He calls accounting debt, and they told him to tell me that it's not working because my payment is overdue, MIND you, this has been an issue, even when I was doing my payments on time lol. Then they decided to then tell me there was a block on my account, and that they removed it. Honestly working at a bank myself, I personally feel like they didn't know what to say to me so they just assumed to blame it on the status of my account instead of maybe getting to the root of the issue of maybe their ATM machine is not working correctly or my card is damaged in someway. Accounting never talk to me face-to-face and they just kept calling back the teller giving him whatever information they could think of. If it wasn't for the credit card I have with them. I would literally close my account today if I could, but I'm going to as soon as I paid it off. It's literally never a good experience going inside, I literally dread it. Zero stars if I could

Why is activating a new credit card such a complicated process?…read more I called the activation number listed on the card and entered all the requested information correctly, only to be transferred to a call center representative who told me I needed to contact the bank directly about my account. My account is in good standing, and I had spoken with a representative just two weeks ago to request this replacement card. After calling the bank directly, I was transferred yet again to another call center, waited approximately five minutes, and was then informed that their system was down and they could not assist me. The end result: no activated card and a significant amount of wasted time. This experience fell far short of basic customer service expectations. Something as simple as activating a replacement card should not require multiple transfers and system failures.

Heaven forbid the message was a weightier issue.

I do not recommend this banking establishment to anyone. They have made two very large errors…read more Both times, allowing checks to be cashed out of my account which aren't even mine. Because of this, my account became overdrawn (twice) and I was told that it would take 3-4 days for me to be reimbursed even though none of it was my fault. I had to jump through several hoops to get the situations solved and when I actually went into the bank to speak with someone about it, they were very dismissive. I even asked to speak to the manager and he was rude and defensive. I urge you to think twice before banking with Mechanics.
