I hired this company back in 2020 and had a really great experience, so I figured I would use them again. Unfortunately, this time around, my experience wasn't nearly as good. The actual people who did the pickup were fine. A bit more bumping into walls than I'd like, but otherwise ok. The problem was scheduling. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience. read more

They did haul my junk and they showed up lightning fast. The automated message I got gave a pretty wide range from 125-595, so I guess I shouldn't have bothered with photos and dimensions. I'm big on the notion that complacency breeds contempt, and unless you shake things up now & then, you're just passing time until you die. Color that hair. Divorce that loser. Get rid of anything you haven't touched or used in the last five years. I'm not really joking here. The original plan was to do two or three bags of junk & haul them off to my office dumpster, but I tend to get anal about projects I start, and wound up with seventeen bags of trash and a second floor bedroom full of skank furniture, monitors, & weird old clothes that even Goodwill would reject. And one more small closet filled with bowling balls & video tapes. Don't ask. I calculated it would take me about sixty-four trips in my car to dump everything. Pffft to that. And Yelp came through with these guys: Quick & efficient, phone calls & texts all the way, and what took me over seven days to sort & gather they carried & hauled off in less than three hours. Get an estimate by sending them pics, because you're paying by their trailer load increments. I had a total of one and a half full trailer loads, and my cost was $840. Yeah, a little sticker shock there, but if you can find some high school kid on Craig's List to do it all for $50, go for it. I had what a lot of the more negative reviews have said so far. It's very pricy for what you get. I asked to remove a queen box spring, a desk which I already took apart (4.5' x 2.5' x 2.5" top of the desk, 2 panels of the sides which were 4' x 4' x 2.5". basically 3 large pieces of wood) and then a large box (which was empty but I thought hey, they can probably take it since they're coming anyway). I've used these folks twice now, and I recommend them highly. The first time, I was helping my mother in law empty her garage, and she was stressed out and embarrassed about how bad it had gotten. The guys that came out to help us were super polite, friendly, and did an amazingly quick job. She ended up feeling relieved and happy. The cost was in line with the estimate from their website, and the job was done in much less time than I'd expected. The second time, I just needed them to pick up a couch. They came by exactly when they said, were friendly, and charged me the per-trip minimum which worked great for me. Questionable pricing practices, but convenient service. Website pricing has nothing to do with pricing quoted on site in our experience. Website advertised pricing for a '1/2 truckload' was $395. Haulers noted some fees for specific items (e.g. $43 as the dump fee for a mini-fridge, a large-item fee for the 2 mattresses we were having removed, etc). The price quoted was $1600 - 4x what was on the website. When asked for an understanding, the price immediately dropped to $1200. We would have expected some range in price from the advertised estimate, but 3x was abrupt (apparently, $1600 was the attempted price-gouge?). Ultimately, we had to accept because of some work that was starting next day. When we requested more detail on the invoice to show how we got from $395 to $1200 the company refused. Providing 2 stars because online booking and same-day appointments are very convenient, the crew worked efficiently which may be worth paying 3x for some. Would recommend watching for difference between website pricing outline and onsite price. Ask for a more detailed accounting up-front if you get this kind of pricing surprise. read more

Jeremy was great to work with. Dealing with tornado debris pickup is an ordeal that I hope no one ever has to go through but they helped us through it. His team was great and extremely efficient. They worked through the night to get things done. My mother was so appreciative. We were all very stressed and just seeing all of the debris did not help and just that being gone now is helping things get better. You do not know how much debris there actually is until you see them loading containers and trailers all morning to be hauled off. It would have taken us months with weekend volunteers and trailers to achieve what they did in a day. I would gladly recommend them again or work with them again as more things are taken apart. read more

The junk was taken but at what cost..... when the 2 employees arrived 30 min late , since they went to the wrong address, things took a turn quickly. While apologizing and scoping out what I had for the job I was told they usually charge $400 , but since I didn't have much it would be $200. I asked for a quote earlier and was told $125 and then another text stating they would update give a quote once they arrived. The employee again stated she would text her boss about a discount. 2 seconds later I was told, " it's $200 do you want it or not? " I asked I'd they had heard from their manager. The reply was that they needed to make a certain amount so the price sticks. I'm not sure why I needed to know the interworkings of the company and who gets paid what, but the tone, rushed atmosphere was not pleasant. And on top of this paying $80 over what I'd been told including tip. Had I they been confronted with more items at my home the vehicles and trailer they had wouldn't fit it . This is false advertising. They don't send you a quote before showing up and I was absolutely astounded at the price they gave us after they had already started loading their truck. The low pickup prices and discounts advertised on google and on their website are not at all comparable to what they actually charge. We were expecting to pay $125-$200 for couch removal. It wasn't until they were standing in my living room ready to load up the couches that we received an invoice for $500. It seems that they give a price just based on "eyeballing" the things they need to pick up. As the situation was time sensitive, we had no choice but to pay for the service. If I had known the price would be so astronomical beforehand, I absolutely would have made other arrangements. There are plenty of other companies that have set pickup prices and will give you a quote before showing up. Do not use this company unless you want to be taken advantage of. read more

It was super easy to find this company, as they popped right up and seemed highly rated on Google. I went to the website, described what I needed picked up according to their form. I had checked prices and was pleased with a starting rate of $125, as I literally had three interior closet sliding doors, the interior shelf and rod. Wouldn't even be a 1/4 load. I was glad to land between $125 and $295. As the website said, they would provide a quote on-site and if I disagreed I could back out without loss. I got a text message at 10:50 saying that the truck was on its way and would arrive within 30minutes. at 11:45 there was still no truck. I texted and got a quick reply that they were in the vicinity. By 11:53 they had arrived. The two guys seemed really surprised at how few items I had to be hauled. The three of us each grabbed something and threw it in. Lasted all of one minute. They never quoted, and because their attitude and demeanor was such that everything appeared so simple, when I asked about price they simply said I would get an invoice. Okay, cool. They left. I got a text with an invoice for $295. I did not have a quarter load. I texted back saying I disagreed with the price. Whomever was behind the number, instantly became aggressive and combative. They threatened to have the truck come back and drop off the items. I wanted to negotiate and find a solution, so I offered my idea of $175. The person countered with 200, but when I asked how they calculated that number, they again became aggressive and threatened to dump the items back. Honestly, this was extremely unprofessional. I would not have had an issue with this company, had they been upfront, honest, and consistent. I felt taken advantage of. After I finally got an invoice for 180 and paid it, the person on the number neglected to text back a thank you, or even respond that they had received the payment. Never did I even get an itemization or how even 180 was decided upon, beyond my own idea of meeting somewhere in the middle. I am a consumer, sure. But I also am not going to accept being treated like I am in the wrong. I literally had small items, and a tiny pickup truck could have done the trick, so to try and charge me after the fact with a quarter load, when that had never been agreed upon was ridiculous. I will not be using this company again and I would never recommend it to anyone. read more

I made the appointment for less than 12 hours in advance. The crew texted me 30 minutes before arrival, were friendly and efficient. It was a huge relief to get the mountain of cardboard we had stored up from christmas and some home improvement projects and they even emptied our garbage and recycling cans which were full of detritus from said projects for a very small bump in price.
