Frank came to save my evening!! I had lost my house keys (probably somewhere around the house) and didn't want to feel insecure that someone might be able to get into my house...so I called Auto Locksmith and they came out in 30 mins and rekeyed my front door...they are the BEST and Frank was awesome!!! THANKS A LOT!!!! read more

Great service. Daniel was the man! He was very professional and efficient. He definitely knew what he was doing. Got my problem fix in about 40 minutes. Best part was the price ~ read more

Horrible experience. Tech called out to program new keys. Tech left after not being able to figure out how to reprogram but still charged several hundred dollars. After a number of phone calls, missed, late appointments the same tech was sent again days later still unable to provide keys. Repeated phone calls to office resulted in their becoming "overwhelmed" so much so that they literally hung up the phone mid-conversation. Request for partial refund denied. No remedy to this day. I'm thoroughly disappointed and will not recommend them ever again. read more

Loved the service! Daniel was prompt, professional, efficient and courteous. He even beat the rate of a competitor. I will be sending new business to Auto Locksmith! read more

After pricing around for a re-key job I found Auto Locksmith to be the best deal in my area. What made it 5 stars was that I could trust the guy that worked on my car, Daniel and he was funny too! read more

Auto Locksmith is great because they have awesome employees. Our keys got locked in our car on an early Saturday morning. We were in a metered parking spot on a busy street. We started checking yelp and tried to call a few locksmiths, but they either didn't pick up or told us it would be an hour. We finally find Auto Locksmith and Daniel takes our call. He is there within 15 mins (5 mins sooner than promised) and gets to work right away. Takes him less than a minute to get my door open. He follows the procedure on paperwork and ask me for my registration etc. in a way that doesn't make you think, "He suspects this isn't my car." He is super friendly and allows us to use the Yelp coupon we just purchased while waiting for him to get there. This is another one of those, "I hope I never have to call you again for this, but I'm definitely using you again if I need to." No need to use any other locksmith. These guys are the best. read more

A Toyota dealer quoted me a price of $600 for a new key and programming plus the cost of towing my car to the dealership. Luckily I called this locksmith company and they were able to come to my car to cut and program a new key for my Toyota Corolla for only $219. I had a new key within an hour or two of calling them. Huge time and money saver.l! Not to mention my technician, Edgar, was really great at explaining the process. read more

Fantastic! Quick and prompt service, was able to take care of it after hours (7pm!) The best!

I lost my only car key and after looking everywhere for a week. I finally decided to call a locksmith. Picked this company because of good yelp reviews and was not disappointed. The price they quoted me was exactly what they charged me in the end. And the cost of making the keys was less than if I had gone to the dealership. They also came exactly at the agreed upon time and called 30minutes before to confirm. All in all the process of unlocking the car and making new keys took about an hour. I was impressed by the kind, courteous service. read more

Awesome locksmith, great service. Locked my keys in my trunk and no other locksmith or AAA would help me because my car locks were old fashioned. Nadav was able to meet me promptly, figure it out, find a creative solution, and was super nice about it. I wholeheartedly recommend their services. read more

I lost one of my Prius key fobs. Auto Locksmith was able to program a used fob I bought off Ebay -- no small feat. Big savings over the dealer. read more

Never have written a good review on Yelp before, so this means a lot! Not only were they cheaper than AAA (which I've been a lifelong member of) but they were at my car even before me. Quick, Reliable, Professional and just an overall good experience. Losing my keys sucked and I thought it was going to be a much bigger deal but it was so easy with these guys! read more

1st time I called they came out and said I had the wrong key way, charged a service fee of $35. After much hassle and a month later I had finally gotten the correct key, called them again to cut and program my key fob. Apparently the chip in the key fob was used and is unable to be reprogrammed. The tech said that his boss said to charge me $85 for the service fee this time, because it's the third time they have been out for this issue. If you were following along at home it was only the second. I have never heard a company punishing their customers for repeat business. There will not be a third call to them. read more

I am super impressed with the level of work provided by this company. The prices were reasonable and much cheaper than the dealership. I am so happy they came to my work and I was able to carry out my tasks without worrying about my car. Thank you so much for all you did to repair my remote keys!!! I totally recommend. read more

I used Auto Locksmith to unlock my mailbox since I never received a key when buying my condo. I arranged an appointment with Daniel the night before and James arrived the next day on time. Very courteous and professional and got the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of key services. read more

Exceptional service! Frank is awesome! He is knowledgable, kind, and honest. Because it was raining the day I called for help, he made it a point to get to me within an hour! How nice is that?! Oh did I mention his rates are the best in town? I called at least 5 other locksmiths and all quoted me $120 more! Hopefully I will not need an auto locksmith in the future, but if I do, Frank from Auto Locksmith is my go to guy. read more

Excellent service. Arrived on time. Initially booked for one vehicle but they accommodated us last minute for two vehicles and new location while giving us a better price. Thanks. read more

