After 3weeks of my Mercedes 2014 C250 purchase, all hell broke lose in terms of the mechanics of the car. I have to say that my experience at Auto Connections was very poor. Most of the issues stemmed from my interaction with one of the salesmen, Ray. From the beginning, I noticed that we were not really attended to. I was given the keys to the car I wanted to check out and left alone for the entirety of it. I personally didn't mind, as I already knew what I was looking for and what to look for. However, I feel it's important to point out, as others might appreciate a salesman being present during the process. I did appreciate the opportunity to test drive the car. Also, the pictures of the car, a 2008 Honda Fit, accurately reflected its condition inside and out, which was very clean. Unfortunately, that's about all the positives I have about my experience at this dealership. After the test drive, it all went downhill. When I was inspecting the car, we noticed a very loud screeching noise coming from the engine bay when starting it. I turned the car off, expecting someone to come over or at least explain what the noise was. No one did, even though I'm positive they heard it. I turned it on again. same loud screeching noise. It went away after a few seconds, and I assumed it was the starter. We did some quick research and confirmed that a weak starter was likely the issue. It's a common issue, but still a concerning one. When I brought this up to Ray, he insisted there was nothing wrong with the car and that it had been inspected. It was very concerning that he wouldn't even reassure me the dealership would inspect it again or confirm the issue. When I asked if they could negotiate the price based on the mechanical fault, I was immediately shut down. I then asked if they could at least fill up the gas tank to make up for it, and again was shut down. According to him, "we don't fill the tank up." I wouldn't have asked for a discount if he had simply reassured me that the car would be checked, but he failed to do even that. After this, Ray seemed completely unmotivated to even speak to me, much less sell me the car. He was very short with me, seemingly only saying the bare minimum. I don't understand his behavior, I was perfectly respectful throughout my time there, even after it was clear he was annoyed by having to assist me. I ultimately left without the car. I do not recommend visiting this dealership, or at least not working with Ray as your salesman. read more

There is no way the brakes were replaced. I now have driven less than 1000 miles in the past 4 months and the rear brakes need to be replaced. How could I bring the car back? I signed all the "as is" paperwork. You know you didn't replace the brakes but you choose to be dishonest. read more

UPDATE: Auto Connections continues to be the very best at customer service. Turns out our Mini Cooper had more issues than the spark plugs. Instead of leaving it with the local shop they sent a truck to pick it up and had it serviced by their own shop. In the end we got a new engine which was covered by the warranty and they checked it over several times to make sure all else was working properly. All along they offered to refund our money if the issues could not be resolved and communicated with us regularly. We are so happy we chose Auto Connections. Honest and fair are the words that come to mind after our experience today at Auto Connections. We went to their dealership this morning to check out a Prius that wasn't quite up to our expectations but ended up purchasing a different Prius on their lot. They had a very good selection of cars and one of the best aspects of this dealership is that they are a Carfax approved dealer and they have Carfaxes available on every single car in their lot. The car that we found was a single owner, no accident car that was in really good condition and runs like new. Mike and the staff there weren't pushy whatsoever and they didn't try to add on any of those hidden fees for things that you don't need. They happily gave us the keys to three different cars while we were there and didn't make us feel like we were wasting their time or anything. We took two cars out for test drives and just sat in a few others to check them out. All during this they were happy to help us out and answer any of our questions. I went to check out a 2015 Toyota Tacoma that I had my eye on for a while now. After having read all the positive reviews I was expecting to walk out with that truck. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to find that the truck had a leak and the salesman, Mike, showed no intention on having it fixed. It almost seem as though they were not interested in selling. In any case after being reassured that the truck had gone through their inspections finding that very overt problem was of putting. Be warned their inspections appear to be anything but comprehensive. Out right finding a so apparent problem is telling of the dealer practices and the state of their inventory.
