They are honest, fair, do great work, and have excellent customer service. I got my Lexus hybrid 06' repaired here twice, and the cost almost surprised me. I live in river oaks, so I was expecting to have to take out a loan to cover costs. But no, It was a fair and manageable price for the service. Friendly service but just stick to the basic oil change or inspection here. Don't do any major repairs. My lexus engine light kept coming on (I had left off the gas cap during the freeze) and after many resets the light kept coming up. They diagnosed it as needing to replace the carbon filter and all these valves. I was quoted over $2k. I took it to Lexus for a second opinion. Lexus reset the engine light and said there's absolutely nothing wrong with my engine, filters or valves. Saved myself $2k read more

I took my car in for a fuel pump replacement and I got it back leaking fuel from the top of the fuel tank , I returned it to get it right the next day at 8 am , and nothing was done , they call me until 3:13 pm just ask if they can put fuel in my car to see if it leaked , by then it was to late to be worked on , so nothing was do to it all day , I tried to get it Thur but they say their to booked , I paid 749.00 for it and ever got it fixed , that the most I paid for a fuel pump replacement, now I have a car that leaks fuel , don't waste ur time at this place, they'll get u out of ur money and don't know much about working on car , I have to do it myself , rip off , the office wasn't professional either , and I'm from out of town , poor service, read more

I always stop here for an oil change and they always do a great job. Best prices you'll going to find anywhere. I drove around once for an oil change and the price doubled from what it is here. I been getting my oil change here for over 5 yrs, I don't think there's another one like this one. Brought in an older vehicle to get inspected. It had been sitting up a while, so I was a little worried that it might not pass the emissions testing. Auto Care USA has been the place where I got my inspections before--but no more! These guys are a rip off. The guy came back to me after a few minutes and said that it would not pass inspection because of the drive belt. They said it would cost $115 dollars, but they could not do it that day. Of course, I didn't have that cash available right then anyway. On the way home, I decided to stop at another shop to get a quote for the drive belt. I explained what had happened at Auto Care, and they told me that the drive belt is not even part of the inspection--and DEFINITELY NOT something that would fail it. They just wanted to get more $$, obviously. Buyer Beware!! read more

My extended family and I have all used this business for many years. They know us by name and the special needs of any of our vehicles. Their flexible drop-off after hours is great for me as I work past the time the shop closes. I can drop it Friday night and just pick it up when done on Saturday. They have also helped us in some unusual situations-like the state inspection bureau said they never received the report and the team at Auto Care USA went above and beyond to provide proof of submission. Lies and incompetence! Caliber Collision sent my truck to Auto Care USA to do alignment on my truck after Caliber finished the body work from a wreck and Auto Care USA could not get it aligned to factory specs and said my truck had worn out parts. They were wrong! Then when they were forced to take truck back for alignment they lied and said it was in factory specs. Thank god for Nissan dealership who diagnosed a bent spindle caused by the wreck. But thanks to Auto Care USA's incompetence and lies I spent 600 dollars on the wrong parts they said I needed repairing my own truck. read more

I have been using Auto Care USA for several years for inspections, regular maintenance services and some mechanical repairs. I have always been pleased with their work and they stand by their repair work with a 2-year warranty. I find they are prompt, fairly priced and easy to deal with. I have only had one issue that they were unable to resolve; an erroneous brake light warning issue. As soon as they realized it was out of their wheelhouse, they referred me to the dealership. I appreciate the fact that they knew their limits and saved me the cost of experimentation. Many shops will continue to change out components until the problem is resolved, and the customer ends up paying for all of the labor and parts that weren't required to resolve the issue. read more

I had a really good experience here yesterday when I took my daughter's Prius in because she had hit some road debris which resulted in a clicking sound. They got to the car right away and removed a piece of metal from her car and replaced a broken clip. They did all of this within 30 minutes and they didn't try to sell me anything else. For the review about the inspection, and the bad belt. Your belts are part of the State inspection if it drives the powersteering pump. If your belt breaks due to excessive cracks, the you lose your powersteering, and the State of Texas considers it a safety concern. If the belt breaks during a turn, and you lose your powersteering you could run into on coming traffic. Its not a fun job being a state inspector, the state can throw you in jail for not looking over the entire vehicle, it the inspector does not follow the strict rules set forth by the state of Texas, the shop also faces heavy fines. WIth that said, I just wanted to make sure that everyone had all the knowledge about why a drive belt can fail a state inspection. Thanks, Conley W. read more

Price they gave me was ridiculous to fix an O2 sensor. They still charged me for a diagnostic at $69 even though I already brought in the diagnostic which had the information they needed to replace the part. I left and got it done somewhere else and was much happier. Found another place charging $100 less. Not good customer service. read more

My previous review was a 3 star and more steered toward the negative, but that is before I found out how much places like Flanagan were ripping me off. I dropped my car off for an inspection and since the guy at the front said it was going to take about 30 minutes I didn't feel like waiting and left the car there and my husband picked me up to go to lunch. I always get concerned because my car is 12 years old and was worried they were going to say my car need this and that but nope, everything went by smooth. They didnt try to sell me anything and only did my inspection which is what I came for. My mother in law has been telling me about this place because she got her oil changed there when she used to live in the area because they were always friendly and wait time was quick or reasonable. I'm not sure why I waited so long to finally come here but i'm glad I did. I will come here for my other car needs and so will my husband. I like that the people are friendly and greet you as soon as you come in and especially because they didn't try to sell me something. read more
