICH I SHOULD HAVE WENT THERE, if I'm even going to buy a car at Auto Resources. Worst decision of my life. I don't even want to give 1 star but I have to. Purchased a vehicle from them. It took a week for them to "detail" & do "maintenance" on it. We get the car a week later and they did not do what they said they fixed or detailed. The back cup holders were full of red sticky liquid, all the seats were dirty with stained drinks. The back windshield wiper that they "replaced" fell off on our drive back home from the dealership. They left a broken spark plug in the motor?? 4 months later we go to carmax to try and trade the vehicle in, they searched up the CarFax & a red flag popped up on the vehicle. It's a salvage title, been in a accident, miles rolled back 3 times since 2017. We called the dealership and the dealer who sold us the car said he doesn't check carfax?? Spoke to a manager I believe Gino & he's saying that Carmax & Kia are lying about the carfax on the vehicle. Pretty much saying they don't care and they won't do anything about it. Would never recommend this dealership, we are taking them to small claims. read more

If your looking to buy a car, Auto Resources is the place to goo!! I seen they had a beautiful Cadillac and I went to check it out. I was met by Gino instantly and he asked me what I was interested in and what my price range was. He directed me to some other really beauitful cars that would be better for me and that were in my price range and lower. I ended up test driving one of the vehicles and it was amazing!!! They are like new cars for cheap!! I wouldn't have thought it was used because they look and feel brand new!! They are also one owner vehicles!! I definitely recommend anyone to check out this place even if your a first time car buyer, Gino helped me in so many ways and I was soo thankful that he could be of as much assistance as he was. After searching for a vehicle for months and being turned down everywhere i finally decided to give auto resource a try( not gonna lie) i was very hesitant due to the fact i was denied everywhere i went... I had talked with Jay whom was steady in touch with me over a couple months .. i kept telling him theres NO way he would be able to get me into a car since my credit was not good and i was being turned down everywhere.. Very bad cars. High mileage and expensive = makes no sense at all. I tried to leave and I realized I left my DL at their office(They scan these when you drive at any car lot) After coming back to get my Drivers license, they wouldn't give it back. They tried guilt tripping me for wasting time. I left after realizing I am being sold a car for $30k (before taxes) with a 1. Cracked windshield 2. 91,000 miles (very high for said price) 3. Couldn't get anywhere meaning I told them specifically, what I wanted. And yet, they want to sell me a junker for $30,000 ! That's insane. I feel bad for anyone dumb enough to buy from them. It's obvious, they get cars and sell them without paying any attention to them. The markup must be 40-50% so if you're going to buy a car from them that "costs" $30k, just know they bought it for under half of that price. read more

The customer service is amazing. Super nice and a lot of communication. Jose Aviles (a worker) is one of the best sellers be ever come in-contact with. He treats you like royalty and is very important when it comes to such a huge purchase. You always want to make sure that you get the best treatment and he definitely exceeds that. Another employee Juan, (not sure of his last name) is also super nice. He is more quiet but still gives amazing treatment. Very excited with my purchase at this place. Greatest car buying experience, i was skeptical because of all the bad reviews . . . but they had the car i was looking for. i did bring up the reviews on here and they assured me that they were working hard to remedy those type of reviews. I've had my car for 2 months now, i did have a minor issue with they car, but they were quick to fix the problem.
