I am a single mom who was in need of a new vehicle from to a three car hit-and-run in my driveway. When you plan to buy a vehicle you have time to psych yourself for all that entails. I did not have time for this and am so glad I came across Auto Advantage. My experience was wonderful, easy and quick, also in the middle of a pandemic. It took about 30 minutes total to do all of the paperwork (in the past it had been hours and lots of mansplaining.). All of my questions were answered with no mansplaining. . I never knew buying a car could be this easy! I bought a Town & Country minivan and I couldn't believe how clean it was... Amazing, runs great, feels like new. I got a great deal and highly recommend Auto Advantage. You will not be disappointed. Give them a try,

I had the pleasure to deal with both Vic and Erik. I found the car online and inquired. Their response was fast and informative. They were not pushy and answered all my questions upfront. I wanted to assure the car was in good shape and in perfect working condition before I committed to flying out and buying the car. Vic made me feel very comfortable when I requested more photos and information on the car as he sent me over 65+ photos and told me every small scratch or issue. Once I got arrived they were fast and had everything ready. Erik helped me test drive it and bam 35 min later I was on my 10 hour journey home. I inspected the car at my shop and it was in the great condition they both told me. I have received my license plate and registration in less than a month and I applaud them for their time and pleasant experience they provided. Thank you guys! I am now a proud owner of a dream car I've always wanted.

Found a great used Sienna with low mileage here and the process to purchase was pretty quick. I did pay the car off with a check, so if you finance the car, it might take a little longer. The test drive process was easy and Francisco was awesome. He answered the questions we had and was not pushing extra stuff that dealers try to have you buy. I would definitely recommend this place looking for a used car.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm a first time car buyer and Francisco made the entire experience perfect. From the initial call, to financing, to test driving, all of it was great. He was very polite and very honest. The car itself is in great condition. They boast that they truly buy clean cars and they do. All the cars they sell are covered in their lot and they have used cards that don't pass their own inspection that they refuse to sell to consumers like us. The whole process was so easy and quick and I 10/10 recommend their services. So far my car has been perfect!

Just sold my car to Erik. Simple and easy process. His price was fair and significantly more than Carmax. I'd recommend him.

She was helping our daughter purchase a car, and throughout the process the numbers kept changing. Every time we spoke with her, more costs were added and the price was constantly adjusted. After finally agreeing on a deal, signing day became even worse. Adriana told our daughter that she had to purchase the warranty or they would not sell her the car. My husband directly asked if the warranty was mandatory, and Adriana admitted it was not but she won't sell that car without my daughter purchasing it. However, she then said that if we declined the warranty, they would require an additional $4,000 down payment in order to move forward with the sale. That immediately felt dishonest and extremely misleading. It seemed very clear they were hoping we would not carefully read the contract or question the terms. When we confronted Adriana about the contradictions, she repeatedly changed her story and claimed she "didn't remember" saying certain things. What makes this even more disappointing is that my husband and I previously purchased three vehicles from the National City location and never experienced anything like this. We were always treated fairly there. I strongly encourage anyone considering this dealership to read every document carefully, ask questions, and do not allow yourself to be pressured into unnecessary add-ons. Thankfully my husband and I were there with our daughter, otherwise she could have easily been taken advantage of. If you decide to purchase from this company, I would recommend going to the National City location instead.

After going to all the used car…read moredealers from Temecula all the way down to El Cajon, without a doubt CarMax stood out as the best. While I bought the car expecting a vehicle that needed almost no service, there is nothing in this market nowadays like that. If a vehicle is traded in and especially from auction it's a problem car. Even dealership get fooled so I would never buy an auction car. Having said that in this case the CarMax dealership is a clear winner in all of this mess. Sadly. I had a bit of a "tale of two experiences" at this location. I recently purchased a 2019 Lexus RX 350, and initially, I was ready to give a 5-star review. The sales process was incredibly smooth--no pressure, the paperwork was efficient, and the staff at the Dan Way location were professional and welcoming. However, the "after-care" has been a different story. Shortly after the purchase, a mechanical issue arose that was clearly covered under the 30-day limited warranty. While I expected a quick fix, the service department has made it incredibly difficult to actually get the car in. When there the team could not diagnose the issue and asked to have me return if the issue persists. However; The Challenges: * Scheduling: Trying to get an appointment was a headache. I was told they were "extremely busy" and couldn't see the car for over a week, despite it being a warranty issue on a car they just sold me. * Resolution: While the issue is technically "covered," the hurdle of getting it diagnosed and repaired has turned an "easy" buying experience into a stressful ownership experience. I love the Lexus, but the service side of this CarMax needs a major overhaul in terms of accessibility and customer support. If you buy here, just be prepared for a potential fight if anything goes wrong during your warranty period

