I had an awesome experience working with Wyatt and JJ! I was badly in need of an inexpensive, reliable car, as my own car had a blown power steering module. After doing thorough research online, I knew right away that I couldn't afford to go through a Honda dealership. JJ is awesome - super laid back and also knowledgeable about his Civics (probably all of their cars too). We test drove a perfect 2013 Civic LX coupe, and the car drove wonderfully. I let JJ know that there was a certain aspect of the car that needed to be fixed, as it was a deal breaker for me, and he assured me that it would be taken care of the next day. Sure enough, it was! We worked out a price that would work out for both of us positively, and honestly there was ZERO haggling involved. We used the numbers from Kelly Blue Book to come to a reasonable agreement, and that was that. These guys are not sleazy, pushy salesman who are trying to turn a big profit. Great and fast place. My windshield got a chip that turned into half way up a crack on my windshield. My car has one of the camera sensors on the front so I was getting quoted 1k+ plus from other places not including labor. I was able to get a 3rd party glass for a third of the price here with installation. The glass did come a little dirty and some dirt smudge marks around the windshield on the paint. But it took less than 5 min to clean. Considering the money I saved I'm fine with that. Also fast, I figured I would have enough time to get lunch at money pit while I waited but I got called while I was still eating that it's ready. Got this 4/5 months ago and wanted to wait to make sure everything was still good later on. No complaints and the only difference is some text on the passenger side top right, prob the model number of the glass. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about both JJ and Wyatt and Discount Auto Gallery. This was my first experience buying a car and they made the process very straightforward and understandable and they were also always easy to reach throughout the process. I bought a Prius C through them that they had advertised on Craigslist and it was definitely the best price I was able to find and the car had super low miles. They also gave me the complete car fax report with a comprehensive history. They gave me the price upfront and there were no sneaky fees or add-ons and they even got the car's oil changed and put new tires on and detailed it before I picked it up. After I had been driving the car for about a month I noticed one of the door locks had stopped working and also a back window so I called them to see if they could help and they scheduled an appointment for me with their mechanic for the very same week. (Both the window and the lock just needed to be recalibrated, it was no fault of Discount Auto or anything they could've predicted) Even though it was not their fault they still fixed it for me with no hassle! I've owned dozens of vehicles over the past 16 years, have always paid cash for my cars ($3K-$7K range), and always from private parties. For the first time ever, I decided to finance a newer vehicle... that meant a first-time interaction with the world of used car dealerships. Despite never having gone to a dealership, I was biased against them and highly skeptical. The stereotypical sleezeball con artist image stuck in my mind, thanks to tales from people with bad experiences, Hollywood movies, etc. After securing a loan with SDCCU, I searched Craigslist up and down for over a month for something basic and reliable. I noticed that one dealer on there had consistently cheaper pricing on his cars than all the rest by a good 10-15%. I called the number and spoke with Wyatt, expressing my interest in a 2013 Accord. He informed me that though the car was getting detailed at the shop, I was still welcome to come take a look. Drove up and met Wyatt in person, and his brother JJ. From the start, my misconceptions about crooked dealers began to very quickly dissipate. These folks were a family business, well-educated, patient and honest, with zero sales pressure. The first thing Wyatt did was to show me the Carfax report and fully disclose that the vehicle had a collision in the past, all of which was repaired, and that the warranty and title were unaffected. To me, the car looked brand new inside and out, with no sign of repairs or an accident; I would never had known had Wyatt not told me. I liked the car and wanted to seal the deal, but was unable to test-drive it the same day because I was in a bit of a rush. I signed the paperwork with a gentleman's agreement with Wyatt that should I drive the vehicle the next day and decide to change my mind, we'd cancel the paperwork, no obligations. He was very flexible with my needs, and even arranged to have the vehicle tinted for me at cost. The next day, I called to arrange a pickup time with Wyatt, who even offered to drop the car at my house if my schedule was tight. We completed the paperwork at his office, and he explained every piece of paper I was signing, methodically and patiently. He was very diligent, and had already filled out the appropriate sections to save me time. I received a follow-up message from him the night I took the car home and in the morning as well, asking how everything was. My first dealer experience could not have been better, and that is thanks to Wyatt and JJ. In the short time while we were completing the paperwork, Wyatt had four repeat customer show up who were there to buy a second car, or with friends they had referred; testimony to the quality of their service and professionalism. These guys are honest, treat you with respect, there is no rush to sell you anything, and have excellent communication skills. My husband and I wanted to purchase a Toyota Camry for our younger son. The need to purchase came fast, because we sold his previous car kind of unexpectedly (on Valentine's day.) Not knowing what to expect, we almost thought we were lost, or didn't have the right address. The dealership location is in a commercial business strip mall, with a regular store front, but upon arriving we didn't know that all cars are stored indoors. Not wanting to write a long review and too much detail, I just want to state that we ended up buying the car (a Toyota Camry 2012), and we have received top-notch service from Wyatt and J.J. This is a small dealership with a dozen or less cars and they earn their income by fast turn-around due to the excellent pricing and their personalized, helpful service. Since the car we purchased only arrived to their lot on Saturday (when they started advertising it), it needed the smog check before we could drive it away. They immediately took care of that along with the necessary paperwork. At the time of purchase the car didn't have the Manual and the master key (was still with the auction company), but both items arrived in the mail within a week, as promised.
