Myra the office manager is a terrible communicator and never reached out to confirm times, as this was supposed to be a multi-day move. We had to continuously be the ones to reach out and confirm appointment times. Frustratingly, she had a different story to tell than the crew manager who was on site. Conflicting messages were shared all across. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! - 75% of crew was highly unprofessional and uninterested in working. Literally, every request we had (by the way, nothing out of the ordinary, we've moved quite a bit and know a thing or two about moving protocol, like putting down runners to protect the flooring - duh!) from small to large, was a no. Yet another red flag. They even had the decency to make snarky remarks. The team lead even threatened me at one point that he was going to "walk out and not finish the job" after I voiced my concerns. Talk about disrespectful, you're not talking to your friend here, pal. I'm sorry - I'm the customer here, and customer service and politeness used to mean something once upon a time. Oh wait, it still does with professional companies! - They had stated that the mattresses would be covered and protected during transport, NOT the case. Our mattress arrived filthy and unprotected. - The icing on the cake was when the crew never showed up on the 3rd day, at the agreed upon time. We called the office number, no luck. No emergency contact was provided. We called the previous crew and were rudely hung up on. No explanation. No call until FOUR HOURS later. Mind you, most of the big furniture pieces were still left unpacked and unmoved. Desperate to get out on time, we hired another company to finish the job and thank god we did because not in a million years would I want to deal with this business in any capacity again! Please find yourself a moving company who is willing and eager to go above and beyond to make an already stressful situation somewhat bearable with courtesy and respect. Edited to add response to business owner: with all due respect, it speaks volumes that you are blaming everything on the customer and have not once apologized for the conduct of your extremely UNPROFESSIONAL CREW or your shortcomings. On our credit card, we got charged incorrectly and waaaayyy over the quote and what we signed for when the guys completed the job. We called Mayra and she was unprofessional and disrespectful. "Not our problem, 3 movers arrived and thats what your paying for." Fact of the matter is, we didn't ask for 3 and 3 showed up. Was there an option for the 3rd guy to just sit and watch? Did we sign paperwork agreeing to 3 movers which we didn't need? Answer is no. Take this review for what it is. Other negative reviews revolve around billing issues as well. Be very careful. When we disputed the difference, not the full charge, because that is not right, a magical document with scribble appeared showing we agreed to three movers.

My husband and I finally met with Stacy in July (there was no huge rush at that point since she said she couldn't start the project until January and by golly, she was going to hold us a spot!). In our initial telephone call, she advised that she charged $450 for a 90-minute get-to-know-your-project-let's get-started-working-together meeting and we met on July 23, 2021. We thought her fee for the meeting was high but understandable, given that we were discussing a full house renovation and we presumed she inflated her regular hourly rate to cover time spent to create her estimate and proposal. Minutes after Stacy arrived, she had to take an inbound call from somebody purportedly working on a project of hers. I thought it was kinda odd that she didn't excuse herself to take the call privately. But now, I think it was part of her performance. "No, we're not taking out that hallway. The hallway stays," she said to the person who called her. She was very charming. Very personable. Very likable. Very interested in hearing our goals for the project and wanted to look around everywhere. She took lots of notes. She even measured something! At the conclusion of our very expensive meeting Stacy ended exactly 90 minutes after its scheduled start, Stacy advised that her fee for the 90 minute meeting was $495, which we paid (figuring we must have misunderstood her previous quoted fee of $450 by phone). Before she left, Stacy told us that it might take up to two weeks for her to present her proposal and estimate. Okay, yeah, that was fine, we reassured her. It's a big project and will take time to pull together a proposal and estimate. After not hearing from Stacy for three weeks, I sent a follow up email to her on August 18, checking on the status of her proposal. Surprisingly, we didn't hear a peep back from her--not an acknowledgement or "I'm really busy" or "we're sick" or anything--not until August 23, when she merely wrote back, "I will get it to you this week." Well, that week came and went. So, here we are on September 3 and still no further emails from her and no proposal or explanation about why there's been no contact from her. I went to her website and saw that she's now charging $595 for that 90 minute meeting and has added all kinds of enticements. I have to figure that she's changed her business model from design and build to the more instant and lucrative high priced "design consultation" meetings from which it's likely that no one will ever receive an estimate or proposal or engage her to design and build anything. I mean, quick money for 90 minute meetings is sooooo much easier and profitable than actually doing work. Meanwhile, we have lost several months of time that could have been spent with another, more reputable contractor.

We had a contract in writing that said they would be there to move us out at 10am on Thursday morning. We took off of work to arrange this scheduled plan. On Wednesday evening he advised that he wouldn't be able to show up until between 2-3pm on the day of our move-- this was later than we wanted, but still early enough, so we went with it. At 2pm on Thursday he advised that the time would be 3pm-- ok, we waited. Absolute crickets, we heard NOTHING from this Kyle and his "company" until my husband finally text him at 4pm... NOTHING. 4:30pm and my husband calls him-- Kyle answers and says "oh I was about to call you, I'm 15mins away" Kyle then begins to say there was traffic. Ok... we waited. At 5:39pm Kyle finally calls my husband to say he's at the gas station down the street and that had to use the restroom, eat and get something to drink. Kyle then shows up to the house 10mins later-- he and my husband go through the house to see what the job is. He then vents to my husband about how poorly the last job he had was and then finally says that because of that last job, he's out of moving pads and will need to go to the store to get some. When he came back from the store at almost 8pm, he brought 2 more guys-- a total of 4.The move wasn't finished until around 10:30pm and it was a terrible moving job-- our household items and boxes were NOT professionally or properly placed in the moving truck and because they didn't load the 26ft truck properly, our stuff from our small house didn't even fit. Kyle suggested that we get another truck and a storage unit-- at this point we just wanted this guy out of the house. So, NO. My husband complained that night and was given attitude and Kyle even raised his voice. And when I called today to file a complaint, Kyle became automatically defensive, didn't listen, talked over me, yelled and preceded to tell me that I was "bitching". They gave me excuse after excuse as they pushed the time back on the day I needed to move. They finally showed up 8hrs late and they were 1 man short of the crew I requested and didn't have any pads to protect my stuff. They went to the store and 2 hours later (8pm), showed up with 2 more guys, but only 3 pads. Needless to say, they rushed the job, a couple pieces were ruined and others damaged. To top it off, they didn't even fit everything in the truck. Note that the crew I hired to unload my truck couldn't believe how poorly the truck was loaded. Also, the owner was completely unproffessional, unreasonable and unable to deal with criticism without getting angry. He raised with voice at me and was disrespectful to my wife when she called to place a formal complaint. Stay away!
