Horrible buying experience, however Freddy was really nice. This sales manager however was very rude, unkind, and unprofessional so you want to be careful cause he's money hungry. He wanted $500 to write the contract to a car that was already an approved loan. Tried to pressure and intimate me to pay him the $500 bucks. I'd honestly wouldn't buy the car if it weren't for the deal or Freddy. Freddy was outstanding. I also talked to Tito whom tried really hard to talk up the car and the dealer whom supposedly sells cars like hot cakes. If that real or not, who knows. Everyone but Freddy just seemed dishonest. Good luck with this dealer. read more

Be very cautious making a purchase at this dealership. The salesperson I dealt with did a couple of unethical things. Firstly, he tried sneaking in an extra warranty (or GAP insurance can't remember the name) into my contract without asking or consulting with me first. When my friend and I inquired with him as to why the payments did not add up, he played dumb and pretended not to know what was going on. Then he went to "Investigate" and came back to tell us the reason, again pretending like he didn't know what was causing the higher monthly payments. Secondly, he told me multiple times that my financing contract would be with Capital One, which was my preferred financing company. Turns out I received a bill from a company named CRB Auto. I'm guessing they have a special arrangement with this financing company. Who knows! I certainly WOULD NOT make a purchase here in the future and I WOULD NOT refer friends or family to this dealer. I work in a profession that values ethical behavior and feel that what they did was unacceptable. That is not how you earn more business or grow a brand! I think they prey on the average consumer like me who is not highly knowledgeable of how the car business works. I am seriously considering reporting them to the Department of Consumer Affairs. read more

Great customer service thank you ! I'm happy with my purchase and I will return for more vehicles in the future

This place should receive 0 STARS. Completely DEGRADING and DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS WOMEN!! I went in to buy my first car the other week, and spent 6 hours talking to Jose S. and the manager Danny about purchasing a car. They both were so rude and didn't want to listen to any of my valid questions. Both lied to me several times about the condition of the car and went back on their word when they promised to replace the tires and alignment and hold the car for me while I went to get a cashiers check. I knew they were lying about the condition of the car once I had this car inspected and showed them all the problems that came with it. They told me I dont know what I'm talking about because I am a WOMAN. I was outraged by their comments and unprofessionalism. The minute I left to get a cashiers check, they "sold it" to someone else, which is completely untrue because I saw the car online a week later still available...These guys might come off as nice in the beginning but are never to be trusted. Drove 2 hours there and back, and have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. They are deceitful snakes with no intention of pleasing the customer. All they want is to make money and scam everyone into buying a car. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE DISGUSTING, DECEITFUL, AND MISOGYNISTIC MEN!! read more

After going to other dealerships and finding nothing but horrible customer service and prices. I came to Auto Republic, Andrew was phenomenal! He was respectful of my time and of the vehicle I came to see. I was able to drive away with a car in a matter of two hours or so. Which I don't know about you, but that's fast for a dealership. I was shown car fax upon request and I was also given a lower interest rate than expected. If you're looking for a reasonable priced vehicle with great service I'd recommend going here for your next car purchase. I also suggest to seek Andrew as he was helpful. read more

I recently bought my son's first car here and I have to say that they threat us very nice. I try three dealers before coming here and was turnes down but not here. We closed the deal in less than two hours and my son drove home in his convertible mustang. Thank you fullerton auto square for helping me make my sons dream possible. read more

