He took on a complex job for us, cutting several slabs of delicate and expensive quartzite stone. We were very impressed by his precision, transparency, and care throughout the process. Our project involved a large kitchen island with waterfall sides and mitered edges, a lengthy countertop with a sizable sink cutout, and full backsplash walls. Miguel customized every piece to fit perfectly around our custom cabinetry--down to an eighth of an inch. His meticulous attention to detail ensured that the natural veining, lines, and color variations of the quartzite flowed beautifully from one section to the next. Miguel is patient, honest, communicative, and truly committed to high-quality craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the results and wholeheartedly recommend his work.

If you want to hear about the overall experience and level of service, then read on... I started off my search by messaging multiple people/companies about countertop fabrication and installation. Some messaged me back, some gave very minimal responses, some places had high prices, some didn't have time for all of my questions. This is the first time I've done any countertop work and I did a lot of research on many different places and scoured the Hayward/San Leandro area and beyond to look at different countertops, designs, etc. Alvaro always responded to all my messages and emails. Every single time. Sometimes my messages would be weeks apart. When I finally made my decision to go with him, it was well over a month from when I first contacted him. He stuck with me all along the way and that left an impression on me, especially in this type of business. I had a few strange questions about different options and configurations of the counters and he was always responsive with open and honest opinions and information. Once I finally picked out my material, he met me at the shop where I purchased the counter to check out the material and he helped me make sure we were getting a good piece that wasn't too warped. All of this helped reassure me that he approved of my selection and that his trained eye could notice things that I wouldn't be able to notice on my own. He picked up the slab with his truck and took it off to fabricate and cut. He showed up a few days later for the install and it was done in no time. Oh, I forgot to mention that he stopped by and did a consultation and looked everything over and provided a ton of really helpful advice and analysis of the job, how he would suggest doing it, what he wouldn't suggest etc. He also brought some samples with him for me to check out and offered a great price on countertops that he already had on hand. The entire experience is everything that you would hope for in a countertop install. I will recommend him to anyone that need any countertop work. The pricing was some of the best I could find, the work was high quality (still looking great and holding up 7 months in) and Alvaro was a pleasure to work with. Thank you very much for everything!

I like that his focus is on fabrication and not on material sales. Outstanding Quality and Customer Service - would not use anyone else! Plamar Fabrication has once…read moreagain exceeded our expectations. This was the third project they have completed for us, and they continue to deliver outstanding craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service every single time. For this remodel, they fabricated and installed beautiful countertops throughout our home, including our kitchen and multiple bathrooms. The quality of their work is exceptional. Every seam, edge, and finish is flawless, and the attention to detail is second to none. The finished product completely transformed our home. A special thank you goes to Aldrin, who is absolutely incredible. He is committed to making sure every project is completed perfectly and on time, no matter what it takes. During our remodel, at the last minute we added the powder room we needed within 48 hours. Even though they were already extremely busy, Aldrin immediately found time to fabricate the countertop and found someone to remove the old countertop without breaking the existing wall to wall mirror, and install the new countertop so our project stayed on schedule. That kind of responsiveness, problem-solving, and dedication is incredibly rare. They consistently put their customers first. Their pricing is very reasonable, they communicate exceptionally well, they show up when they say they will, and they consistently deliver exactly what they promise. After three projects together, they have earned our complete confidence and trust. If you're looking for beautiful countertops and a company that truly stands behind its work, Plamar Fabrication is the team to call. They never disappoint, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The high standard that Aldrin and his team have set make it impossible to consider someone else.
