I was incredibly detailed regarding the items that needed to be moved/broken down. Estimated 7 hour move. I understand if it went a couple extra hours over, but it took 12 hours to move our items. How is an estimate THAT far off? When I spoke with the owner, essentially he blamed me for my lack of information! I'm an incredibly detailed person! I gave approximate length, width, depth and weight of all our furniture and I explained what needed to be taken apart. He even commented "wow, you're probably the most thorough person". I'm not sure why the crew was surprised. We talked about different options (i.e. an additional moving truck) and I trusted his recommendations. I feel like there was a lack of integrity on his part for deciding one truck was enough as it would make it harder to get all our items moved. He had all the information he needed to provide a more accurate estimate yet somehow failed to do so. Additionally, several well wrapped items were broken. The lack of understanding from the owner and the blame placed on me for things that were not my fault at all was incredibly unprofessional! I'm not sure how much more detailed I could be, I didn't want any crazy surprises, which is why I was so thorough. They came recommended which is why I used them, but I will never use them or recommend them to anyone else!

I can't say enough good about them. They arrived on time in south Austin at a storage facility and immediately went to work. They moved a huge storage bin full of boxes (which had previously been packed) into a 26' moving truck. They were courteous, professional, efficient and quick. It took them 55 minutes! I thought it might take all day, but I was wrong. I then had them come to my residence and load some heavier furniture that I didn't place in the storage facility. That was efficiently completed as well and I would say it took all of 45 minutes. They brought dollies and heavy furniture moving equipment. They took the time to make sure all the items, boxes and furniture were securely tied down and I was ready to take the truck on a long cross country trip. I can't recommend these men enough and Leon Moving would definitely be my choice for any move you have coming up. Total cost was $350.00. Well worth it, because they did all the heavy lifting. I was transitioning from a temporary RV living situation, consolidating storage units, downsizing years of accumulated belongings, and moving into a 1BR apartment. The storage units had been packed tightly by previous movers and required careful staging and decision-making during the move itself. The crew worked methodically, blanket-wrapped furniture, pointed out and documented pre-existing marks before loading, and handled difficult maneuvering with impressive skill. They even opened boxes during the process so I could decide in real time what should move, stay, or be repacked. Nothing felt rushed or careless. I had already done substantial prep work to reduce clutter and create access paths, which helped the process, but the team still completed what was conservatively estimated as a 7-hour job in under 5 hours. They assembled the bed, staged furniture, laid rugs, and helped make the apartment immediately functional. Most importantly, they treated both the belongings and the customer with respect throughout the entire process. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience.

I had some old scrap wood and pallets to get rid of along with an old twin metal bed frame that was bent. I have used these guys in the past for broken TVs and they have always provided a delightful customer experience. You have the options of leaving stuff out on the curb but I couldn't do that because of my HOA. Also, last time I had left a desk that someone snatched up from the curb. So I didn't want to waste their time again. Their technology use is pretty awesome and respectfully as a IT guy I appreciate how it makes billing simple and easy.
