My appointment was at 4 p.m. (about the time my phone dies) I went into the lobby (yes, if you are in a law firm, you are in the right place) expecting her to at least check the lobby. To her credit, her email did say she would text me to come up. Forgive me...my phone died...But really?! Just cancel and bail after 20 mins? At about 4:22 I went to the car...by then i had a charge and a few text about paying to reschedule. I called and text several times but no answer or response. I went up to her suite..nada! I asked the girl at the front if she'd seen her...not today!? Melyssa says she wasn't going to waste any more of her time?! I suggest you don't either! I know i won't.

Unfortunately, the experience at the end overshadowed an otherwise good massage. When we finished, they were waiting for us at the front desk and insisted on a larger tip. We offered a $20 tip, but they refused to accept it and pressured us into leaving $40 instead. It felt exploitative, as it seemed they used the language barrier to push for a higher tip. That left a disappointing impression and made what had been a relaxing experience end on a negative note.

No pre-massage questions about type of massage or pressure or anything. Zero intake information was asked. They just came in and got started. Not even an introduction ( I still don't know their names). My massage was fine, my boyfriend said it was low pressure and barely did anything for his tight areas. At the halfway point when I flipped over all I could focus on was the stained ceiling tiles. Made it hard to relax. But I guess that explains the mildew smell. When we were done I went to the restroom, it looked clean but smelled like it hasn't had a cleanser sprayed on anything in a minute. There are too many massage parlors in town to settle. We will try Oasis Spa up the road next.

Next day she called that she sent me a text to cancel, but she only had my home phone so of course I didn't receive it. Not a very professional way to cancel. She should have called me or emailed because you cannot run a business by texting, especially with a customer you have never met. She said she was out of town, which she knew before my appointment. Horrible customer service! The place is also in a run down apartment building that has been converted to some business offices in a seedy and dark back area. Does not feel like a safe or comforting environment. She doesn't even have the suite number right on her telephone message.

They have recently moved to S. 1st st. which is not that far from the old location. It's behind this coffee place upstairs in a commercialized apartment building now used for businesses. They have it fixed up really cute and when I got there she greeted me quietly as there was someone else behind a curtain getting a massage by another therapist. We went into her massage room and I filled out a short intake form and she gave me a little tea. After asking me some questions on what I wanted to focus on, I changed and got on the massage table. It was nice with candles and some music. She worked out my knots and got me to relax. I'll be back for more and next time I think I'll do 90 minutes.

I am extremely disappointed with the way a recent gift card redemption was handled at your spa…read more When I originally purchased the gift card, I specifically asked if a 20% tip could be included and was told it could be. I wanted the tip to be included so that the person receiving the gift would not have to worry about paying anything additional when he came in for his appointment. I also went in for the foot spa the same day the recipient went in and let them know I was going to pay for mine and gave them the gift card for the other person. Unfortunately, when I redeemed the gift card, I was made to feel uncomfortable and was essentially shamed for not leaving a tip. I tried explaining several times that the tip had already been included with the gift card, but I was repeatedly told that it had not been paid. The situation became so frustrating that I had to locate and provide the original receipt to prove that the 20% tip had, in fact, already been paid. This was incredibly disappointing and embarrassing, particularly because the entire purpose of including the tip in advance was to make the experience easy and enjoyable for the gift recipient. Instead, he left feeling as though he had done something wrong by not tipping, when the tip had already been paid by me. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I am very concerned about how this was handled. Your staff should be able to accurately review gift card transactions and, if there is any question about whether gratuity was included, resolve it without making the customer feel guilty or embarrassed. I hope you will take this situation seriously and review how gift cards with prepaid gratuity are documented and communicated to your staff to prevent another customer from being put in this position.

I called and made an appt this evening for myself and my daughter. Upon walking in we immediately noticed the sign that said due to COVID-19 they've had to increase their rates. I normally get their $30 foot massage but the lowest massage they had available was $50. I was a little irritated that this wasn't mentioned over the phone like... "Hey by they way..." but then again I didn't ask to confirm their prices were the same either. Since the appts were made and it was long overdue we paid the new rate. I appreciated all the precautionary measures they took. We filled out a questionnaire with our info, he took our temperatures, we sanitized our hands and we were lead off to separate rooms. Of course, face masks are mandatory. About 10 mins in while he was working on my back I realized the rate I paid was soo worth it!! The massage consisted of 30 min of back and 30 min of feet. I swear I dozed off for a minute while he was massaging my feet and legs but when it was all done I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. It was so worth it and dependent on the situation with COVID-19 I plan to go get another massage next month!

She told me to take off the robe and I explained to her I had no clothes under, and she had me remove the robe in front of her, so I laid on the table naked with no towel on me while she massaged me. Did not ask what I wanted massaged. It was 80% back and 20% leg massage, 0% foot. It was about 22 minutes instead of 30minutes and she asked for a tip at the end. At first I said "no thanks" but she processed to hand me the receipt and pen and I put $5. She then looked very confused at me. Poor quality massage, bad vibes and expensive for what you receive.