I lost my key to my 2000 BMW 528i. I looked and looked for a locksmith that was able to make a copy for my particular model. My first option was to go to BMW, but they were charging me $350.00 for a single key cut. So I took to Yelp. I found Auto locksmith and called for a quote. They quoted me $280 for a key. I made an appointment for a Friday during 4PM to 6PM I had to be somewhere by 6PM so I was anxious to have someone meet me so I can show them where my car was parked. I understood it was traffic hours and things happen, but I also made a commitment to be somewhere else. I kept calling the technician who said he was on his way, His name was Ori. We finally agreed on me doing what I needed to do and just meeting him back at my place. When I finally got back I met Ori. He was already getting started on my car. He was very polite and helpful. It took a while, but he figured it out. I ended up getting a regular key cut and a remote key all for $325.00 which I thought was such a good price seeing how much BMW was going to charge me. I was a pain in the ass and everyone I dealt with was really nice and still willing to help me. I want to thank Ori and the people at Auto Locksmith for the great service! I highly recommend this place! read more

I highly recommend using this company. They are very professional, on time and get the job done. Jay was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and quick. I ordered my keys online and Jay was able to cut and program the keys no issues. I am very happy and satisfied. read more

So, it was tough to decide how many stars exactly I should give here. In many ways my experience was really good, but trust is a biggie for me so I finally settled on two. Service from the tech in the field was GREAT. He showed up, was friendly, knowledgeable, happily explained how things worked (I like to geek out on stuff a bit) and did a good job. I also set him back 10 mins or so by opening one of my car doors while his computer was resetting my Prius's onboard computer forcing him to restart that process, and he was very accommodating and gave me no grief about it. Also, cheaper than the dealer and they come to you (in my case, it was same day) which is much more convenient. Unfortunately, my experience with the dispatcher on the phone was more middle of the road. He was friendly, but seemed inexperienced and couldn't answer a few of my questions. He promised to follow up on them, the most important of which was, do you have the correct remote for my car (with all 4 buttons on it, not just the 3 buttons on older models). I triple confirmed this detail with him because it's a brand new car, and they changed the fob this year. This one he put me on hold to get the answer for, and came back with a 'Yes, we have it in stock.' However, when the tech showed up to perform the fix, he only had the 3 button version. He called the shop, and was told that the 4 button was not in stock. So, I have now paid a boatload of money but am missing the remote A/C function on my new remote, which is a bit of a pain during my summers commuting to Pleasanton, but more importantly will hurt my resale value in the case that I decide to part ways with it. The issue wasn't not having the item in stock, it was not having it in stock, but promising that it was to get my business so I didn't call around to see if anyone else had it and could solve my problem in the way it should have been solved. read more

I lost my one of my Prius Smart Keys. It almost physically hurt when I realized how much it was going to cost me. The dealership quoted me around $400, so I figured the $250 at Auto Locksmith was probably the best I could get. I forget the man's name who helped me, but he was really nice and was done within half an hour. And apparently you don't have to pay the tax when you pay in cash! read more

great communication with the dispatcher, Daniel. He did have to call back to make sure he can get OEM smart key blank. gave price quote over the phone and after giving the okay, said someone would be there in one hour. It was about an hour when Jay the Tech called and said he was on his way. found out he had to go to Hayward to pick up the part. Once Jay arrived he went right to business and in about 40 i had a brand new keyfob that worked just like the one i lost. Half the price of what the dealer wanted, so the moral of this story is don't lose the key. if you do, call Auto Locksmith read more

Great experience overall. After realizing that my key was mysteriously broken in half on the way to my car, I was able to speak with Auto Locksmith and have a tech on the way before panic had set in. Despite the pouring rain, the tech was very friendly and helpful, and I was able to have two new keys made within a couple of hours. Highly recommended. read more

On Time, friendly, good customer service and reliable! I will refer my friends for sure! Thank you!!!

Lost all the keys to my 2002 Lexus but Auto Locksmith was there to save the day. Far better price than quoted by a lot of other locksmith's/dealerships. called on Sunday morning and they came out with 3 hours, the spare keys to our cars were stolen the night before. I want to make sure the cars were not stolen so I told them what happened and the rep made a couple of suggestions. In the end I had 3 keys made and the stolen keys were deactivated. He was done in about an hour. The cost was $380 not cheap but less than a dealer read more

I second the great reviews. I lost my car key on a late Thursday night. After frantically calling around on Friday morning, Auto Locksmith came to the rescue with a timely response and the lowest quote among the lot. The young man (Daniel) who showed up was friendly with a quick turnaround service. He even gave me the "dummy key" in case I ever locked my ignition key in the car. Losing a car key is a frustrating experience, and the last thing you want to do is haggle with countless other businesses for a reasonable rate and a quick turnaround. I highly recommend Auto Locksmith. read more
