My account is in good standing, and I had spoken with a representative just two weeks ago to request this replacement card. After calling the bank directly, I was transferred yet again to another call center, waited approximately five minutes, and was then informed that their system was down and they could not assist me. The end result: no activated card and a significant amount of wasted time. This experience fell far short of basic customer service expectations. Something as simple as activating a replacement card should not require multiple transfers and system failures.

After the first deposit, the ATM was stuck on the "processing" screen for several minutes, clearly indicating a problem. When I tried to make a second deposit, the ATM displayed "cash deposit unavailable."

I do not recommend this banking establishment to anyone. They have made two very large errors…read more Both times, allowing checks to be cashed out of my account which aren't even mine. Because of this, my account became overdrawn (twice) and I was told that it would take 3-4 days for me to be reimbursed even though none of it was my fault. I had to jump through several hoops to get the situations solved and when I actually went into the bank to speak with someone about it, they were very dismissive. I even asked to speak to the manager and he was rude and defensive. I urge you to think twice before banking with Mechanics.
