Auto Locksmith is a great service. The service is prompt, professional, reasonably priced and they are a locally owned business. I lost all my keys Tuesday a couple nights ago. Never thought that It would be such a disaster. I own a Chevy 79, Silverado pickup truck. A key for the ignition and one for the doors were all in the bundle I lost, no spares. Last night (Wednesday) I called AAA and they were able to send someone out of San Jose (I live in Oakland). They were able to make a key for my ignition but couldn't do the door key. So today (Thursday) I called "Auto Locksmith" a local company and they were able to assist me in getting the door key made. Their service was very prompt. I called them and 15 minutes later someone came by where my car was parked to help. I had told them that I would take out the key cylinder to make things easier as they come. I started the project... took down the door panel and got stuck. The help came... And in less than 3 minutes he was able to take the cylinder apart and went back to his van to make me a brand new key. The gentleman was very polite so I made conversation with him. He briefly explained his trade and how they advertise. So I told him I saw the business on Yelp. So he gave me a "Yelper Discount" which was great savings on top of a great price already. Once done making the keys we tried them (he made two copies) and they worked like magic. He said: " Don't worry losing keys happens from time to time but you are good now. Just make sure you separate your spares." And as he was almost leaving I remembered that my two gas tanks were also locked and I needed for him to pop them open my tank was almost on E. He did it at no extra charge and said keep them in this position until you buy new ones. I know losing keys sucks and its nothing that we plan... But if I was to recommend a locksmith it would definitely be "Auto Locksmith" read more

After pumping gas at Costco, I got inside the vehicle trying to leave, but the key will not turn. People were honking at me to move out the way, but my car was technically dead. After 30 minutes of trying to start the car to no avail, but the key just won't turn. I try lubing it with WD-40, had another guy helping me trying to turn the key. Nothing seems to work. Sweating and frustrated, I used my phone to do some research on google. I found out that the key cylinder has been damaged due to wear and tear. I was thinking about towing the car home or to a mechanic. However, first I want to explore other options if available . I typed in "auto locksmith" on google and took my change with Auto Locksmith. I call them and explain to them my situation. I asked them if they fix car ignition's cylinder. The dispatcher said yes, asked for my location, and he said someone will be there in 30-45 minutes. Ori was very professional and efficient at getting the job done. He knew exactly what to do. While fixing the locks, he even teaches me how lock system work, and reason why it broke down. He fixed the locks, replaced my damage keys, and made me extra spare keys. He also replaced my power lock FOB. I was more than happy to pay the price. Auto Locksmith saved me from a lot of headaches that day. Thanks Ori! read more

I highly recommend the auto locksmith job Ori, the technician does. Very fast in a user friendly manner he explained what will be the procedure in cutting and programming the spare Ford key fob blank, assuming the same Ford OEM key fob I needed for my just purchased pre-owned 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Ltd. which was given with only single key fob. Ori matched his company's phone quote by Alex and came to my address within the time-range given to me the previous day. Even if this was a Holiday weekend and many of his competitors are not available over the weekend or pretending that do not have a opening in the next few days. read more
