Their customer service is the worst! I had no problems whatsoever when it was FrontPoint but as…read moresoon as it changed to Alert360 things went down the hill. FrontPoint always provided the panel's battery replacement and new sensors for free, forget about it with Alert360. Whenever I tried to contact them to get assistance or to talk to a representative it took me about 30 minutes to be able to find a phone number to call them. Once I had them on the phone their assistance was of no help, some of the agents were even curt and didn't see to care about my issue. For financial reasons I had to cancel the service, last thing I remembered I was told with FrontPoint that there were no contracts and could cancel at any time without problems. Well, since moving to Alert360 it seems that one is under a contract since you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel or else you will be charged. Since I cancelled at the beginning of September they charged me for the month, ok that's fine, but I gave them my notification before October and guess what?! They went ahead and charged me for the month with no service! Ha! I called them twice to get the charge refunded (the woman that answered was pretty rude by the way), last agent I spoke to told me the refund should've been made right away on my first call! He said the refund would be posted in my back account within 5-7 days...it's already half month and no amount has been refunded so I had to dispute the charge which is still in process. Please don't trust this people and their business practices, they will screw you up any chance they get and you won't see a penny if you are asking for money back! **UPDATE: I received a call from one their representatives on October 29 telling me they had sent me a check on October 16 and I should get it shortly. Well, it is now November 7 and I still haven't received any check yet. I submitted a review at the ConsumerAffairs website and the BBB. My bank is also disputing and investigating this issue. I still don't recommend them and wouldn't go back to them even if their service was free... **UPDATE (11/22/24): The company called me to tell me that the check they had sent went back to them due to them missing to write down the apartment number (you would think they have the complete address since they're a security systems company! The irony!), fine, I gave the correct address and the agent says they'll resent the check. Next day, I received another call saying they couldn't send the check since they don't have the complete address! This company is just joking with me at this point! What type of training is the staff getting? They don't know how to write down notes in one's file??? It's ridiculous, a joke and a waste of time! My bank still dealing with the dispute (about two months ongoing now!) which they shouldn't have to...shm. I have updated every single complaint I put out there about this company (Google, Yahoo, BBB, Consumer Affairs, Yelp, etc.) so people will realize the kind of business this is and to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER!

It was a lot to cover properly. I already had a SimpliSafe alarm system and didn't want to hire a company that wanted to sell me monthly video monitoring. After much research and reading reviews I hired Vital Security. Now, I'm a genius. They installed an 8 channel system this week. The cameras are HD and IR. The resolution quality is amazing, even in the dark! We had the monitor and DVR set up in my wife's office. And though she was not entirely sold on the need for such a system she is now a huge fan. Yesterday, she saw some city workers approach the side of our house and went outside to see what they were up to. Later, she came back to her office and noticed a package was sitting on the front porch. She loves it. The phone app is great and easy to view all the cameras live. That is how we will monitor the system when we are away at our summer home. Now, to mention the Vital Security team. I was able to get a quick and fair quote from them as they utilized a satellite map of our home. They arrived on time they day we had scheduled, even though a big storm was coming. They did what work they could before the storm hit. They were back the next day and completed the job, even though I added an extra camera request. The installation was very neat and clean and they took great care to hide cables. Not only is the equipment excellent and the installation executed perfectly, I must add that they are great guys and really easy to work with. Truly trustworthy professionals. The bus - that they illegally park on the street when it's not being used - loads employees up in the middle of the road and takes them to a job site, apparently. I wanted some hard wired security cameras since WiFi seems to always be spotty these days. They not only gave me great quality cameras that I can view from my TV, I can also view them remotely from my phone. This company also installed a really cool alarm panel that displays my photos when not in use, a keyless entry lock on my front door, and I can remotely open and close my garage door.. I'm gonna ask them back soon for the carbon monoxide detector since we have a fire place, hopefully a sensor on my driveway to tell me when someone passes it, and connect my monitoring system to my irrigation system and my outdoor lights to make them remote as well. So impressed by what this company and its owner can do and how professional they are on the phone and on the job!!

After some research, I actually got this recommendation from a friend of mine, who had a whole house solution built out by them while she was in the construction phase of her build. They were clear and organized on the phone, we were able to schedule a time that worked for everyone, and they were very professional and considerate of my gear and space. Everything was explained, there were no additional hidden costs, or anything like that. I was a little worried because my house is 50 years old, and has some odd spacing in the joists, but it was not a problem for them. My installer, Jay, was super helpful, and worked with me to get the positioning of the speakers perfect for Dolby Atmos. I can't say enough good things about the experience! I'm pretty active with my DIY, but I had never used fish tape wire pullers or anything, and I'm so glad I left it to the pro's, there was a lot of skill/technique involved in this install.
