They…read moreare not your typical, fancy car dealership, with the sales team vultures stalking and swirling around you. The owner, John Phillips, is an honest man, just trying to make a living. I found the car online and had to drive from Galveston to Hutto to go get it. John held the car for me for 2-3 days until I could get out there; even though, he had other offers on it. When we got there, he handed me the keys, and allowed us to test drive the car by ourselves, trusting us to come back. Neither him, nor his friend and co-worker, Mike, bothered us while we were looking at the car, checking for damage, making sure all the buttons, lights, etc. worked; and that the car was in good condition. They were actually helpful and answered all of our questions with no pressure. They were no hassle, straight-up, and to the point. Not to mention, they gave us a great deal on the price!!! They made the car buying process quick and painless, in fact, it was a very pleasant experience. He even offered to take care of us, if any issues happened after we purchased the car. Additionally, they recommended a cute cafe for us to eat at afterwards, which was delicious and another pleasant experience. Needless to say, it was well worth the long drive to Hutto, and we will definitely be purchasing our next car from them. It is rare to find genuine, honest, good people like John and Mike. Thank you for making our car buying experience as painless and pleasant as possible! We greatly appreciate it and wish there were more people like you!

I called and left a message Monday morning and received a call back from the owner, John Phillips. I pass by his lot every day coming and going and noticed that he always seemed to have lots of nice looking stock on hand. I was in the market for a late model Infiniti and noticed that he had several on hand. When John called me back, I delivered my typical "This ain't my first rodeo speech," so as to let him know that I was not going to be a push over. John was very humble and friendly, it was immediately apparent to me that working with him was going to be fun and easy. After speaking on the phone a few times, curiosity finally got the better of me and I stopped by after work. John is a man's man who loves to talk about fishing and his kids, and we got along famously. He presented me with several options, and earned my trust by revealing several aspects of the deal that are normally kept from customers. It was an educational experience, even for someone like me whose bought several cars and has friends who have their dealers license. The car had some minor imperfections, but John made some calls and got me taken care of. As it turns out, this is not his first rodeo either and he is incredibly well connected, and apparently incredibly influential with his business contacts as he was able to get me some nice freebies and discounts. Having purchased 10 cars since moving to Austin, most of them at Austin Infiniti, I had a good basis for comparison for rating a car buying experience. John and Texas Auto Ranch are far and away the best I've ever encountered, and because of integrity, his personality, and his willingness to go above and beyond, he's earned a customer for life. Here are some pointers: 1. Call him first to find out if he has what you want, or visit his website. 2. He may be able to find what you want if he doesn't already have it. 3. Be nice and you'll be amazed at the level of service you receive. 4. Give John a shot at your financing even if you already have your own lined up. He could have saved me some money, as it turns out. 5. Compare his prices to anyone in town; you'll be amazed. 6. Tell him that you contacted him because of his YELP page, so he'll believe me when I tell him it will actually increase his sales.

What really stood out was the genuine care and attention he provided. In a world full of choices where everybody can do the same thing, service can feel rushed or impersonal, Duncan's approach felt authentic. That my friends is something that is hard to teach. A smile can be shown but you can feel something else. He spoke to me about my vehicle as if it were his own, and that level of commitment reassured me. I left feeling confident in the quality of the work done. If you're in need of service, I highly recommend reaching out to Duncan and his team--they truly make a difference! I've been in the auto industry for over 20 years and truly appreciate when I feel I'm taking care of. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

This level of commitment and understanding from a dealership was unexpected and deeply appreciated. My mom, too, was delighted by the kindness and professionalism shown by Janie over the phone. Finalizing the paperwork was smooth, filled with friendly banter and laughter with Juan, marking a perfect end to the day. I can't express enough gratitude towards Apple Leasing for their genuine approach, making sure their customers are not only satisfied but also well-informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. Let me start by putting my bias out front: I hate the dealership experience. I hate the upselling…read morewhen you get in front of the finance manager and the strategic//infuriating waiting they make you do when they have "ask their manager" anything. I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. I even got a better interest rate than the last time, all things considered. Angel was my rep again and when I went to test drive the vehicle I was going to purchase, I asked him if I could take it to a mechanic to get it inspected. He didn't hesitate to approve this, which shows how ethical they are as a dealership! The day after the purchase, however, the check engine light came on. I took it to the repair shop first to get the code pulled and then called and talked to Steve at Greg Chapman. He told me to bring it in and they were able to fix the two issues that pulled up right away. Not only this, but they noticed the navigation system was wired in a way that would drain my battery, so they re-wired it to prevent that from happening again. All in all, I had a great experience with the first vehicle and I had a great experience with this one! I'm grateful for their in-house financing more than anything. Highly recommend.