I'm only giving one star because I have to. I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll start with do not go to this company! It will be your biggest regret! I was car searching for a few months looking for A very specific vehicle. I wanted H3 all white Hummer. I was pretty sure I found my dream car at this place so I called to set up an appointment to take a test drive. Upon arriving at the lot Stephanie greeted me handed me the keys and told me to go ahead and take the car out for a spin. I thought that was pretty cool that she didn't get any of my information and she just let me take The car without taking any of my information let alone drivers license. When I brought the car back the first thing she said was let's go take a seat and talk numbers. I thought OK! Let's get this done! The first thing she said when we sat down was if I take $1000 off the ticket price do we have a deal? I thought about it for a second and then said yes absolutely! Turns out she didn't even have the authority to see that so she got my hopes up for no reason. And my personal opinion that is bad business. Why are you going to tell somebody that you can take $1000 off when you don't even have the authority to do that? I was only able to get a few hundred taken off the total price I think somewhere around 800 to be exact. I guess that extra 200 was a little too much to for them to take off... according to them it was pretty difficult, and their words almost impossible to get my boyfriend finance considering he already has a vehicle. In order to finance us they said that we needed to have 5500 down. I wasn't expecting to have to put that much down and we had only brought 2500 with usso they allowed us to postdate some checks to cover the rest of the money. I was excited! I finally found the car that I had been looking for and I was so stoked to have it! The next day I went out running errands, And I noticed that the car stopped accelerating as much while driving. I didn't know what that meant I took it to AutoZone and ask them about it they weren't really sure they said I should take it into mechanic. On my way driving home on the 22 freeway the car literally just stopped in the middle of the freeway. Just stopped! The engine was still running but it wouldn't move any further. I had no clue what was wrong with it. I called the company and I was extremely upset considering they said they did an inspection on the car and that it was in very good shape considering was a one owner car that was well-maintained. They told me to go ahead and have it towed back to their company so that their mechanics could inspect it and we could fix the issue. I've heard way too many nightmare stories about people who have had the same thing happened to them and basically all the company does is throw some duct tape on it some glue and fix it up for the next hundred miles. So I decided to take it to my own unbiased mechanic to do a full inspection and give me a diagnosis. Turns out the transmission was completely blown it either needed to be completely replaced or torn down and rebuilt. For any of you that don't know about transmission that is a pretty expensive fix right there probably between three and $5000. My boyfriend already talked to the manager Junior and basically the just of the conversation was that if it was that expensive repair that was needed they weren't going to put in the money into it to do that they would rather just have the car returned and give me a refund. But that's not what I wanted because this is the car that I had been looking for for a month. I was willing to fix it myself. But considering I bought the car for 8000 $18,000 and I still owed them about 3000 more dollars for my down payment. I felt it was fair that I keep the car and just call it even with me not paying the $3000 that I owed them for the down payment because that's what I would have to Pay in order to get a new transmission. Junior pretty much laughed at that the most he was willing to give me off on the vehicle was $1600 from the ticket price. So basically that would be me buying an $18,000 broken car minus the 1600 discount for the blown transmission... How generous of you Junior. That in my opinion was insulting. I've been researching these cars for months and to pay that price for a broken car is ridiculous. He then offered to maybe pay half of the cost of the repair if I went through his mechanics. But he would not lower the price any further. It came to the point where he was no longer answering my phone calls or texts nor was there office. When in the beginning all the office did was text me relentlessly for payment. I would get 10 texts in a row from Stephanie in the office to me, that is most annoying thing ever.once there started to be issues because of the transmission I hardly even received a replies. BOTTOM LINE THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. THEY SELL BROKEN CARS THAT WILL YOU WILL NEED TO THROW THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS INTO AFTER YOU YOU BUY IT. read more

I went in having no idea what I wanted or what to do, being new to California from PA. I went to quite a few places before I found this one and was less than impressed and got the typical car salesman crap. Here was different from the beginning...Fred came right out to greet me and was more than helpful not only helping me to find the right car but he went out of his way and spent extra time to get my payments where I wanted. They made me feel like someone important... And it took hardly any time... And the entire staff was so accommodating. Fred even helped me get my rental car back so that I could enjoy my new Cobra right on the spot. I will definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone who wants a great deal but more importantly great service. Thanks guys!!! read more

I've decided to sell my truck and looked up the value on Kelly Blue Book. They have an option for instant cash value and give you a couple dealers who are authorized KBB buyers. The instant cash value is already lower than the trade in value, but I thought it's an easy transaction I'll be in and out. I made an appointment and showed up to get the truck appraised. The guy starts off asking me the lowest I'll take for it. I told him a few hundred lower than the value given by KBB as its already discounted as a trade in value. The guy comes back with less than half of the value. Four thousand less than its value. Not only did they waste my time, they tried to rip me off and insult my intelligence. I'll also contact KBB and let them know not to refer to them as they will tarnish their name as well. Do not do business here, they're looking to take you for a ride. read more

I never give tens but on a scale from 1 to 5 you can't give a 9. I had a wonderful experience here. I talked to a gentleman named Sergio and he made my day. He was nice and very easy to talk to and to get along with. I originally went for a red dodge charger and had a set limit on my monthly payments. I told Sergio I wanted a family car and he showed me other options. That's when we came across a 2008 toyota avalon. After test driving the car, I instantly fell in love with it. I test drove some other vehicles to reassure that this was the car I wanted. When we finally started the paperwork, he made everything so easy and managed stay within my set price range for monthly payments. A few days later, Sergio contacted me to see how everything was doing and how the car was running. He made an effort to make sure that I was satisfied with my new vehicle. Overall, this was my best car buying experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership and HIGHLY recommend talking to Sergio. Thank you again, Sergio, for making this car buying experience great and for being patient with me! read more

Bought a fantastic BMW M3 from AR with the help of Andrew. I never felt uncomfortable or pressured into anything. He was extremely helpful and I would recommend him to anyone in the market for a used car. AR also has quite a nice and diverse selection of vehicles. Only problem I would say is that the car had some small things that were not disclosed (not the fault of Andrew) but things that needed some maintenance and were in need of repair. read more

