Car got broken into and I had scheduled with another national company to replace the window, it was 6 days before they could get to it plus it was $200 more. I requested an online quote on Sunday morning and they had emailed me back within 2 hours apologizing the soonest that they could get to it was Monday, I was ecstatic that it was that soon. I called to schedule the appointment and they answered the phone(on a Sunday), scheduled it for Monday and they were here by 915 and completed within an hour. Professional, courteous service. I got a small star chip on my windshield about the size of a dime - the first after 20+ years and 230k miles of driving. I wanted it repaired before it spread, and told them I didn't care whether I could see it or not - I just didn't want to have to get a new windshield. With no appointment (and they were pretty busy) they got me finished in less than an hour and I can barely find the place where the star was. I do all my own work on my car, so I was interested in seeing how this works. They explained what they were doing and why, and let me watch the whole process. They were just super solid. Not much to say here that all of the other 100s of reviews didn't cover...I got a chip in my windshield a couple of weeks ago courtesy of the flyover at 35/45 while I was driving on Louis Hennah below. I swear I peed a little it was so freaking loud and out of no where! I should have taken my car in right then to see if it could be repaired, but of course I found other busy shit to do instead. Well yesterday morning while driving my kids to school, the windshield decided to spider web all the way across from one side to the other, and totally freak my kids out. That was actually kinda cool! I called Lisa yesterday and I was quoted $149.00 + tax for an 07 Honda Accord full replacement plus a $25 trim piece if they weren't able to save it. Great work, great service. All the 5 star reviews are correct. And based on those 308 five star reviews on Yelp they got my business. We were headed to a funeral in Abilene when a rock hit out windshield on IH20 just north of Pecos TX. It formed a star which usually means just a quick fix. The next day the star expanded to a huge crack that surly needed a new windshield. I call State Farm and said I wanted it replaced at Auto Glass Solutions, out next destination on the vacation trip. They forwarded the paperwork, no problem. The appointment was at 2pm, I arrived at 1:30pm, they started immediately. In 1.5 hours they were done. It was a complicated replacement with a new Collision Avoidance and Lane Keeping Assist System cameras mounted behind the rear view mirror directly onto the windshield. With a final QA inspection by the head guy at Auto Glass Solutions they walked me through the simple guidance to protect the repair for the next 48 hours. I could not be happier with the work. I needed windshield repair on a small chip that stayed same size for months. Called for a quote then called back a few days later to make the appointment. Once there, front desk person told me to go outside and meet with technician for details on chip repair. Technician said he was there to tell me that I'd still see the chip and that there is no guarantee that it won't grow. Mind you, smaller than a dime, and they supposedly guarantee up to a quarter size, and during neither phone calls, nor on the website, nor in the office were these chip repair details disclosed. Oh well, for $60 and 15 - 20 minutes of time and I was already there, I went ahead. As I was taking off truck keys to give to tech, there happened to be a very light drizzle, and it was taking me about 30 seconds to take off keys just cause sometimes I'm not as quick as I used to be:). Got barked at repeatedly to hurry up and give all keys. He sighed and said now I'll have to dry the windshield. I said sorry, I could come back when its not drizzling. He said no and then backed off. The work truck was blocking the open bay, so when tech got in to move truck, had to wait a few minutes. It was very silly, but between not being told on website, either call, nor in the office of the fact that crack would still appear and no guarantee that it would not spread, and the extra grumpiness of the tech, pretty unprofessional meh experience. I did call to let manager know, who was polite, but this was how they do things and I got the strong impression nothing is going to change. read more

Had the rear hinge on my 2003 Tahoe's lift gate fail. Apparently it is a common issue. I called just about every glass repair shop in town getting all types of quotes ranging from $345 to $1200 (Glass Doctor was the highest). I had 3 guys quote me around this $350 price point, Auto Glass Solutions, Campus Auto Glass, and Low Price Auto Glass. I went with Auto Glass Solutions because they were the closest to me, and could come out today and fix it. Dimitris did the install, called me when he got to my office, I left him with my car on the top of the parking garage, and he was done within 20 minutes, did the paperwork and he was off. I had my front windshield replaced today after a quarter-sized spider web spread into a crack that ran half-way across the windshield. Scheduling was easy and I took advantage of the mobile service to have them come to my office. Courtney was courteous and professional (and he saved my TxTag!!) and the cost noted in his paperwork matched the quote I got exactly (plus tax - I do wish the scheduling lady had included tax when we made the appointment. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it meant an extra $20). I got clear instructions at the end ("leave the tape on and window cracked for four to six hours") and a reminder that the work comes with a lifetime warranty plus an additional 1-year warranty for any new cracks. A cracked windshield is no fun and I'm hoping I never have to go through this again, but life happens and when it does, I'll give these guys a call for sure. read more
