What a disappointment after such a great start. I sent an email inquiry about a 2010 Lexus GS350, Beige sedan through CarFax, to Auto Network. Got an email back pretty quick from Ray Milani earlier this week (of 9/26/2022). Then we spoke by phone, extensively, around Tues., about arranging for me to come on Thurs., because I work during the week, and Auto Network closed too early for me to drive from work, during Los Angeles rush hour before they closed, in Placentia, near Disneyland. So, we arranged for me to come in today, Thursday, 9/29/22, and Ray would wait until 6:30P - 7P for me to arrive. He also let me know he would 'hold' the car until I had a chance to see it. He even did a breakdown and emailed the total 'out the door' price, and even sent me a brochure on an extended warranty program Auto Network offers. He never asked for a deposit, though I would have given one to hold the vehicle. I even called my Credit Union to confirm my pre-approved loan, at an excellent rate. I asked for time off from work (I asked to leave a little earlier than planned to accommodate both Ray, and myself. (I work for a Law Firm, and they're in the middle of a big case, so everyone is SUPER busy. We really rely on each other to pick up the slack on workload). Because I don't currently have a car, I arranged to have my niece drive me there, in the middle of rush hour, to test drive the car. I RUSHED to get my work done, told everyone I was leaving early, and my niece adjusted her schedule around this meeting. Ray told me to call in the afternoon to confirm I was coming this evening, and I did JUST that. I called at 2:30P, and he informed me he had just sold the car. REALLY??? Good thing I wasn't already on the road fighting traffic to get down there. RAY had my number, because he reached out to ME to ask about my interest in the car. I can only guess he had NO intention of calling me. Did he see my picture and doesn't sell to Brown... people color. By the way, the Beige 2010, Lexus GS350 is still upon CarFax. In 2007, I went in to purchase a Chrysler Pacifica. I called in ahead and asked them to put it on hold, I would come in after work. I get there, and it wasn't there. They had no idea what happened to it. I was pissed. They showed me a Chevy Trailblazer, which I fell in love with. First, I was 19, but I actually had good credit thanks to my parents having me as an authorized user on their cards since I was 16. I had a 730 score. My sales person, who looked like a hippie, refused to run my credit. I had my mom come and get it for me. She had good credit, and convinced me that because this was her second car, she had to pay higher interest. I ended up getting the car for $18k out the door, with 11% interest. Well, a week later I found out I got screwed big time. The car I purchased was over BB by $2k, the car I traded in, a clean Suburban, was under BB by $6k!!!!!!!! When I asked for it back he said it was in Mexico. I was screwed. For 2 years, I kept getting letters from the DMV saying it was never transferred. I went to my local bank which offered me 2.99% btw for my mom. I told him and he said it was a few dollars a month and not to worry about it. It was actually a $68/m difference, which ended up costing me $4k in interest. THANKS. While I was at the dealer, I also worked with Ray who assured me the car was NEVER in ANY accident, and showed me the CarFax. He also stated he bought it from his very close friend. I took the car to CarMax a year later to find out that AutoCheck shows 3 accidents, The car had frame damage and weld marks in the back. The car had tons of issues. I called Ray and took almost 3 weeks to get a hold of him. He said it's not his fault and the guy who sold it to him lied. I have a USELESS and UNSAFE POS car. Ray took me to the cleaners, The worst part is, he offered to refund me a total of $150. WHAT A JOKE. I also purchased a warranty, which I was told was 2 years, unlimited miles. After 9 months, my transmission went out and they wouldn't cover it because I drove more then 24k miles. I told him at the beginning I drive over 40k miles a year, and he said no worries. Waste of $2,400!!!!!!!!!! I also think a funny part is, when he was looking up the information about my car, his computer kept crashing. I installed an anti-virus on the computer which found malware and trojans on it. That's just great, a trojan on a computer with everyones personal information on it. Again WHAT A JOKE. I was stupid and tried giving him another chance like he asked. I went in to get an Audi A6, had my own financing already in place, but while on the test drive he was on the phone the whole time talking to different customers with different issues. The funniest one was him talking to a customer whose brakes went out. The customer said he asked for replacement brakes and Ray told him they were new. Turns out, they were never replaced. I didn't feel safe buying from him again, so I purchased a BMW from CarMax instead. I would stay far away from this horrible excuse of a dealer. He sold me an unsafe car, and made thousands and thousands of dollars at my expense. I know Carmax is a bit more expensive, but at least I will know I'm not getting taken to the cleaners!!!!!!! read more

I recently bought a '07 Passat at Auto Network. I'm very happy with the whole experience. Ray has excellent customer service. He's hardworking and honest. The facility is spotless, and the cars look well cared for. And - this is cliche, but it's important in my book - he seemed like a genuine, good-hearted family man. A few years back my daughter was looking for her first car to buy. When we picked it up we took it to a mechanic who informed us that some work had to be done. We took it back and supposedly this outfit fixed it. We took it back to the same mechanic and he found even more things wrong with it. We had our mechanic fix the problems and presented Auto Network with a bill for the mechanical work. The dealer refused to fix. The California Bureau of Automotive Repair was contacted but their was nothing the agent could do since we did not allow the Auto Network to fix the problems first even though the dealer denied the problems existed. We went to CarMax to sell the car and they informed us that the car had been in an accident that bent the frame and showed us the damage inside the trunk. showed us the damage. The Cal. Bureau of Auto Repair agent would not assist us even with this new information and the dealer would not acknowledge. Let me start by saying the owner/only sales person at this dealership, Ray Milani is the absolute BEST! my daughters parked car had been totaled so she was looking to get a reasonably priced car. We saw a PT Cruiser on autonetworkcars.com & contacted Ray, he was so easy to work with. He met us at the dealership when it fit our schedule, gave us a full run down on the car, went for a test drive & my daughter fell in love with the car. He informed us of a coolant leak it had had before & that his mechanic worked on it but said if any issue comes up with it bring it back & he will take care of it. Now, most used car dealers will say that but never follow through, Ray is not like other dealers, we did end up with a couple minor issues with the car & he fully covered it. He even had a couple maintenance type things done & covered that as well. He has been the most amazing sales person I've ever worked with!! He is kind, caring & truly wants his customers to get the best car at the best price. I would actually not give this place one star, they completely ripped me off, the car I bought had a metal to metal contact on rear and front brakes, both outer cv boots where torn, they where probably torn for a long time that it needed new axels on both sides the flex plate in the transmission was loose, it was loose, I took it to dtla vw to confirm the transmission situation, subframe bushings where torn, when I brought this up to ray , he got angry and didn't want to pay the cost for repairs, I demanded for him to buy the car back , he refused, this was a horrible deal, car was in horrible shape, I should of known better, he recommended me to this mechanic that's suppose to be the best at what he does, the mechanic was in a small shop In a gasoline station , he was a hack, theres no way I would recommend this dealer to anyone, do your self a favor and go to a real dealership, this guy is just there to rip people off, everytime he sells you a car hes gonna tell you "you may not know this yet but we are going to be friends for a long time" more like enemies, don't step foot in this dealer guy only has screwed up cars and gets them fixed buy a screwed up place, go to a real dealership that would be liable for repairs if the vehicle you bought had problems, don't go to auto nation , its a horrible place, again please don't come here, my experience was horrible, I wouldn't want anyone to go with what I went through here, read more