I recently just purchaced a car from fullerton auto square and let me tell you the drive was well worth it. I called in on a bmw they had and my call was answerd qiuck and the salesperson was extreamly helpful on the phone and I told him that I was driving from santa monica and that i was going to be there in about an hour. So when i got there he was waiting for me and showed me the car that i called on and I was very impressed on how nice it was!!! The car only had 66 k miles for a 06 and it was flawless. It was very hard to choose because i came in on that car but they had about four other ones that were just as nice but at the end of the day i went home with the I came for. Not only that here is the best part out of all this I had a 2005 mercedes SL that i took to carmax because on how they rave about giving the most for your car and they offered me a rediclous number so when i went down to fullerton auto square I gave them my carmax paper and they beat it!!!! I had a great experience buying a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 at the Fullerton location. They had a great selection of vehicles. Andrew was the salesman who helped me. I appreciated his friendly personality. He wasn't your typical pushy sales guy. I felt zero pressure which I really liked. He handled the entire transaction professionally. Also, their finance guy, Ishmael, was very efficient and knowledgeable. He had us in and out in under an hour. Finally, I even had a positive experience with their head mechanic/manager named Jonathan. I brought the car back a few days later because I noticed a bad (almost like burnt oil) smell coming from the engine. It was an intermittent issue and I only smelled it at red lights occasionally. So I took it back for an inspection. Jonathan gladly put it on a lift, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it free of change. Since I bought the car "as is" I really appreciated them servicing me in this way. I will surely return to this lot when we're ready for our next used car. read more

This review is long overdue but the experience is unforgettable. I had been looking for a car for months and after visiting many franchise dealerships with over promising and under delivering I was growing frustrated. I gave another attempt. After I inquired on the car I really wanted, I was given true and straight forward service. I worked with Sergio and he was very attentive, patient and his follow up was excellent. He had the car ready to go for a test drive and in a short time I drove off with my beautiful Ford Edge Limited Edition. Thank you Sergio and team at Auto Republic. My husband and I were in search for a car, for my permanently disabled mom and brother who live up in Apple Valley, Ca. We tried fixing our 1991 Honda Accord spent $800.00 dollars trying to get it to pass smog, but the NOX levels were way to high, so we sold it to a very good friend of ours, who has a mechanic that would be able to due the repairs as needed. So we did some research for about a week looking at dealership, we saw a couple of cars at Fullerton Auto Square, so we headed on down to Fullerton. The first gentlemen introduced him self as Danny, we asked if we could test drive a couple of cars, so we did. We purchased a car that was more than what we expected. Danny, Ish, Brady, DJ, Henry, Mike, the Service Tech, and every one else were very nice, respectful, understood, pleasant to work with and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Would we go back to purchase another car? HECK YES!!!!!!!! Our family would like to Thank each and every one of you for all the remarkable help you have done for us, we are truly happy with our car we purchased from you! read more

DJ was not able to meet with us but texted me that Fred would help us and that he's the nicest guy. Fred had the car waiting for us and immediately let us test drive the car. He and Brady gave us all of the warranty options and explained everything thoroughly. Fred even took us to the bank to get a cashier's check. When we got back DJ took over and went over all the forms we had to sign. Even signed a carfax report. Overall a great experience. You can trust these guys. read more

It sounded good I had asked him to put it on the scope to see if it triggered any codes he oh ya for sure before you leave. After he was in and out of the office helping others as he had us sitting there he says ok its ready at this point we were hungry hot and my fiancé wasn't feeling well and we still had a 3.5 hr drive back home he walks us to truck and says I just did the basics oil change ect but he didn't put it on the scope we get home a few weeks later motor blows out and when we call him back he said oh Im sorry this happened to you but I sold the truck as is we hadn't even mad the first car payment. :( I asked him can we trade the vehicle for something else or can you meet us half way t resolve this he said no sorry. I would have took this further but I have a lot on my plate and the health of my fiancé comes first so we paying a car payment on a sitting truck trying to save for a motor I would be very careful with buying from this dealer truck looked good inside and out clean ect sounded good and now its just parked. read more

Andrew is a great sales guy. Very pleased with the customer service here! Made my car buying experience a great one.

