I know it's a scary time being in the middle of a pandemic but my body has definitely felt every bit of stress and anxiety and I could tell it was missing my regular massages. I called and made an appt this evening for myself and my daughter. Upon walking in we immediately noticed the sign that said due to COVID-19 they've had to increase their rates. I normally get their $30 foot massage but the lowest massage they had available was $50. I was a little irritated that this wasn't mentioned over the phone like... "Hey by they way..." but then again I didn't ask to confirm their prices were the same either. Since the appts were made and it was long overdue we paid the new rate. I appreciated all the precautionary measures they took. We filled out a questionnaire with our info, he took our temperatures, we sanitized our hands and we were lead off to separate rooms. Of course, face masks are mandatory. About 10 mins in while he was working on my back I realized the rate I paid was soo worth it!! The massage consisted of 30 min of back and 30 min of feet. I swear I dozed off for a minute while he was massaging my feet and legs but when it was all done I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. The spa was close to my house so I decided to give it a try. Vibes were off as soon as I walked in. $50 for a 30minute massage so I was expecting a higher quality. And they asked me to pay ahead of time. Also extra $3 to use a credit card. Then I was told to go to a room with no instruction of like taking off my clothes or how to lay. a minute later, a woman just shut the door so I take it as my sign to put on the robe they had in there and I sat on the massage table. She told me to take off the robe and I explained to her I had no clothes under, and she had me remove the robe in front of her, so I laid on the table naked with no towel on me while she massaged me. Did not ask what I wanted massaged. It was 80% back and 20% leg massage, 0% foot. It was about 22 minutes instead of 30minutes and she asked for a tip at the end. At first I said "no thanks" but she processed to hand me the receipt and pen and I put $5. She then looked very confused at me. 0 stars. Do not recommend. I initially tried to go to a reflexology place in Pflugerville that wasn't too far from this place, but when I arrived, I noticed that the place closed down. Rather than driving to my normal place, I decided to try a place nearby which happened to be Z Massage. I arrived and asked if they took walk-ins. The lady told me yes so I selected the massage I wanted then the lady told me I needed to pay first--this caught me off guard because normally you pay for a service after the services have been rendered not prior to (Red flag #1). I debated between the 60 minute back and foot massage or the 30 minute foot massage, but I decided to go with the 30 minute foot massage since I had never been to this place before and I thought 30 minutes of a bad massage is better than 60 minutes of a bad massage since I had no idea how the massage would be. I paid and the lady asked me to leave a tip (Red flag #2) and I told her that I would tip after. Not sure the reason behind her wanting me to tip prior to receiving the massage. We head into the room and I lay on the bed. There's a clock above my head so I checked the time. Someone came in (there are bells that'll ring when the front door opens) so the lady left to go help. She came back at 11:57AM and started the massage. After a few minutes of her rubbing my feet and legs without applying no pressure, I asked for deeper pressure and she told me, "No, not right now. Later." (Red flag #3). Essentially, she was just rubbing my legs and feet just going back and forth while applying very minimal pressure/no pressure. During the massage, she dug her nails in my foot that she was massaging and I moved my foot back so she asked if everything was okay. I told her that her nails were in my foot so she took her nails out. The bells starting ringing so someone came in. I thought she was going to leave again, but she didn't. She continued the massage. A few minutes later, the bells rang again so she left to help the person that came in. I checked the clock. She came back in and started wrapping up the massage with the wet towels and told me she was done. I checked the clock again and was confused because it had only been 20 minutes and she left for a approximately 2 minutes to help the person that came in. As I'm putting my shoes on, I told her that she only massaged my feet for nearly 20 minutes. She told me it was 30 minutes. I told her the time we started and stopped. She told me that she started at 11:50. I know we didn't start at 11:50 because I was sitting in my car at 11:50 and I walked in shortly after. I selected my massage at 11:52 and I was texting my husband at 11:53 in the waiting room telling him that I had to pay first. She flat out lied about the 30 minutes. I have called every day since to speak with a manager or owner, but the manager or owner is never there. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. read more

I was able to schedule a same-day appointment for a foot massage and back massage. Like mentioned in other reviews, you do pay first and there's a spot for tip on the receipt. I asked her if I could do the tip after the massage and she understood. I think you should just ask to do that if it bothers you a lot. She asked which part I wanted done first, back or feet and I chose feet. She did an excellent job and found all the achy spots I didn't even know I had. Then she did some stretches for me and asked me to lie face first without top for my back massage. She massaged my neck a lot and found all the knots as well as the rest of my back. Massage was good. The reason that I am only giving them one star is because when I was leaving the girl insisted I give a tip. And I had already paid $70 for a one hour massage which is way more than what their website states. I have never been asked for a tip in this manner. I had the combo massage today which I thought was a good deal. 70 minute combo Head, Shoulders, Feet, and Back for $40. The guy in the lobby asked if it was ok that he did the massage, which I was fine with. My first time going to Z Foot massage in Pflugerville and I will never go back. I went for a 30min foot massage. The lady left the room twice and the massage was less a than average. I paid the $35 on my credit card and gave the lady a $5 tip in cash despite her leaving the room twice and a sub par massage. This lady had the never to say you are only tipping me $5. She caught me on a good day cause I should have taken my $5 back. they will never get a dime if my money again. read more