By choice. That's another story. But, I had no credit history, no down payment, and saw an ad on Craigslist. A day later, they had me in a vehicle with a very low down payment (that was flexible) and a very low monthly payment. Paid the loan off in 4 years. I now began my journey for another, better, vehicle. Every dealer from South Bay to Carlsbad said no. Went on Craigslist again and ran into the same dealership. Messaged them at 8pm and they replied within minutes. Next day, they had me approved! Not only for the vehicle I wanted, but with a decent monthly payment. Because of my work schedule, I was not able to get to the dealer until the next day (Friday). That evening, I was driving home in MY new (used) vehicle. On top of all of this, the vehicle I originally wanted was at their other dealership in Orange County. They drove all the way there to bring it down to Escondido for me. I felt bad because when I got there, they let me test drive another same year, make, and model vehicle, but wanted this one instead. I still test drove the one I originally wanted but they had no issues with me changing my decision. I mean, c' mon! That's some customer service right there. I'm telling you. If you've ever been turned away from other dealerships and you feel hopeless, please give this place a try and reach out. I know I sound like a paid advertisement but I'm not and everything I say is true. I've bought from this dealer twice now and each time they were able to get me approved! Thanks Quantum! Keep up the good work!

They had priced it fairly according to Kelley Blue Book. We had test drove a similar van at another dealership that was actually more expensive and not in nearly as nice shape as the one we bought from Baldwin. They allowed me to have my mechanic come out and do a pre-purchase inspection. The only flaws he found fall under basic maintenance and normal wear and tear on a used vehicle. As the van was already priced under valuation I made them a fair offer on it and they accepted. It was about as clean and easy of a purchase as I could ever expect. By the way, the negative reviews on here made me hesitant to check out the van at all. But when I read the negative reviews on here, they are from folks who either couldn't qualify for financing or bought a vehicle that was really old with high mileage. So complete your due diligence on a vehicle, find out if you can qualify for financing, and have a mechanic check it out before you buy. I did all those and got a great deal.

The automotive market has changed drastically--sub-$10,000 used to buy a solid, reliable car, but…read morethose days are gone. Today's used car buying experience often boils down to three things: Conviction, Conjecture, and Concealment. My experience buying a CBUA inline-5 from Baldwin Auto showcased all three. Concealment: Despite paying above-market price for a vehicle with over two dozen exterior body defects and six damaged interior items, I was willing to accept the cosmetic flaws if the mechanics were sound. Unfortunately, critical issues were hidden: The Battery: Every time we visited the lot, the battery was actively being charged. Right after purchase, it completely collapsed to 4 volts. Fuel Tank Sender: On longer drives, the sender sticks, causing the fuel gauge to drop straight to zero. Our PPI missed it, but an extended test drive would have caught it. Missing Accessories: The spare tire, tire kit, and floor mats were all removed prior to sale. Contract Loophole: Instead of standard disclosure, the 3-day California Contract Cancellation Option (cool-off period) was framed as something sold to us, modified to 5 days for an additional fee. Conjecture: Noticing evidence of a past oil leak, the salesman (Don) claimed, "All engines consume oil," citing broad manufacturer disclaimers as an absolute fact. While some engines do, not all do--presenting misinformed opinions with authority is misleading. Conviction: After sitting on the lot for over two months, the car suddenly had two "other interested buyers" the moment we were making a decision. An incredible coincidence designed to force a quick sale. Takeaway for future buyers: If you are set on buying a specific vehicle from Baldwin Auto, assume there are hidden issues and make it your job to find them. Take a much longer test drive, insist on the standard California cancellation option without inflated fee structures, and be prepared to pay a restocking fee if necessary rather than getting stuck with costly, concealed repairs