I purchased a 2014 Ford Mustang 3 months ago, and while doing some shopping at Costco, my vehicle was stolen. I didn't know what to do. I proceeded to call State Farm, and was driving a rental for over 3 weeks. The first thing they asked was if I had gap insurance. I didn't even really know what that was until they explained to me and since the copies of the contract were in my car, I had no other option but to visit the dealer and inquire about it. When I got there Ismael immediately set Me down grabbed copies of everything that I signed, and explained that I had No gap. :( My heart just about stopped, and I instantly regretted declining it. Moving forward another week, my insurance company said they would cover the balance that was borrowed from the bank but left me with no money, and no car. I decided to Call Ismael one more time to see if he could do anything for me with no money, and he told me to just come down, and that he would do his best. I had to borrow my Moms car, went down to the dealer, and they got it done with zero out of pocket on a 2009 Mustang. I was so happy already, and yesterday I received a call from the dealer saying they had something for me. I didn't even bother asking what it was. Got there about one hour ago, and I can't believe what was handed to me. I thought it was a joke at first, then Ismael handed Me a $5,000 dollar check!!!!! I didn't remember but they had sold Me Safeguard Theft, and I just literally jumped up, and hugged him. Thank you to everyone for assisting me through this nightmare. You made it a very happy ending. I will refer everyone I know. Gonna pay off some credit cards with this money. I'm Forever grateful. Thanks Ismael!!!! read more

absolutely the worst car buying experience ever. I was looking for a new family car online and found a dodge magnum on autotrader.com which sent me to there lot to check it out. When I got to their lot I found the car i was looking for and stood around for about 10-15 minutes before going to find someone so i could really check it out. there were some slight cosmetic problems but after all it was a used car. the big thing for me was that the hatch wasn't working. we did a quick test drive and everything else seemed pretty good, mileage was good, and the price was average. so we made a deal...... I wanted the hatch fixed and new keys (the car only came with one and it had missing buttons and did not work.) after going back and forth and waiting over 2 hours I agreed to take it as long as they fix the hatch. (luckily i got this in writing on my contract.) i ended up leaving that day without the car because they were going to have it fixed the next day.2 days later i called and they explained that what they thought was wrong was not bad at all and they needed more time. i picked the car up for the weekend and then returned it on the following Monday. they had my car from Monday thru Friday before calling me to tell me it they sent the part out for repair and i could come pick up a loaner. after 7 days i picked my car up the following Monday and it was fixed the hatch worked for about 2 weeks before going out again. i called them and they told me to bring it back for repairs. similar situation as last time they told me 3 days and 5 days later they call me to pick it up. a week later it goes out again. I call and the sales guy tells me he is going to talk to his boss and call me back in a few minutes. after a day i call again and he tells me the same thing i will call you right back. 6 hours later i call and he tells me his manager is offering me 500 dollars to go get it fixed my self and not to bother them with it again or bring it down and they will send it out. i ask about a loaner car and get denied they said they are doing me a favor . i am pissed at this point and i tell them i will bring it down for them to fix it. so i take it in again and 3-5 days later i hear back and they make me the best offer i have received from them so far. 800 cash and i have to fix it myself or they will take it back and i can buy something else from their lot. they had another one that i was interested in that was a little more money. i ended up trading it in for the other one. i took a loss but at least i didn't have to deal with the first piece of shit they sold me. but that is not the end. they were suppose to pay off the first car loan. they paid what they thought was the entire loan but did not check so i still received letter from the bank showing a balance so i called and tried to straighten it out and they told me the pay off was short. so i got a late payment on my record and the car was still not paid off until over 2 months after trading it in and countless phone calls and messages. i strongly urge people not to buy from them. read more

When I called the dealership, I knew exactly the model and year car I wanted, and had a pretty good sense of what it should cost. The car I saw online on cargurus was on the lot and was exactly as advertised. As it happened, I had no car to get to the dealership, so I was grateful that Fred Yeon in sales drove it to my house about 25 miles away. He was very kind, urged me to drive the car as long as I needed on the test drive, and answered all my questions. When I requested some revisions to the contract, he was really great about it. He went back to Fullerton, got a new contract drafted, and delivered the car and the contract at 8:30 a.m. the next morning to fit my crazy schedule. read more

Just a few days ago I drove up to San fransisco from central California to buy a bmw z4. They listed the car as mint condition and that it was a great buy, made the drive ready to purchase and the car was nothing like they insisted. I was livid and we walked away, so I spent the day looking for cars in northern California and couldn't find much that I was interested in. So I hit the books again and came across nissan 350z that I liked at Auto Republic. I asked for some current close up photos of the car to make sure it was as it was listed before I made a drive to southern California and within 15 minutes they sent me everything I needed to know about the car! Even close ups of the door dings and the faded paint, respectfully I said no and thank you very much for getting me the info I needed so I didn't waste my time again. Although I said no to that car they had one more on their lot that looked amazing in the photos. Again they sent me close ups car fax the works and they got me to make the drive down to southern California. The car looked better in person than it did in the photos! Also they test drove it to make sure it was running great before I made the drive and they even replaced the clutch for me to make sure it was golden! Now we buy alot of cars, and this has to be the best used car dealership we've seen and the service was awesome. Huge inventory and crew really knows how to make sure you'll leave happy. They even have a bell they have you ring to let everyone know your heading out with a new car. Bought the car a few hours after arriving and left happy.
