We were going through it recently and had to move everything off of our bottom floor due to a leak that meant the whole floor had to be replaced (blah blah blah plus a whole lot more terrible luck I won't go into) and he bent over backwards to JUMP to help us. I'd text him randomly at night and he'd respond right away and show up the next day - SO HELPFUL. I cannot recommend him enough. (And no you should not expect any company to be THAT responsive, I'm just saying we were in a bad place and he saw that and helped). I would give them 10 stars if I could! Sean responded to my inquiry quickly - we had a tight turnaround window before our pods were getting picked up and he was able to squeeze us in last minute - literally came out the next morning - even got here 15 minutes early! We had a lot of heavy, large, bulky furniture and boxes in a large 16x8x8 pod - they had everything moved out and in the correct rooms, plus assembled the larger furniture and got it all placed for us IN AN HOUR AND A HALF. They also had some great insight as to where to place a few furniture pieces that we were unsure of. Additionally, we have hardwood floors (very easy to scratch!) and to get to the second floor you have to go up a very thin wooden staircase with a 180 degree tight turn at the top - not a single scratch on the hardwood, walls, or banisters. Every item that they moved for us was done with such care and precision that when I realized how quickly they had completed the work I was literally flabbergasted. I would recommend them to any friend, family member or stranger. They are now saved in my phone and my go to moving company for any future Texas moves! And compared to what I have had to pay other movers over the last 10 years, you cannot beat the cost or the quality of Sean and his crew. It was a pleasure working with AAM. I highly recommend as a moving company. I made the mistake of ordering a couch that I planned to put in the game room upstairs but neglected to take the proper measurements to make sure it could be moved there by conventional means. It ended up being too long to make a tight turn down a somewhat narrow hallway. So I sought help on my neighborhood facebook group and Shawn responded to me. He was then able to stop by to asses the situation and came back to make the move that night. He, Alex and Mario were able to help me out by lifting it up a story and over a balcony in the family room. Everything was quick and smooth. No problems, no damage. They get big bonus points for this because I was starting to think there was no way to move this couch and i would be forced to leave it on the first floor. We had two moves that were happening back-to-back. Our experience with Austin Accurate Movers was a very positive one. They verified a time and date for my moving day and then never showed. After initially getting defensive they apologized and said that they were "much better movers than schedulers." Hung up the phone, said they'd see what they could do for me and then never got back. I have since called multiple times, calls have not been returned. Bought a living social deal for these movers. Contacted them a couple of days after getting the deal and texted (their preferred method of contact) with a day/time I needed movers. They couldn't do that time and we went back and forth trying to find a time that worked. I eventually gave up and went with another mover. Then 2 months later I again called and texted them about a move and it took them 3 days to get back to me. By that time I had hired different movers (again!). Then the living social deal expired and I called them and left another message asking if they would still honor the deal and come do some moving for us. Big surprise, they never responded. We had the most horrible experience we have ever had! They arrive on time which was the only PLUS but had a small truck that could not fit my items they then wanted to charge me for making 2 trips although i sent a detailed list of what we had to move! He then tells me it was going to be a flat $800 because that was all they could charge by law,,, i signed contract only to be told when we left our house to the new house that because they were going to walk a distance and possibly go up/down hill and up stairs i was going to be about another $100...i argued with him and said you cant just decide to add prices on because you under staffed your self . I told him this was not right , he said half way through the move he wanted to quit because i had to much stuff and my furniture was HEAVY! He said he was going to count the steps to and from the truck up the stairs and back and see how far he was going to have to WALK! That was ridiculous! At the end of the day he asked for $800 which i paid but stood there like he wanted more, i felt forced to give him more because he was just standing there looking at me! He also asked me to give it to him in cash, he didn't even give me an invoice. seriously the worst service ever! I felt bad for his nephews because he had them working very hard ! I have learned my lesson never use a fly by night kind of company! They are not prepared to handle heavy furniture if you have cheap furniture i bet they can make it the best experience you could ever have! Not to mention they broke one of the legs off a dresser that we are going to have to fix ourselves and also cracked a wooden leg on my curio cabinet........ they don't take care of items! I bought a 2 hours LivingSocial for $99!! it was a trick.. and $125 for any additional hour. I was happy with the deal since i was told that i only need 2 - 3 hours to move my small two bed rooms appt. it took them over 7 hours to move my stuff and they charge me $150/h for any additional hour.. they were unprofessional, with at an attitude. I have paid arm and legs to get this company to move my stuff. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

We used Shawn & crew to move out of a 3/2 house into a 2/1 house and storage unit while we were doing work on our 3/2 house. We were unconcerned about bumping the walls / scratching the hardwoods on the way OUT of the house as we were renovating. Never the less they wrapped everything in shrink wrap and / or moving blankets and we had ZERO issues moving out. Moving back in we WERE concerned with bumping / scratching the new walls, trim, hardwoods, carpet, etc etc. Well we gave Shawn another shot at it and couldn't have been happier. They again did an excellent job of protecting furniture and being very respectful of the "new" house. Took their shoes off on the carpets, etc. And never complained once of our semi-obsessive requests to hold heavy chests of drawers while we put felt on the legs! I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again and I'd recommend to anyone who asked! read more

Although I ended up not using AAM, their customer service is amazing. I called because I had just purchased a 700lb safe. I was on a very tight deadline to get it picked up from an auction house (2 days) and I personally had limited availability. Shawn was amazing in offering my options and trying to work around all the limitations I had. He also had the cheapest quote around which is always a plus! I was able to have friends help me move the safe that the only reason I did not use AAM. If I am ever in need of movers I will definitely use AAM. read more

I purchased a LivingSocial voucher for "Professional Moving with Two Men and a Truck from Austin Accurate Movers." I thought it was for the Two Men and a Truck movers. When I tried to redeem, I was told the voucher was for another company. When I tried to get a refund, I was denied. I was told that there was only 1 week to get a refund and that it was my fault to assume it was for Two Men and a Truck movers. I believe this was a deceptive way to advertise the service, using a known and popular mover's company name. Ads shouldn't be allowed to cause confusion like this. I'm out $99. I will never purchase any voucher from LivingSocial again. And I'll never have anything to do with Austin "Accurate: Movers. read more
