Mother in law foolishly purchased 4 vehicles here. Dodge Journey, Hyundai Santa Fe, Jeep Renegade, Jeep Grand Cherokee. Each one with issues. Journey had a code for P0420. Unfortunately she was involved in an accident and the journey was totaled. The Renegade had stalled, windshield squirters dont work and brakes down to the nub. Jeep Cherokee has blown shocks and struts with other issues with suspension. My daughter's santa fe which im pissed about has overspray which indicates an accident and multiple suspension issues. I am a mechanic in the family and my mother in law got real close to Gilbert foolishly and he took advantage of her. Gilbert my mother in law had a medical condition which needed medical attention and you pretty much took advantage of her. I would understand if the vehicles you sold were road-ready vehicles but these are not road ready. Actually dangerous since the Renegade stalled. I suggest you call her and reference my name to get the vehicles repaired. I suggest anyone considering purchasing from this dealer get a pre-purchase inspection at a reputable auto shop. I dont know how this place has good reviews. This is a real review. Most other reviews are from people that have never reviewed another business but this one. Just because they can approve you at 20% interest doesnt mean you should do it. These are auction vehicles. Cheap tires and an oil change and its ready for sale. Edit: the Renegade is the worst vehicle out of the bunch. You guys zip tied the PCM connector instead of actually fixing it Gilbert? Wow. I took a picture of it. Ill find a way to upload the Pic so everyone can see. I think its time for a complaint to BAR. Lets talk about a buyback for this one bud. This vehicle should not have been put up for sale. Another edit: so when the vehicle stalled it was taken back to TAS. They discovered the issue but the fix was a couple zip ties. Mind you that the vehicle stalled. There was no power steering and no power brakes. It caused a dangerous situation. Knowingly repairing the vehicle with zip ties is an illegal act of misrepresentation. If I can give 0 stars I definitely would. I recently put down $5,000 down for a 2013 Kia Optima on July 5th by July 12th, while driving on the freeway my motor froze up on me causing everything to shut off WHILE IM DRIVING ON FREEWAY !!!! I got a tow from where my car was at to a dealership nearest to my home . I did let the gentleman Sou who I signed papers with know what was going on with my car the same day everything happened. I called my roadside assistance paid tow out of my pocket to drop it off at the Kia closest to my home. The next morning Sou called me to tell me that I should have gotten it towed to TAS since they gave me a "in-house" warranty for the first 30 days bumper to bumper . Sou then sends a tow that picked up my car from where I towed it to back to their lot just for them to tell me they don't know what's wrong with it either and they will tow it to a Kia that's about an hour and a half away from me . With my engine freezing up on me while driving I immediately didn't feel safe in that vehicle anymore . So I wanted to pull out of my loan and get my $5,000 back. Gilbert (Manager) said that wasnt "possible" which I didn't know how it wasn't when my loan is still brand new and no payments have been made to the loan they refused to let me pull out and refund me my money all's because of taxes and fees / not purchasing a "cool off period" . According to their cool off period agreement form it says that if I don't purchase it I can't return the car due to it being ugly, too expensive or not to my friends and family likings . No where on that cool off agreement form does it say I can't return the vehicle or pull out of my loan due to safety issues. ‍ I did ask them to show me where exactly does it state I'm not able to return it and pull out and get my money back due to vehicle issues . Gilbert and myself did have a heated argument which led to him calling the police on me and not able to pull out of my loan and get my money back . I did let my finance company know what was going on and they as well told me that the loan is brand new and I should be able to pull out of my loan especially since it is a safety issue . All TAS said was "it's not our issue it's a Kia issue" how is that so if I bought the vehicle off of TAS lot and not KIA if there was a recall on my vehicle TAS would / should known about it. They should have never even had that car on the lot to begin with that's just my opinion ‍ I have been without a car for about almost 3 weeks now and still haven't been put in a rental or have had any updates until today 7/30 @ 3:30 pm. Long story short I don't recommend this dealership at all. Gilbert is rude . Whether a customer is upset and is yelling trying to have their voice heard, and having the "manager" laugh at you and talk to you like you and your situation don't matter, doesn't give him the right to speak the way he did and not care given the situation. Myself and my passengers or other vehicles on the road could have been severely injured if I didn't know much about vehicles and what to do in that situation. Thank God that nothing tragic happened because it could have been waaaaay worst. And they don't care about it they rather give you a rebuilt engine block I'm sorry not TAS but KIA and make you be OK with that when there's a possibility it can happen again. TAS doesn't care about their customers they are a bunch of frauds and scammers . I had / have every right to pull out of the loan when I first told them what happened. But no, now I'm stuck with a $15,800 car loan , $500 a month vehicle and I haven't been able to enjoy that car at all my first month payment is 8/4 and I'm obligated to pay for a vehicle I don't have in my possession.... WORTHLESS , WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME DEALERSHIP! DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

We walked through and looked at cars unbothered until we were about to leave and 40+ year old nasty old man approached and made sexual comments about our appearance and then asked if we had been helped yet. Turlock Auto Source has proven themselves to be a dirty business they don't even deserve one star, they don't honor any contract I learned that within the first week of purchasing a vehicle from this location. I bought a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 last week the day after purchasing this vehicle check engine light is on , then I discovered that there is no horn it's been removed. This is my first day off since I purchased this vehicle last week. I went there this morning to have these issues taken care of because I have 3 weeks left of the contract 30 day warranty. Instead of taking care of the issue I was turned away with refusal to honor the contract and was told not to come back. I have 3 weeks left on a contract that the manager or the salesman himself refused to honor. Dirty business especially when there's more than one safety issues that need to be addressed on this vehicle. This auto dealer and salesman will honor no contract. I advise people to avoid this place go to a legitimate dealer that honors a contract and their word. read more
